Ordered the pork cutlet curry, portion size was very generous :) I enjoyed the crunchy texture of the fried pork cutlet and the curry was seasoned well in my opinion. The miso soup was overly sweet and service was a bit slow, but everything else was great! Update: Came back and ordered the Red Bull sushi roll and Gin and Yuzu cocktail. Everything was delicious and service was awesome this time :) highly recommend the Plum Fashion cocktail as well! Great place to have dinner with friends.

This is the best sushi and ramen I’ve had in town! I have tried a few places but this is where I will be returning to! Dani recommended the spicy ramen, and the two others were creations of the head chef. Everything was excellent!

Went here for the 1st time a few days ago. Everything was going good until I got served the worst cut salmon nigiri I have ever had. I ordered one piece to make sure it was good before ordering more. The 1st piece was perfect so I ordered 2 more. The next 2 were cut WITH the grain instead of against it which makes it chewy. I have never been served salmon nigiri like this before. I told the waitress and she took the piece I had left back to the chef and she came back with it and said the chef told her he always cuts it like that. No one offered to take it off the bill or remake it for me. The sushi chef needs to go back to Sushi 101! I will attach a photo

Food was delicious but portions were small. Had beef Udon noodles, beef teriyaki roll, spam masabi, and miso soup. I really enjoyed the spam masabi and wish there were more than 4 pieces. Service was good but not great. I still would return as a customer. 2/18/23 - Returned and everything was great. Had the seafood Udon while my guests had the chicken Bento Box, and Ramen Soup. We all shared the Spam Musubi and Tempura Shrimp Roll. Service was wonderful and good was satisfying. Can't wait for my next visit

Tamashi has easily become one of my local faves. The spicy 🌶️ ramen is so good and never disappoints. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed the sushi. The servers are also very kind and helpful. Highly recommend and looking forward to my next visit!

Outstanding restaurant. A great find in the state of New Mexico that lacks quality seafood. Service was friendly, seating was readily available, although I imagine this place is busy as a bee hive in the evening. Alcohol is available, and first impression of the wine list was what sold me on eating here. Definitely will be back!

Me and my wife are here right now. This place is great in many different ways. The interior is nice and everything is pretty. The people who work here are amazing as well. The sushi chef walkes over and gave us some salmon belly to try out. It was so tasty, we ended up ordering 2 more pieces although we were full. I would come back to this place on a regular basis. I definitely recommend people to come try out their sushi because the quality is phenomenal!

So good. Absolutely loved our lunch here. The environment was casual and comfortable. The music was upbeat and pleasant. The food looked and tasted great. Our favorites were the jalapeño bomb appetizer, hirame carpaccio chefs sashimi, and the blow pop roll. The sashimi was fresh and melted in your mouth. The banana fried ice cream was the prefect way to end the meal. 100% will come back. We're already planning what we're going to try the next time we come. I highly recommend you give Tamashi a try!

The 15 piece Sashimi was excellent! The spicy scallops and ikageso were delicious. The plum fashioned was sweet, but I am not sure if I would order this drink again.The service was friendly and efficient. The space was welcoming and we really enjoyed our food.

Absolutely fantastic! The staff was friendly, the fish was very fresh, and there were a ton of options! They also have beer on tap and the traditional Japanese spirits. Highly recommend the sashimi.

The options are the usual but the food isn't. I had the Spider Roll and it is the best that I have had here in New Mexico. The spiced noodles with pork is wonderful with the spicy heat at the perfect level. We have this restaurant on our fav list now!

The portions and prices are pretty good. The sushi rolls come with a good amount of fish and they are flexible with the orders. I asked for masago to be added to my rolls and they were very accommodating. Good service as well.

Food and service was a great experience. Sushi was super impressive with the Vegas Roll and Scallop Island! Vegas Roll is the one in the photo! Emma was our server and she was very kind.

What a great place to grab a meal and catch up with an old friend! Not only is the food amazing, but the restaurant staff took the experience over the top. In a world full of chain restaurants with worn out servers, Tamashi just does things differently. Each and every server made sure to check in on us regularly throughout our dining experience. Always with a smile on their face and joy in their voice. This was truly a restaurant “team” in every sense of the word! Now to the food. The sushi rolls were so good that we ordered another round! Nothing disappointed and everything was clearly made fresh. The green tea was just what we needed to settle into edamame as a starter. There’s much more to the menu that unfortunately we weren’t able to explore. Another time perhaps!

First time here. Wow this place was great! The sushi was delicious. I ordered the Mellow Yellow Roll and Sesame Street both equally great. Definitely fresh for NM. I definitely recommend this sushi spot.

We ordered the Sushi Combo 2 and the Shishito Peppers. The sushi was good. However, some of the pieces were chewy. The Shishito Peppers were delish!

This place was busy Friday night (always a good sign) and our food still came out super fast. Staff is friendly and always came around with smiles. Vibes in the restaurant are great cause everyone is enjoying the food and having a good time. :) I get the Blow Pop roll every time but we tried the tempura today and it was excellent! Get a jalapeño bomb while you’re here, too 👀

Excellent service, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Gluten free menu page available. Items not marked. We asked lots of questions and the servers were very patient and double checked. The food was delicious! The fresh rolls were able to be made gluten free, we had the single sushi and salmon roll. Wasabi not gluten free. The food was prepared with care. They have gluten free soy sauce available

My wife and I have dined here on multiple occasions. We love the staff, ambiance, and of-course the food. Absolutely fantastic sushi and sake restaurant. You cannot go wrong with the Blow Pop. Many different options and all of them are delicious. Staff is very attentive and polite. Very quick service as well. One of our favorite restaurants in ABQ.

One of our favorite sushi spots in ABQ. The sushi is great and always fresh. The sashimi is a great cut and size for the value, unlike most other places. The staff is nice but sometimes it’s hit or miss. Some of the sushi chefs aren’t particularly friendly and we usually always sit at the bar. But the new sushi chef in training Lena was really friendly and even told us about the new catering menu. I think also the one of the owners walked in while we were sitting at the bar, he wasn’t really friendly to us either but oh well. We like the sushi there.

The teddy roll is amazing! I substituted the seared tuna with raw tuna besucase I don’t like seared tuna and I think this is my favorite roll in Albuquerque now. I also got the ramen with beef. It was good but I would skip the beef if I were you. It didn’t taste good. Service was very attentive and friendly.

Amazing sushi and the best Uni I have had outside Japan and Hawaii. Really good appetizers and the largest bowl of unagi I have seen for the price. They have sushi, sashimi, noodle dishes, baked dishes, donburi and bento. Little pricey but worth every dollar.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal here. The sushi was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had in this town, and the udon was amazing. We want to come back and try more rolls!
