First room didn’t have a functioning air conditioning. They moved me to another room because they were unable to repair the AC. Second room had an inch gap at the top of the door that allowed swarms of moths through. I spoke to the clerks at the desk and they directed me to the Assistant General Manager because they didn’t have a repairman on site. They recommended that I email him because he was so busy that he rarely responds to phone calls. I leave all of the lights on in the loft area to draw the moths up there so they don’t disturb me as much while I’m sleeping. If you want a old, run down hotel room that’s been given a fresh coat of paint with a ton of underlying problems and zero concern for their customers than you have found the right place.

Well, the place is nice and clean. Unfortunately, we had issues after our stay. They asked to update the card on file for auditing purposes. Which I double checked and the worker was from hotel. And after that there were a few unauthorized transactions on the account. So I had to freezr my card. I called the hotel and its manager but no response.

BEWARE OF BED BUGS, HORNETS, AND ROACHES! Whatever you do do not book here! Never give these people your money they will hold it hostage and refuse to refund you! The manager Justin lied to us about a credit we were supposed to have sent back to us and ruined our Honeymoon. The front desk person Cooper was completely rude and uncaring. They have zero customer service and even worse accommodations. This place is a health hazard and a scam. They should be shut down by health inspector as well as fraud. I hope nobody gets burned like us!

BEWARE BEWARE!!!! Read all the comments about fraudulent charges on your credit cards. I reserved a room for 25 days, paid almost $4500, ( for this dump)in FULL AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. After the first week, my card was changed another $850. It took a week, 3 trips to the front desk and an email to the online booking site to get my money back. They refunded me minus the $250 deposit, AND THEN they have tried to charge me ANOTHER $250 EVERY SINGLE DAY, since then. Thankfully I have locked my card so they can't STEAL ANYMORE money from me. The room is infested with roaches, we have to leave our things in our garage and unpack so we don't bring bugs in our new home. The hot tub didn't work for 2 weeks. The breakfast sux. Exact same food everyday. The second night we were there, someone threw a huge boulder through the window of our U-Haul. Someone definitely needs to find out what's going on with the unsavory accounting practices. If you decide to stay here after reading the reviews...PLEASE PLEASE keep an eye on your finances while you are here. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

The room and bathroom was clean, bed comfortable, nice kitchenette and living area. It is quite loud with the highway next to the accommodation. The pool was lovely but properly chilly, refreshing on a sunny day though. Hot tub a bit too cool. The hot breakfast was nice. Area not really walkable, rather take the car.

Absolutely beautiful room. Large living area with TV, fireplace, huge kitchen area with everything needed. The bed was huge and so very comfortable that I didn't want to get up. It had, yet, another TV. The dressing area and bathroom were more than any family could need. DID I mention the spacious closet? This location was perfect. Its located right off the freeway but very quiet. The landscaping has beautiful green grass that is well maintained. I couldn't ask for anything better. And the plus, plus for me is that I am traveling with my dog. She was welcomed and there were enough treats. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were amazingly friendly and so very accommodating. I would most definitely stay here everything I travel through this area.

the room was super spacious and the bed was super comfortable!! our room had a small kitchen fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, pots, pans, plates, cups, forks, spoons, etc! i was so sad we were only there for 1 night. breakfast was better than expected with a great variety and was actually really tasty! we loved this place so much and will definitely be returning!!! ONLY downside was that there was a $250 deposit that i was unaware of, didn’t find out until i checked my bank statement but it was refunded after checking out.

Right off the highway. Ez to find. Room was clean and spacious. Front office staff very helpful. I really liked 👍 the front sitting room with fireplace. Kitchenette was well stocked with all needed supplies to cook our own meals. They even offer a service 🙄 where you can give them a grocery list and they will shop for you. Excellent choice for a quite night.

I was very dissatisfied with my overall experience! I wasn't told upon making reservations that a $250 deposit was required...didn't find out until I read email that was sent after reservation already made. The pool wasn't working! The breakfast was horrible! This place has went downhill! Could have stayed at a 4 star hotel for what I was charged! NEVER AGAIN! DON'T RECOMMEND THIS DUMP!

I always stay here when I’m in town. Right off the freeway (i40). Several places to eat near by. The prices are fair, the rooms are clean and have great amenities. Really great for extended stays. Parking is always easy and close to my room. Descent breakfast every morning. Friendly staff.

My brother and his wife are staying there and my Mom & I went to visit them. The room was very nice and clean. The room also had a small kitchenette which was nice. It would be a nice place to stay for anyone!!

The room was clean, good temperature, and comfy. It's affordable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast staff was great and Jamal front desk attendant was awesome.

Location good/bad. Good that it's available right off the highway, bad cause you hear nothing but the highway in the room. Good: grassy areas for pets. Bad: The room's old. Door frame loose and coming apart. Walls thin, could hear other tenants. Few bugs.

Entire reason we booked this room was for the fireplace. We get in the room and it says you have to purchase logs at the front desk. Went there, and they don’t have any fire logs. When I told the front desk associate that’s the only reason we came here, her response- *shrug* sorry but one from Walmart. (Mind you we have been driving 9+ hours already today and all I wanted was to sit down) $250 deposit, $75 dog fee, have you sign like 4 papers at check in. Feels cheap and it is. Get what you pay for.

Location felt dodgy. I'm pretty sure one of our neighbours was doing drugs in the alleyway between our rooms. Rooms outdated and dingy. Holding charge for incidentals excessive (double the price of the room). Well equipped kitchens though, which was good as we couldn't find any decent dining options nearby. Took the 15 minute round trip to Trader Joe's instead! Breakfast was pretty standard. Had to pass on the breakfast tacos as the meat looked very poor quality.

I absolutely love this place! I've been to many hotels and this one is my number one favorite. It's very luxurious and spacious. We booked the 2 bedroom loft suite king and queen room and we walked in and just super clean and it has an oven with cabinets full with pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, everything needed in a regular home and even a strainer! Ice tray in the freezer. Had hangers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. It had everything! My wife and I loved everything about it. The employees were pretty cool and very attentive to our needs. They had a hot tub, a heated pool, a super clean fenced in basketball court area. A 24hr gym and a awesome breakfast area that served a good amount of different foods. Pancakes, eggs, tortillas, chorizo, yogurts, different types of breakfast breads, bagels, ect. Plenty varieties of juices and coffee and such. They have room service as well. They have a lot of stuff. I will definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. My wife likes cheaper hotels but I'm a little on the high maintenance type and this place blew my mind for sure! Gonna stay here again soon for sure!!

We booked the room through Travelocity. The room came as advertised! We had a two bedroom suite which came with full kitchen, two bathrooms, living room, and plenty of space for our belongings. We stayed for seven days and nights. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Would recommend!

They ruined my honeymoon! Bed bugs!!! Beware!! Roaches beware!!! They have a $250 hidden fee and if your rewards it’s $100 but they don’t tell you until after they charge you the $250 then tell you on well!!! Worst customer service!! Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen!!! They told us they would keep the $250 if the room smells of smoke then gave us a room that smelt like cigarette smoke!!! Then when we told COOPER. He sent us to a room that had bed bugs and cockroaches and hornet’s! The door didn’t lock at all!!! I tried to get a refund and they refuse to do anything except a 3-5 business day! Ruined our honeymoon!!!

I have stayed at many Sonesta's throughout the US and this is one of the best. Located near the highway with many food options available. Employees were all helpful, kind and professional. Their continental breakfast is great with many options and the reception has a great atmosphere. Rooms were roomy and clean. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed here because we were moving cross-country with two cats and needed to stay somewhere that was actually pet-friendly (which can often mean dog-friendly). There is a $100 pet fee/week, but this place was great for what we needed! Nice big, clean rooms with a full kitchen and even a fireplace! Some street/airplane noise, but not too bad. There are very bright outdoor lights around, which is great for night safety, but the curtains didn't quite block them out completely. My only complaint, which is only a concern if you have cats, is that the bed is completely open underneath. This made it difficult to pack up in the morning because they liked hiding under there.

We absolutely loved our stay. Our room was like a small apartment. Very spacious. Bed was comfortable too. Service was awesome. Breakfast was okay, but can't beat a free breakfast. Other than highway noise, it was very quiet. We liked the walkabilty as well . There is Rudy's BBQ, Blake's Lottaburger, and Applebee's within walking distance. There is also a whole foods market just a couple of miles away too for groceries. We'd definitely start again.

Beautiful rooms, nice and spacey. It's like a little studio apartment with all the ammenities it comes with. Even a fireplace! The only part I think is negative, the location, the motel 6 beside it houses so much questionable characters. And the homeless are pretty prevalent around the area. Other than that I think this is one of the best hotels in Albuquerque.

Not very nice. Room was kinda gross. Found empty beer can under couch. Digital scales under the bed. Just not good area. Lots of people around doing questionable activities. Pretty sure drugs and guns were being sold out of the place. Will definitely not return

I enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Still I felt reasonably secure. Management is aware and they are on their toes about it. Hope the neighborhood improves. Free breakfast is ok but am puzzled as to why big companies like Dannon make yogurt without active cultures? Isn't improving gut health the point of eating yogurt? Another thing, why does the cereal bar only offer highly sugared cereal?. Feeding that to kids and then putting them in a car for 8 hours drive is torture. Even so, I would stay here again.

I didn't stay there myself but my granddaughter made reservations and paying through Hotels.com for 1 night and traveling for 14 hours straight from Texas City, Texas to Albuquerque, NM to the Sonesta ES Suites, she was DENIED her hotel room. The hotel clerk was rude to her and told her she could not rent a room to anyone under 21. My granddaughter was totally upset and had to go find another hotel in the middle of the night. I access the web sight and could not find this rule. The hotel clerk was totally unconcerned for the safety for my granddaughter and her friend. According to their rules, pets are allowed but not anyone under 21 to make a reservation. "I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE'

The suite was nice. However, we did not get the complementary breakfast because it was Christmas morning and the kitchen staff did not come to work. The front desk staff bought us freaking Walmart donuts and told us "that's all I have". We were not notified about the lack of hot breakfast during check in. We felt so cheated, and finding alternatives on Christmas morning was very difficult. The hotel lobby was filled with disappointed customers and it was a horrible start for a supposedly fun Christmas day. Be warned that staying here for any holidays you will not get all the services you need.

Room was very large with fully equipped kitchen, table, sofa, fireplace & TV above fireplace. Two queen beds with an additional TV. Free breakfast in the morning with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage. Great location near freeway and excellent price through Expedia.
