50/50 Coffee House

Cafe Coffee shop Catering service

😐 I visited during the daytime, evening experience may be different. 50/50 has a nice ambience but the operation seems like it hasn't fully grown into it. The menu needs to be accessed online, according to the blackboard which could fit the menu except that it has a giant notice that the menu needs to... People often mention coffee, great, menu,

I visited during the daytime, evening experience may be different. 50/50 has a nice ambience but the operation seems like it hasn't fully grown into it. The menu needs to be accessed online, according to the blackboard which could fit the menu except that it has a giant notice that the menu needs to be accessed online. Pastries seem to be from Costco or Sam's, but the food from the kitchen is fresh and tasty. Both my and my friend's orders were incorrect, but the food we were served was good quality. There is a large assortment of tea but the coffee was generic Folgers or whatever. Staff was polite but seemed to be pulled in too many directions at once. Great local art is on display and for sale at reasonable prices. For some reason customers aren't supposed to park behind the building. There are signs everywhere saying that you're not allowed to park there. Street side metered parking is available.

I went there to get brunch, It was empty but I waited more than 30 min for a simple meal that was not cheap at all. The food was tasty amd really liked the coffee but I honestly don’t see the point of tipping when you pay in advance, cashier was whatever with her attention and eventho she wasn’t busy and it was empty we had to pick our own plates from the bar.

Customer service was phenomenal. The atmosphere was great too, board games for people to play, space around the tables, music was set for the mood, and the art was absolutely divine. Then the food brought it all together. I had a delicious burger, cooked to perfection. I will definitely go back!

So a friend put us on to the newly opened place that's half pub half coffee house. And guess what they got food! So on entering we were met with a very happy and helpful staff that allowed us to sit on the patio area with the dogs 💯👌 score one for the pooches. The iced mocha was "bomb" according to my companion. The environment is awesome and the choice of music is even better. We only had few minor set backs when getting our food but the staff was great and quickly rectified the issue. So over all I think a great place and much needed new spot on Central across from campus. So I say stroll over if your a student or walking around near yale. There something new give it a try.

It was an okay experience. The food seemed to be bought from sams or Costco, and the burrito I got wasn’t that good and ended up making me sick. Beautiful atmosphere, and don’t know how to feel about having a four dollar microwaved muffin from sams club. Overall, cute place and nice local art.

Absolutely Loved the concept and menu.. however all items we ate for breakfast were drenched w the cooking oil they use which I assume is canola or vegetable or whatever is cheapest (and least healthy). Even the scrambled eggs I had to wipe off with napkins…didn’t add to flavor, just wasteline and liver taxation. If they can dial that down they will be top notch. We had turkey bacon (soaked), scrambled eggs (yep) , crossiant French toast (also drenched) , and breakfast burrito . But the coffee we had was great! After first go, I wouldn’t go again unless the oil changes. Their menu is filled with wonderful “healthy” dish alternatives to the average breakfast place, but add cups of oil and concept goes out the door.

The Good: Atmosphere is impeccable. Super chill, spacious, and lively. The Bad: Food is mediocre. I ordered a chai latte that tasted like tap water. For $6+ for a medium chai, it was absolutely not worth it and I could've made the same thing at home but tastier and cheaper. My friends also believed the food could have been better. Really rooting for this place since it's a great spot to invite friends and to have nice functions, but I really, really suggest they do an honest assessment of their foods and beverages.

30 dollars for a shrimp po'boy and a coffee? And you can't even de-tail the shrimp properly? If you want to charge Michelan star prices, you should have the quality to justify it. I could have fed a family of four for that price, and at least they would have all been full of GOOD food and happy.

Calm, laid back and chill. What more does an early twenty something adult need? I’m writing this review as I’m here on a Saturday at 2pm. Come get a brew and turkey sandwich, a chai latte, or chocolate croissant .. It’s a blend between a local cafe and a low key place to get a beer. I was wondering how this space was going to come back to life after the Lobo pizza beer place prior failed... Let me say, this new coffee house pub vibe is a great turn over. Thank you 50/50!!!

The first time I got coffee here was great and the lady did great with my iced coffee. Today however was different. The guy who was working did not have any training on how to make coffee it seems. I ordered the same thing as I ordered thr first time. Iced mocha with a flavor shot. He made it by steaming the milk which you're not suppose to do with iced coffee, which made it Lukewarm with a few ice cubes added. I instructed him again not the steam the milk, he got irritated with me and took it back. The third time, he didn't bother adding my flavor. Fourth mistake which he didn't bother putting ice cubes in it. I didn't like his attitude so I just left without asking for ice cubes. Not very good customer service skills. I'll happily come back again but not if he is the one working.

The menu is a bit difficult to read for dietary restrictions but this was the best lavender latte and the best fries I've ever had!

Ordered from their food truck at an event. They were completely overwhelmed and we never got our food. When our credit card company contacted them, they refused to refund the money we had already paid ($50!!). Saw them taking orders after ours as well, doubt those people ever got their food either.

Great fried chicken options in Albuquerque. Didn't realize they had fried chicken. So I will be eating here a lot more. Alot of other friend chicken played in Albuquerque don't have naked wings as an option. It's good to find a soul food place in Albuquerque with healthy food options

their food truck on Kirtland has great food and drinks. My only complaint is the wait time. I waited 25 minutes for a breakfast burrito (which was really good but still).
