After multiple days in the emergency room at Lovelace in the Westside I have been released with no answers. I have continued numbness on my entire left side of my body that has crossed my midline to my right chest, throat, and face. I am weak and sore. I was provided no water or food for the entire time I was there (3 days). My throat tightens when swallowing and it is clear there is a struggle in swallowing. Never once was this checked. It was clearly not a stroke either, but almost all the tested for. Definitely would NOT recommended their Emergency Room if you need anything. Nurse Nancy was one of the only positive experiences we had the entire time I was there.

I could not have had a more accommodating experience. I have chronic pain and just moved here out of state and just got my Medicaid applied for but not approved yet. Dealing with a really really bad exacerbation. Living in Portland Oregon for over 15 years despite the fact that I knew what the problem was in other providers also did I never got any relief because they only wanted to send me to physical therapy acupuncture etc. I've been here maybe half an hour and the provider was wonderful and she gave me prescriptions for the pain and the inflammation and found me a good pain clinic. Alica nurse practitioner was personable and friendly and knew her stuff 100%. The nurse, nursing student, techs, and volunteers could not have been more kind. I was having such trouble walking when I arrived that they got me a wheelchair and did not make me feel weird about it. Best experience I think I've ever had at an ER!

I went in this facily for chronic pain only last lier quadrant related to G.I. After a long wait like others, was seen and prescribed a CAT Scan. The tech was outstanding. The blood work and CAT Scan came back and found a minor heart sac of water which previous VT Scan done a month before revealed nothing in regards to this finding. Having low grade fevers for three weeks is concerning but left the ER with no answers in that department. Lower G.I. and night fevers were not addressed in great depth. When I asked a nurse to have the doctor explain what was going on a second time, I was dismissed, confused with no resolution. Again, I should have been admitted for further eveluation over night, the hospital had no beds due to Covid patients. People who refused to get their shots taking up crital care patients I am not happy getting cross findings from a month before, there was no empathy and medical personnel whio seemed to care. in a ,nurse

Do not use this ER if you have Chronic Acute pain. Am w/o a md due to his retirement. so no 5 mg oxycodone. I am retired RN and had Peripheral Neuropathy 9 years progeessive. So their policy no adequate pain relief for constant pain, intense during night. Only NP here. 5 min and twice vost irgent care and little difference. Chronic Pain Policy reqursted but denied. We need unite law suit, hospitals for profit having multiple high dalaried Administrators while patient care suffers, and pharmaceuticals demanding high price scripts is not medicine. It is profit making Corporations they work for. I was a Federal Certified Long Term Care Surveyor and had no idea health care would slide away as our care is secondary. It is bandaid and ASA. More people die from poor medical care and meds than any disease. We never had nosocomial infections like Mersa that take patient lives too often unnecsarily. Every case should be a law suit. No nasal swabs requured by staff who can be carriers with no sx. Too costly.

I was asked to call 911 after being triaged by a nurse. The ambulance took me to the ER department. I was in and out of the ER within an hour: they did not care about my symptoms, the doctor just wanted me in and out as soon as possible. Unacceptable. Now I’m left with being mistreated and with my original symptoms of severe nausea, confusion and dizziness. Ridiculous.

I'm honestly disappointed with this hospital. My nephew who's a toddler has been coughing for more than 3 weeks and he was wheezing while breathing. This was the second time I had to bring him within 2 weeks. The DR wouldn't prescribe him antibiotics, saying he's okay. She also said she couldn't do anything about taking away his cough & only prescribed an inhaler. Well! Come to find out my nephew has Strep throat! I'm am beyond livid and will never come back to this ER. They didn't even bother to test him for strep throat either. I took him to a different DR the next day who confirmed that a strep test may come back negative but can take an additional 2 days to be cultured showing positive since there's diff groups of strep. He looked in my nephew's throat and can see he does have strep! How this was missed is insane? They even took an x-ray, saying there was no infection when there was! My poor baby suffered for a long time due to this. This other doctor prescribed antibiotics & finally my nephew is doing better. Again, beware!

BEWARE! My step dad went in and they completely wrote him off saying he just had a hernia. 2 weeks later we find out they missed he actually has bladder cancer. Medical β€œprofessionals” are worse than lawyers. Snakes and sharks.

I moved here from Texas and did not have a Doctor yet for various conditions. I have come to the ER twice since I haven’t gotten into a specialist yet. Both times the wait was under 10 minutes. I came between 8 and 9 am both times. The staff was extremely kind and professional. Doctors listen and take time to help. Nurses were excellent. Highly recommend.

The staff was very caring and more thorough than the last ER I was in a week (ish) ago. ER nurse Cassandra in particular was an absolute angel. They ran a CT and treated my gastritis symptoms but, as I've noticed every time I've gone to the hospital in NM- you have to read the CT test results yourself in order to get the whole picture. There was another condition discovered by it that was not discussed with me, but since I was able to pull up and read the results on MyChart, I was able to schedule a doctors appointment.

Waited to be seen for 4 hours only to be briefly looked at for not even 5 minutes and told I needed to see a dermatologist if I wanted actual help. Even with a very painful rash nothing was done to help.

This ER has always been a bit off. It seems as if they want you in and out as soon as possible and dont even send you home with any medication to help the illness.

Went in due to extreme vertigo conditiond.given a CT scan blood work and a ekg. They started an IV because of mild dehydration and forgot to turn it on. Then given Valium and discharged without checking on my condition. Is it really safe to discharge a patient that's unstable and disoriented from virtigo?

So far the triage nurse gave me the look like I had 10 heads when I told her my father has been hospitalized 5 previous times and to call my mother. She gave me the look like I have 10 heads. Just not acceptable in any terms.
