Upon walking into the dimly lit room, a putrid smell of dirty mushrooms punched me in the nostrils. I immediately became nauseated. My eyes began to adjust to horrors that lied within the motel room. My first move was to go to the bathroom. There were hairs EVERYWHERE. Hairs on the toilet, hairs in the bathtub, hairs in the sink. Hell, there were even hairs that had been haphazardly painted over. While washing my hands, I looked up at the light fixtures that were covered in yellow and brown grime. My eyes trailed up the ceiling to discover that the entirety of the ceiling was splattered with this grime. My skin was crawling at this point. I sat down in the chair from 1955 and began to take deep breaths as I knew it was time to go ask for a refund. The final straw was when I turned on the lamp and my eyeballs laid upon the fly feces that covered the lamp shade. I called my father in law who used to be a police investigator and he said that probably indicates that this room once had a dead body in it that attracted flies. I sprinted out of the room post haste to go get a refund. PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM HERE.

So my partner checked into the room. And there was no issues, but as soon as they saw me, a masculine female we had to leave. Told us we brought to much luggage in the room. Mind you we books for 5 days. Two duffle bags and tote for food and our home blankets and pillows so we could feel comfortable Definitely homophobic. And DONT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL!!

I drive semi truck and broke down in Albuquerque New Mexico. Was there for 5 days. Stayed at Hampton Inn then Travelodge the last night. Both were nice, clean rooms. Staff was amazing both places! Everyone was so chill there. Y'all stay cool, I will be visiting again in the future. Living free is the only way!!

The room was very clean the property was clean as well. The desk operator was courteous friendly. The TV remote did not work but there were control buttons on the side so at least it was usable. And the room heater was okay but not great

It was perfectly acceptable for the price. The front desk was helpful and cheery. The room smelled like cigarette smoke but I understand this can be hard to get rid of. Yeah, manage your expectations. If you're staying at the cheapest hotel in the area, what exactly do you expect?

There ok I wouldn't go back unless I actually had to it is better than Motel 6 for damb sure. At least I didn't see any cockroaches, but there was still hair left in the shower it smelled really bad once I opened the door so I had to leave it open for 20min to air out. The beds were at A+ very comfy I never sleep under the covers cause I know how they clean the sheets I used to be a housekeeper so the way they train u is crazy ridiculous. The floors had dirt and hair it looked like they sweep fast. The area is crazy a lot of homeless and a lot of crime in that area of the Travelodge and the other motels there. But it was better than sleeping in a car ill tell u that much.😏🥺 Thank you.

Good location off I40. Clean room but very dated interior. No ice makers or vending. Ample free parking. No coffee maker in room or in the breakfast room. No hair dryer but no big deal to us.

Average. Security patrols area often. House keeping older lady red hair very rude. Check out it at 11 yet she was banging on the door before 10 wanted to know if I was leaving or not. I am disabled with a service animal and I never felt more unwelcome anywhere in my life

The staff here is very friendly and would do whatever was requested(within reason of course) to make my stay comfortable. Affordable rates, even when others jumped during Balloon Fiesta. Several restaurants close by and a convenience store. Cost about $3.00 to do my one load of laundry here, which is cool. Laundry equipment works well and room was clean. Would stay again.

As far as cheaper freeway motels go, this is a good one. The owners keep the place clean and keep the riff raff off the property. The rooms are nice and beds comfortable. Always happy when I stay here

It was a nice place. Not top star. No cups and no body soap or conditioner. The hair dryer was fixed with black electrical tape. The room was clean. Thr operators we super nice and great patience . 100.00 for a single night for 2 Double beds.

Burn holes on comforter and dark smudges on sheets. The room was very dirty with the smoke detector ripped out. The replacement room they gave us was not much better. Very very dirty place.

Dirty, feces smeared in toilet, drinking cup in a sealed bag had food in it. We only stayed because we had been driving for over 12 hours. Couldn't wait to leave. It seemed like one of those 'by the hour motels'. Even though the desk clerks were pleasant, I won't go back.

Every single towel was worn thin and stained. Bathroom faucet was broken. Tub has not been updated in at least 30 years. Pillows were thin and bed was awful. No amenities provided. Staff was polite. To echo many others, the homeless problem here is intense. Abandoned car in lot with slashed tires and a VERY thick layer of dirt and pollen implied it had been there for a while. Next time, I'd rather sleep in my car.

There are so so many homeless people in this area. Because the local homeless come to this area with plans on renting a room . But eventually they can't afford it and get kicked out. With no where else to go they end up staying in the area. .... Sad smh

The office & site was clean. Lady at the office was very friendly & made me feel very comfortable. My room was very clean. My bed & bedding was so comfortable. Loved the fresh clean crisp smell of the bedding. Nice to have a fridge & microwave in my room, which I did use. Heater / AC worked very well. TV & remote not so much. I’m glad I have movie channels on my cell. They provided WiFi, which I did not use because I have good service on my cell. I was able to park in front of my room which is always a plus. At night it was very well lit. I felt safe. The property is gated all the way around, which I appreciated since I saw what appeared to be transients in this area. Curtains were little worn from handling. I found a hole on bed cover. No real concern. I could have used a couple of extra towels & an extra little bar of soap & shampoo since I was staying 2 nights. Restaurants, fast food, shopping & gas very close by. The property is located off a very busy street. Overall, I would recommend. I had a very comfortable stay. If I am in Albuquerque again, I would stay here.

Easy access from I-40. Service was good, a lot of people walking from Motel 6 back and forth. Beds were comfortable a/c works good, BUT, there was dry piss on the toilet seat( I had Lysol wipes with me) so I cleaned it rather than going back to office after driving for 14hrs. A lot of homeless folks 😢 cops sitting in the road between the motels. Parking is not very good and not able to park where you can watch your vehicle.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this Travelodge, certainly not up to any expectations we had of this hotel brand. The biggest issue was lack of cleanliness. The sofa chair was filthy, the desk chair arm covering was virtually worn off, the flooring was chipped & damaged & the lock on the door was broken & half missing. On a good note, the bed was clean & comfortable, the shower was hot & plentiful & the fridge worked. The place really needs some attention.
