Not sure what was in the tub, but very disgusting, drain was plugged. Room didn't appear to have been cleaned. Ended up getting a different room lobby was closed. According to the listing there was coffee and breakfast available from 6 am - 10 am, lobby was still closed. Left for work at 8 picked up coffee on the way. Will definitely not be back to this location!

Not the best area, there were homeless people and police there most of the night we stayed, I didn’t get much sleep. I recommend traveling on to the next area for a different hotel/motel. Had my husband and I not been carrying our weapons we would not have stayed. The place needs a lot of improvements in the rooms.

The bedsheets had someone's footprint on them like they hadn't been changed, the window was broken to our room. Lamps were missing light bulbs, little ran down for the price you can definitely tell people do not stay here often. Management needs to do a better job on the up keep if your going to charge 73 dollars for one night. I was wore out from a long drive from Missouri and just wanted to get some rest. Wouldn't recommend this place

I'll start off with this: They charged $30 over what my online confirmation price was. The room was wrecked when we got in there. Broken outlets and switches. Writing on the walls, broken lights, the toilet wasn't set properly so when you went to use it it would tilt a good inch to an inch and a half to the side and it wouldn't flush properly. The floor was dirty and the sheets were stained and off color. The walls are so thin that you hear everything. Including the people right next door slamming things and talking to eachother. The seal around the front door was nonexistent and the "security lock" barely made it when it was thrown. Overall, this hotel is overpriced at even $60 a night and not worth staying at even if you are at a loss for somewhere to stay. It'd be better to just keep driving or sleep in your car.

I always have fun memories of me and the family traveling through the country and staying at the Travelodge as it was my dad's favorite place to stay. They have always been affordable and have always had clean rooms. Consider staying at the Travelodge before going up the pass or maybe you have come down to pass and require some rest before you carry on the road. Thank you for providing a safe space and for a good night's rest

Beds are comfy. Wi-Fi is ok. Other than that it was a very horrible experience. I booked it for 7 nights and had to complete 6 nights and Ran out in the 7th. 20+ Druggies share the same room and they keep smoking and fighting. The smell is horrible like burned rotten nuts (most likely is crack). Very noisy and loud, horrible smell, and bad looking people who destroyed themselves. Thought Wyndham is doing good. After this experience, I will less likely go to any Wyndham hotel chain and never ever to Travelodge in anywhere in the whole United States. They scammed me and said I will refund the 7th night and the $50 deposit and they never did. The 800 customer service number for Wyndham does not help at all. I swear all what I said was true. We only had one quieter night but the crack smell was strong that night. Homeless set around it and in the parking lot. Was not wanting to right a negative honest review I swear, but since they scammed me they deserves it. I don’t recommend it at all. I tried La Quinta next to it and it was a very amazing and clean experience. Oh and they don’t clean or change linen till you send it downstairs in the lobby yourself. Their towels are bad and I returned it for clean ones and he have nothing. Lobby is closed mostly even during the day time. Doesn’t worth 60$ plus tax a night. Wish I took a shelter maybe better. Uh oh well

Smelled like cigarettes. Door kept rattling. Bath tub kept squeaking while trying to take a shower. Didn't feel secure at all. AC didn't work. Curtains were about to fall off, didn't want to shut. Transients sleeping by stairwell, felt very unsafe. Worse stay ever. I let the desk clerk know about my experience and she said she couldn't do anything about it.

Worst experience ever. When we first got in here we went to the front desk to get a room. The guy at the front desk, I'm guessing the manager, rushed checking us in. He didn't ask how long we were staying for and when we inquired about the pet policy he said they were pet friendly but didn't bother asking if we had any animals traveling with us. Not to mention he didn't give my boyfriends ID back to him. Overall the service was unprofessional. We got into the room and it BARELY looked like it was cleaned. The floor was dirty, and I could really tell when I got into the shower because the water turned black where I was stepping. The bathtub creaks incessantly when you move. The lotion was used. There's holes in the dresser? Overall it wasn't a good experience, the only thing positive I have to say is the beds are comfortable.

Would not recommend. My room had a large hole by the toilet. Burnt light fixtures. The non smoking room smelt like smoke. My neighbors were smoking outside, while their window was wide open with no screen. The check in lady, did not ask about pets and when I told her about my dogs, she didn’t know how to charge me, but she was going to charge me cash only. She only activated my room key for 1 night and I was staying 2 nights. I felt very unsafe staying here. They are pet friendly but don’t have any pet pick up stations nor do they have an area for pets to use the restroom.

Worst stay ever! Got woken up every morning by front desk clerk, got falsely accused of something the people in the next room to us did, can’t get deposit back (never heard of a deposit until I got to this hotel), walls are thin as paper, and rooms aren’t overly clean! Me and my wife just got married and are trying to enjoy our honeymoon! Please steer clear away from this place, even if you really need a room!

We completed our stay at the Travelodge, but were disappointed. Although it is a budget motel option, one should always feel safe and that they are in an establishment that is taken care of, no matter the overnight cost…that’s business. Our door had two penny sized holes that were covered up, as from the parking lot one could look in and see your room. The room smelled like smoke. We had the impression that several ‘guests’ lived there by the foot traffic, parking lot visitors and hangouts, and the noise level of our neighbors. There was a dirty face towel hanging on the shower curtain and several hairs left for us in the shower. Found out the pool was closed when we checked in - the reason we booked this particular budget motel. Would not recommend. The front desk lady was nice upon checkin.

The toilet tank lid was missing, the toilet ran all the time (wasting water), walls were dirty, the floor was so dirty my feet turned black after a shower! See wash cloth pic. The upgrades were done poorly with floor boards not to the tub. Dog kibble and trash on the floor when we came in. People were nice, shower floor wasn't slippery are the only 2 good things I can say. Later found out this hotel rents rooms to the homeless paid for by the city! AVOID!!!!

Great location, just off the freeway. First room given us had used towels hanging. Apologies were given, then new room. The new room had no refrigerator, the light over the sink gave enough light for just a nightlight, There were black grease stains on the comforter which was covered up by the sheet. The manager on duty managed to find us a refrigerator and brought it to our room. We asked if there were any washcloths and were told probably not. We had 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. I didn't do any research to find a hotel, just picked one on the road. My mistake. Also, the charge on our credit card was $50 more than our receipt. Not sure why and efforts to find out have not been fruitful as every time we call the hotel it rings many times and then just disconnects.

We reserved a room with a fridge and microwave, but got neither. I took pictures of the hole in the sheets, the security latch was missing the part on the door, the water filter spigot leaked all over the floor when turned on (I used the only hand towel to dry the floor and the towel was so filthy it looked like I just mopped up the whole floor and we had just arrived!), the lamp shade was barely holding together, we could see daylight around 3 sides of the door, there was no remote control in the room for the tv, there was no ice bucket and instead we were given a plastic bag (after asking), each of of 4 times I had to go back to talk to staff it took 20-30 because the line was so long, but staff was very nice though slow-maybe it was a new computer system?! The outside of the building no longer looks like the website photo, there were doors without handles and the hole filled with foam and wood chunks, no place nearby to walk the dog, the park is ONLY for compact cars and yet when larger vehicles park - you don’t want them next to them or you can’t open your car door, also the maintenance worker drove up in his full size pickup and he parked diagonally in the office entrance and blocked it from guests trying to park while checking in. When we were calling to confirm our room before coming and wanted to ask if the pool was open-we let the phone ring for 15 minutes and no one answered any of 6 times we called. This should be very embarrassing for Wyndham. I took pictures of the room status to be sure we get our $30 “incidental” charges returned to our credit card. I wish there was a place for me to share them here.

Total scam attempted by this property- BEWARE Initially made reservations for this property in January for the Balloon festival. Rate shown on website was a normal rate so I was leery but booked with the intention of double and triple checking as we got closer to Balloon fest dates. So for the last 6-7 days, I’ve received multiple confirmations of my reservation and assurances that the rate was correct. As we’re making our 7 hour drive to this property we (2 couples) get a call where caller says they’re part of front desk staff and that one couple’s reservation has been cancelled due to declined card. Checking with the bank, card was indeed declined because the property keyed in the wrong expiration date. So property called informing us that the reservation was cancelled but we could get a new reservation for same room, same nights at nearly QUADRUPLE rate While this is all transpiring, I call my card company and they also declined my card for suspected fraudulent charges. I call back to hotel with my credit card company on the phone and am told no, CC is declined, nothing hotel “can” do so reservation is cancelled. We can make new reservation for same nights at “current” rate but would only be on reserve list as hotel is getting so many new reservations Basically, we made reservations and received a rate below what they COULD charge (Wyndham issue??? Local property issue??? Don’t know). We were assured the reservation was good at the quoted rate - right up to the point they realized they could get more by canceling our reservation and trying to extort as much as 4 TIMES original rate

I can honestly say the service from the staff, Gigi, Antonio, Christina and Esperanza were kind, professional and attentive to whatever guest needed in a timely and proficient manner. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Grateful for the positive experience. May they all be blessed for their awesome Acts of Service in an unappreciative World.

I've been traveling the American Southwest and grabbing budget motel rooms when friends and family weren't an option. Albuquerque was my stop after leaving Oklahoma City and visiting sites in Amarillo, TX, and Santa Rosa, NM. Arrived at the motel to discover I was to be charged a $5.85 COVID-19 "sanitizing fee" per night. First, Agoda indicated the charge would be $4.50. Second, the room wasn't sanitized. I pulled back the bedspread to discover several large cigarette burns in the blanket AND several long hairs on the blanket. Not sure what they meant by "sanitized". A sign on the inside of the room door indicated the inventory of items in the room (towels, pillows, hangers, coffee makers, etc.) and that if anything was missing after checkout that I would be charged for it. Problem was, less than half of what they said was in the room WAS in the room. (four pillows instead of eight, no coffee maker, etc.) I made it clear upon check-out that I would not expect to see any charges to my card for "missing items". The room was musty, and the door lock was questionable. Guests above me made noise all night. Free breakfast in the morning consisted of a couple of slices of white bread, two choices of cold cereal, some coffee, some juice, and a make your own waffle machine (no butter.) As budget accomodations go, this was the least of all options.

Disgusting room. Holes in the flooring, sheets had stains. Horrible service, was unable to reach anybody at 9:00pm on a Saturday needing more bath soap. The front desk attendant was on the phone for a personal call during check in and check out. Location also does not feel safe at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Disgusting. It’s apparent this place is frequented by junkies. Unsafe is the most polite way to describe this place. Even if you’re in a rough spot, I promise you’re better off elsewhere. They also charged my card repeatedly after issuing a refund. Trust the reviews, do not book here!!

Too much road noise. Rooms in need of repair. One tiny soap to use between the sink and shower. Hot shower was nice.

  • 1/5 Lisa U. 1 year ago on Google
I give it zero stars, there is no way to describe just how gross and nasty the place was. We stayed barley 10 minutes and packed up and left. There was some kind of blue goo on the walls, no remote for the TV and it was broken. To top everything off, the window was broken and spidered. Never in a million years would I recommended this place !!!

There is very little parking, and the TV in our room didn't work. When we tried to contact the front desk, office was locked up with a number to call on the door. No answer. There were two small towels and 1 washcloth for two people. No coffee maker. Would not suggest this as a place to stay

Worst hotel I have ever been in . I do not recommend it they never clean rooms. They stalled our luggage from inside rooms.

Front desk lady was so rude and ugly, my key wouldn't work, she made me pay again wouldn't let me go to my room to get my previous receipt to prove I had already paid then threatened to call the cops on me. It was the most terrible experience I've ever had at a hotel. The next morning front desk lady was amazing as well as the manager was awesome, they made it right but a consumer shouldn't have to go through what I went through when I had already paid. Not to mention the night before I was locked out of my room for over an hour waiting for the maintenance guy to come change the batteries in my door lock.... Morning staff and management made it right like I said but honestly the last at night should have got fired, she was drunk or high on something and a terrible person

The staff is so helpful, and kind. Maintenance was very well kept up. They made my stay feel just like home. I will definitely refer friends and family to have an enjoyable, relaxing stay just as I did! I especially like all of the perks and incentives I receive when I redeemed my points! Great job gang!

I wish I could rate this hotel less. We have stayed with Wyndham Travel Lodge many times before and had a wonderful experience for the price point so we gave the ABQ location a chance for the balloon fiesta. Our room was actually laughable: -there was multiple light bulbs missing from lamps, as well as the lamp shades -a punched fist mark in the wall -what appeared to be a bullet hole in the door frame -the toilet ran our entire 2 night stay -the sink leaked -the towels had black smudge stains on them -the bedding was ripped -the wifi didn't connect -our key card deactivated during out first night -the front desk receptionist came by at 9 am the day of our check out to remind us know that check out was at 11... I found this very odd and intrusive. The location was okay in regards to the balloon fiesta but I will not be staying here again.

2022 Balloon Fiesta. Stayed 3 nights. At check in, dead batteries at the door keyless entry, maintenace tried climbing threw the window, but then took a screw driver to the door jam, inside, floors not mopped, wifes feet looked super dirty, no batteries in the TV remote, horrible TV anyway. Broken or missing outlet covers, no daily cleaning or fresh towels. But the mattress was ok. Main door had major air gaps. Could hear the next rooms conversations threw the wall. Wyndham should remove everything connected to this motel. Is

If I could put 0 stars I would. I paid $90 for a room the had no working toilet, missing phone and TV. The front desk guy disappeared after 1130 pm never to be seen again. I hope this place goes out of business. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST. Pay a few dollars more and avoid this place

  • 1/5 Joseph A. 1 year ago on Google
This place is an absolute dump. Should be zero stars. Shower doesn’t drain. Everything broken and run down. And they have the gall to ask you to rate it 5 stars.

  • 1/5 Sarah N. 3 months ago on Google • 1 review New
Do not recommend! The first room had holes in the sheets. The curtains were falling off and wouldn’t close. No phone to call front desk. They moved us to a different room but wasn’t much better. We weren’t sure if the splatters on the floor were blood or paint. Large gaps in the door. The door to the connecting room didn’t have a handle and was kept closed by the desk. Graffiti on everything. When booking, they confirmed there was a pool but when we got there, it wasn’t working. Honking and sirens in the parking lot all night.
