Don't get the sushi. I've ordered take out a few times now and every time the rice is absolute s***. That's not sushi rice, it's literally plain (kind of dried out) white rice with no vinegar mixed in at all. Do these look properly rolled to you??

Atmosphere is always great and clean. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. This restaurant has not failed us yet. We were seated immediately and give soup and waters very quickly. The portions are so big and tends to be a lot of food for one. We shared a filet mignon steak and scallops plate and it was perfect. Our chef was fun and had used some new techniques with the eggs. Meal was great we ran out of water a few times.

This was a wonderful experience. The sushi was fresh and delicious with various flavors and options. The fried rice is equally delicious. Children's chicken nuggets are delicious as well. Limited on the drinks options. The patio area was nice and we were the only ones in that area which was nice with this Covid. Definitely we will go back again. Excellent service by our waiter DJ.

Service was good. Entree was ok at best. Tempura appetizer was great. Server didn’t ask how I want my steak. It was tough and overcooked. I ordered an NY strip but there was no fat cap on it so it was even more dry. Shrimp was over cooked as well and was rubbery. Woman’s hand soap was low in ladies room, my wife said. I don’t feel it was worth the price for the lunch entree compared to quality of the meal. Tasted good but was tough and overcooked all around and I felt the steak was on the small side. My wife’s salmon was good. As a steak lover, I look for things like a good fat cap on an NY strip. Knowing it’s a little more lean, it shouldn’t be cooked well done unless requested. We came for our 17th marriage anniversary. A little disappointed and unsatisfied.

I got the Yakiniku Course A (Japanese "Taste of BBQ") which included chicken garlic yuzu, miso sukiyaki steak, New York steak, beef brisket, pork belly, and seasonal vegetables. I was unsure how long to cook the vegetables, so I just threw them on as soon as the grill was turned on and kept flipping them until they softened up, which seemed to work. The rice and noodle combo was in good proportions with the meat, and the amount of food seemed reasonable for the price. The service was good and friendly, and the restaurant was just starting to get busy when I arrived but I still got a table immediately.

Nice outdoor seating, good menu choices, friendly and helpful wait staff. I was able to order a sushi roll that is not on the menu and was told they can make anything I want as long as they have the ingredients. I ordered pickled daikon roll (oshinko) with their crazy roll and tiger tears roll. All very tasty but I must admit our sushi rice was a bit over cooked and almost soggy. I do not think this is normal even though I've never been here before. I would come back and try again.

Well it was disappointing. The chicken hibachi was chicken thigh not chicken breast. The server was nice but her service was not very good. I got my sushi when everyone finished their food, we didn’t get our silverware until I asked the sushi chef, got our order wrong for the kid (and was still charged for it), when we walked in we were not explained that we could make our own barbecue or just have it make by grill. We felt very rushed. The food was not very good. I would not give them a second chance unfortunately. Bright side was our nice server gave the kids a free soda.

Was in town for business and went looking for a good place to eat though it was getting late. We found this place just in time before they were closing and they did an amazing job creating a few different sushi rolls for us. The rainbow roll was cool with different colors and fresh fish. The edamame appetizer was nicely done as was the green tea. Our server was very nice and we had a great time. Definitely recommend!

Today this restaurant won the coin toss in the " try something new " adventure. And the coin did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our service was amazing, and the sushi was PHENOMENAL! I highly recommend the Crazy Monkey Roll, the Ultimate Shrimp Cruch Roll, the Red Devil Roll ( I really LOVE this roll lol) and of course you have to try the Takumi Roll. If you're wanting to try a new place for sushi, give this place a definite try.

Nice people, clean. Food dull. Curry tasted like McCormick curry powder. Fried chicken was tough and overcooked. Coming back to try the Hibachi. The corner of the plastic table top was broken an d very sharp.

Food here is amazing highly recommend. We are a family of three and have been here many time as well with friends. Food is delicious and you can ask for less salt if you don't like lots of salt. We usually order Hibachi Salmon, Steak and Shrimp, or Sushi. All freshly made in fronts of us with a great chef show. Thank you Takumi look forward to coming in again.

Had a fun, delicious tapan dinner experience here. Large serving of lobster and scallops for the entree and a yummy sushi roll for an appetizer. Mango beer was great. Used synergy gift card here. Entertaining and fun chef

1st experience: We got the Pirate Ship (Shabu Shabu) which is seafood hotpot. We also got the sushi combination. The hotpot order comes with a miso broth and a beef broth to cook in. It was delicious, fun, and easy to do. It comes with tongs and two types of ladies (one with slots) if you want broth or not. The waitress was kind and informative, she walked us through which foods to cook first in order to have the best timing. edit 11/2022: I hace reduced our rating for Takumi despite being a long time patron. We love coming here for date night and other nice nights out. Today we requested a table for shabu shabu and were told they had none available at this time 7pm on a saturday table. OK, so we asked for a sushi only table (no need for tabletop grill or hot pot). We were told it would be an hour wait. We waited in the car for a full 60 minutes before asking for an update. My bf noticed they had crossed our name and phone off the list and served about 10 people after us. We ultimately never received a call and they scrambled to seat us. It was very frustrating to sit in the cold car, hungry, waiting for the call only to realize they'd marked us off a long time ago. Especially since it was a party of 2 for a non specialty table which should be easier to accommodate. The manager and chef were kind and she arranged for a specialty chef performance for us with a small discount off our bill. At that point it was awkward because all the large tables around has had been served and we wanted sushi in the first place, not hibachi. I really want to return and have a good experience but I'm afraid of the hostesses, and this experience left a sour taste in our mouth. It's not cheap and we work hard for our money so we expect to be treated decently and not forgotten/ignored. I will say the manager was very attentive through our meal to ensure we had a nice experience after being seated which we appreciate. Just make sure you're babysitting the clock if you decide to eat here.

This is a beautiful restaurant! The ambiance is lovely and the service is always amazing! I got the kissing roll because I love salmon and it was incredible! I also tried the beef noodles, scallops and the ultimate crunch roll and everything was amazing! It is pricey but very much worth it! I hope to try more soon!

I was excited to eat at this location but they need to get their kitchen managed properly. Waited over an hour for ONE sushi roll. Never received said roll. Watched multiple other patrons get their dishes while I sat and waited, never even heard from my server until I complained to other staff. The food we did receive was cold and incorrect from what I ordered. They didn't fail to charge me for the fried rice I never received. Never offered to comp the meal or even the appetizers. Warned some folks at the door and they left too. Watched them walk out a few minutes later. Had high hopes, but never again.

Dinner date with my bestie at this place! We just got sushi and it was awesome! I had the sushi roll that comes out with a little bit of flames on the plate. We loved our food and the server was super nice!

First time coming here. We really liked it. Service was good, food was good. My husband and I had a nice time and enjoyed ourselves. No complaints at all and would absolutely come again.

We love this place!! Beautiful Asian decor- great Japanese draft beers and sushi is superb!! Due to rapid turnover service can be a bit slow….

This is a nice restaurant. The food is good and the service is great. The only downside was I had no idea what to order. I wish the menu had images of the food as it was hard to know what the portion size was for each item.

Delicious, quick, and friendly service. My server even ran my leftovers, which I forgot on the table, out to my truck!! Perfect pit stop for an uptown shopping day.

UPDATE: We forgot thatvwe had been here before and Im glad we gave it another chance. The food was very tasty and well prepared. Service is still slow but worth the wait. Poorly service. We had to ask for our rice, desert and drink refills. Our table was covered in dish's and none were removed to ease the very crowded table. The food was good but the poor service and price makes this a no go for future visits.

Service could’ve been a little more attentive. Two tables sat with dirty dishes for atleast 10-15 minutes. Food was good overall. No major complaints. Portions were of a good size as well. Would recommend.
