Good food but wait staff could have been a bit more attentive. It is a cute place though, and seems clean.

Avoid this place sad because usually places like this are really great to eat at but not this one food is less then mediocre barely edible. Bathrooms seem like they have not been cleaned for a week. Just so sad. Ten thumbs down 👎 sorry not being negative just being honest.

Cool local diner with awesome breakfast selection, as well as great diner grub. Biscuits and gravy were awesome... the biscuits were crumbly like a rich cornbread texture, and the gravy was excellent and amply supplied. Would definitely come back and try more off their menu.

Loved this diner so much. Service was good, food was amazing and the environment was definitely a diner feel. Definitely check it out.

It's definitely gone down hill. The enchiladas tasted strange. The fried shrimp were of poor quality. Great chicken sandwich, the fries not so much. The restaurant across the street was closed so I believe most of their foot traffic ended up here causing a massive service delay. Our waitress was also mediocre at best. Prices are fair but I won't be back.

Went here for breakfast and at first everything seemed fine. The longer I sat in there, the more red flags I saw. Me and my peers ordered orange juice and it tasted sour and looked clumpy in the cup. I will say they did take this off of our bill with no pushback so that’s good. The only reason they got two stars was because the food was decent. But that’s all it was… DECENT. If I wasn’t hungover and hungry I probably would of got up and left the plate sitting there. Also from where I was sitting, I could see the cooks in the back throwing items in and out of the microwave. I understand that some places do this but I recommend to move it away from the window because it gives a bad look for the establishment. The restaurant also doesn’t seem properly maintained in cleanliness and the staff look like they dont even want to be there. Hope this review gives them a reason to step up their game!

The “ Boneless Wings” are chicken tenders that are definitely not made fresh. Absolutely no flavor, and taste as if they came from sonic. Dissatisfaction.

The food was bland, the pancakes are somehow chewy and not fluffy, I was the only person in the restaurant for an hour and had to ask for my coffee to be refilled twice, kind of ridiculous considering. I also never see it super busy, so I'm surprised they are still around. I would take the time to go west into old town and eat at Central grill instead.

Took over 40 minutes to get our food. The food itself was overpriced and burnt. The hashbrowns that came with my meal were burnt and crumbling, the meat as well was black and falling apart. The cooks also forgot a side that came with the meal. Do not recommend spending your time or money on this place, especially when only paid parking is available.

Unfortunately we have no idea the food is good or bad. Walked in a Saturday at 12pm and there were maybe 4 table being occupied. The waitress said she would be right with us. We waited over 15mins. The place was empty. We left. Maybe a wait time or let us know your planning on seating us.

This place has a Burque style for sure. The food is not excellent, the coffee is brown water. If you have a few beers in u or a hangover then the food will be great and a good value.

This is poor quality management, food, service,”with the customer is never right mentality!” The $22 Gyros with extra meat, was so over cooked it had no moisture left, or flavor, then a minute tetziki sauce, lettuce that was dry as well as the tomatoes, which had sat in the cooler prepared. The tap beer tasted like trash, as if the lines needed replaced, staff are always on their phones, & get annoyed if you interrupt! And that’s just the obvious stuff. Oh don’t forget your gyros n fries are served with jalapeño fake cheese sauce out of a can, the pies look to old and gross to try...

Stopped in after walking the Fourth St portion of Rte 66. Had the Mother Clucker and Fries. Very good meal and the owner and staff very welcoming.

Got a late lunch here. Burger was sooooo delicious. Fried could be a bit less greasy but still good. Horchata was fantastic.

Delicious! I had the mushroom and cheese burger which was huge and juicy, and the fries were very well seasoned and hot. Lot of food for your money. My companion enjoyed the Reuben a lot. I'll definitely have to go back to try other things. Their breakfast options also look good.

Very disappointing! Lindy’s is no longer what it used to be. Why ask how we want our burger temp. Asked for medium and got well done. Server forgot to put in our appetizer and had to get up to obtain napkins for our dine in. We took two to three bites of our meal which was not satisfactory. The iced tea tasted awful as if it was old or they don’t clean the container it is made from. After reminding about our appetizer, that also was disappointing. Not the lindy’s we remember. Was given a 10% discount for a terrible experience. Took the burgers home to give to our dog.

Absolutely amazing breakfast. I had the cowboy breakfast and it was wonderful. Huge pancakes. Service was superior. Highly recommend Lindy’s.

Lindy's is a fun alternative to the food court across the street, if you have a little extra time. Quaint, old fashioned Diner Style. Food was excellent. The service was friendly but slow.

The food is amazing! The inconsistency of their hours is probably the most frustrating. And the staff could be a little bit friendlier. But aside from that the food is awesome and will be back.

I wasn't super impressed the combination plate with red sauce was kind of flat a flavorless and my husband's CFS was about as large as my fist , I'm 5ft 2 inches tall so you canguess how large that is. The server while efficient wasn't super friendly and the tea tasted spoiled

We went here for breakfast. The food was pretty good, the service was good as well. The bacon was a bit under cooked but not bad. Will come back though and try lunch.

Lindy's Restaurant located at the apex of the corner of 5th Street and Central Street, with the front entrance facing diagonally outward towards Central, has some very worthwhile and delicious food!! Open late, late on weekends, for those downtown merry-makers, Lindy's "take-out" food will 'hit the spot' for anyone around!! For Thanksgiving, Lindy's showcased their genuine roots by giving away for free, a large Thanksgiving plate to any person who came inside and wanted or needed a dinner plate!! And let me tell you, it was absolutely scrumptious!!! Moist, tasty, and included ham and turkey, so juicy and tender, and melted right in your mouth!! Everything from the Sweet Potatoes/Yams to the soft, but not mushy stuffing, was on par with the best dinning out there... Impressive!! The atmosphere at Lindy's wasn't the reason for going there, so don't mind the attempt at the 1950's-esque environment. The long fronted bar seating seemed to have some vibrancy left, and if sitting down, would dine right there!! Otherwise, it's a tad drab and a tittle dull. The people and cooks are friendly, helpful and do their jobs, and do them well. No complaints there. All in all a ten out of ten!!! Go eat there and see for yourself!! God Bless!

Great place. Nostalgic. Owners were very nice. Food was great, and lots of it. Had the green chili cheeseburger. Giant burgers. Would love to go again

I was downtown at lunchtime and needed a wheelchair accessible place to grab a bite. Ordered the Lindy's Club Sandwich. Couldn't get an Arnold Palmer as they were out of Lemonade, had to settle for a Coke. Though it wasn't busy, my server seemed overwhelmed. The sandwich arrived, a toasted bun with mayo, turkey still dripping whatever that liquid is that it gets from sitting in the refrigerator (ever hear of patting the meat to remove excess moisture?) Flavorless guac spread over the meat, then a slice of bacon too long for the bun. I cut the bacon in half so it fit better, and removed the rubbery end. The other end was well cooked with a little char. The hand cut fries may be hand cut, but they tasted like they were fried in old grease. I couldn't taste anything but old grease. Finished eating and waited about five minutes for the server to come by with my check. Finally decided to take the rest of the coke to go. Rolled up to where my server was and asked for a to go cup. They didn't have any. Not worth the $15.

This diner does not look and feel like the standard diner, more like a bar that serves breakfast. A bit dingy, a bit disheveled. Feels a bit rough. The only thing that could be "diner" is the old coke machine. No shakes, no soda fountain. The service was par at best, there were a total of 6 patrons including the two of us and I had to find my own utensils and had to wave the server down for a second cup of coffee. The gal was not rude per se, but not a friendly word came out of her, not a smile, despite my many thank yous and please. The food is meh. Had the pancakes ($5.99), for sure out of the box, and the cowboy breakfast (chicken fried steak with green chili, eggs, and hash browns $10.99) which they advertise as their special. The best part was the hash browns, crispy on the outside. The chicken was dry, the breading was floury, the chili was no more than a glaze and definitely without much flavor. The prices were ok given the mediocrity of the food. This place overall was fair.

This is an iconic property, but that's just part of the story. I had breakfast here and loved it. Fresh ingredients, big portions, fair prices. They also have at least a dozen beers on draft.
