Rio Grande Triangle Park

Dog park

👍 After losing my 17 year old best friend last year, feline Sophie, I accidentally adopted an 80lb, old soul, sort of an Eeyore type of fella. He was at the shelter and was so sad, not eating, just broke my heart. Fast forward a few months or so and the wonderful world of dog parks and puppachinos are... People often mention dogs, park, nice, people, great, water, small,

After losing my 17 year old best friend last year, feline Sophie, I accidentally adopted an 80lb, old soul, sort of an Eeyore type of fella. He was at the shelter and was so sad, not eating, just broke my heart. Fast forward a few months or so and the wonderful world of dog parks and puppachinos are now my daily routine. So, this park is pretty good. We've visited multiple days and times and have met a lot of different folks and other doggos. Mostly pretty great! Lots of water buckets, balls, chairs and benches, good space for canines and their people. Peanut (my dog) is an American Bulldog shelter rescue and is learning how to play and come out of his shell. The reception at Rio Grande Triangle Park has been 90% terrific. We'll be back. *photos - Peanut now, the cuddle bug. And Peanut adoption day!

Small dog park. Dogs had fun on a beautiful Sunday morning. Many dogs playing; owners doing laps. Near Tingley Beach and Albuquerque Country Club.

This was a great lil dog park. Went in the later afternoon to allow more shade from the trees. My dog enjoyed meeting the other dogs. The people as friendly as they were to each other didnt seem to like newcomers. Friendly to the dogs but not their humans. I assume its a group of people who make plans to meet up on a normal basis.

This park has a small turf area & plenty of room to run. There are two entrances, one entrance for the little dog area that’s fenced off, and another for the rest of the dogs to enter. There’s a gate from the small dog area to the big dog area as well. Plenty of water & tennis balls galore.

We're visiting with my dog from the midwest. The dog park was pretty nice except that there was no grass and the turf was pretty worn. I liked the walking path along the outer edge of the park for humans and dogs alike. There was only one picnic table under shade but otherwise benches and plastic outdoor chairs are strewn throughout for extra seating. There's a water fountain for humans and dogs, and also a baby pool by the spigot to keep the pups cool. There was one unruly dog there but people seemed to keep their pets in check for the most part. The latches on the gates are also a very efficient way to secure the park without much chance of damage, unlike other parks I've been to.

Closed for construction Wonderful old trees gone. My future progeny will enjoy a nicely shaded dog park. I'm betting not as beautiful as the elms across the street.

Thug park , more like it. Some reason it has a different feel. I've been to roughly 20 parks in 10 states but for some reason the dogs here are like , well, thugs. Fighting each other, running wild in packs, it's crazy. It's to small for that for one thing and dusty. So, I started going later at night. It does stay open till 10 pm and it has lights. Adequate parking and shade in the summer.

We had fun at the dog park today. Th facility is fairly small but very nice. The people who bring their dogs don't always do a great job watching their dogs, so scuffles don't get broken up quickly. The majority of people and dogs are very nice though!

Idk about this park. Park doesn't really specify if it's for big or small dogs. Some owners of dogs didn't have the big dogs on their leashes and didn't seperate their big dogs from the small ones. I didn't feel comfortable putting my dog down. So we chilled outside the fence away from the other dogs.

This is a nice dog park with nice patrons and amazingly well behaved canines who just want to have fun. It's clean and they have plenty of water buckets. Patrons assiduously police their pet's poop. I ❤️ it!

A great, chill little place to let your dog socialize. And sometimes you’re really lucky, a DJ comes and plays nineties hip hop and r&b. Seriously. It’s magic.

Could use more shade but great safe place for dogs to run with multiple areas and safety entrances. Pump water available and a kiddie pool. Good place to stop with your fur bud if you are in the area
