This is my favorite Village Inn location. Service is excellent, and the food is great. Servers come to your table as soon as you're seated, and the food is served quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast skillet. Everything was really good until close to my last bite when I bit into a potato that tasted like mold. It was disgusting and after that was afraid to finish the rest of my dish for fear of eating more moldy potatoes. Our waitress spent a lot of time visiting with customers at various tables instead of waiting on customers so service was slow. It didn't help that they were already short staffed. My sister had the all you can eat fish and it took half an hour at least to get her 2nd order. After that we gave up as we didn't want to spend all night waiting on food. I had good food and good service just a couple weeks prior so was really disappointed! First time in a very long time I haven't received good service and good food at this location. With the high cost of food I expect it all to edible.

Village Inn is open, as of March 11th when we visited. Every other booth was closed, but the tables were spaced about 6 feet apart. Every table was getting occupied as we left and the lobby was pretty crowded with guests waiting. I don't think the manager I'd following covid guidelines of 33% occupancy. The food was good as ever, I had a side of green Chile with my eggs and it was as hot as any Mexican restaurant I've been to! The coffee is weak, but hot! The service was really good compared to some more expensive restaurants I've eaten at lately, she came around at least 4 times making sure we were doing fine! Recommended!

Waitress was amazing! The staff was great all around! The food tasted amazing. The chili is made locally and delivered fresh every day. Was clean, felt comfortable eating inside.

I had the Chorizo Griddle and it was done very well. My wife's food on the other hand had to be sent back twice and after the last time she had to switch dishes. Our server was very apologetic and worked with us to get the dish right. The first dish my vegetarian wife had had meat in it. Like I said our server was very nice and really worked with us to get it just right. I would go back there.

What I find interesting is when I go to this restaurant in person and order eggs Benedict it’s delicious and cooked correctly. When I order it through Uber eats I get hard boiled eggs and raw hash browns. Every time. It’s almost like when you’re there in person and can hold them accountable they don’t want to play around with your food; but when you’re at home and can’t hold them accountable they want to take advantage of you and steal your money for food you’d never pay for and they would never have the nerve to serve you in person. I don’t want to hear about how they don’t like their jobs or don’t get paid enough either. I spent money I earned at the job I don’t like and don’t get paid enough at, for that inedible trash. Sending bad food out for delivery is theft. Period. I’d assume it was just accidental if it didn’t happen EVERY SINGLE TIME.

It’s been quite a long time since I’ve eaten at Village Inn and the food is just as delicious as I remember it being. It’s too bad that some of their locations went out of business, because I really liked eating at Village Inn on a regular basis. The service here is also very friendly and attentive, but I never understood why restaurants give people the check without asking them if they want dessert. I wish I could give them four and a half stars, but our experience was great other than that minor thing about not getting asked if we wanted dessert.

I called VI day before Thanksgiving to see if I could get an apple pie. I did not reserve one prior. The young man that answered the phone was extremely nice. Picked it up in 15 minutes and again everyone there was extremely nice, pleasant and helpful. This is the VI on Menaul and Wyoming. Great experience.

My wife ordered the steak meal and it was just ground beef smashed together and cooked... the mashed potatoes were literally instant made with the powder. The waiter forgot all the condiments including the salad and the ranch that came with it and only came around when called upon. The place wasn't busy at all maybe we just weren't welcome in this establishment 😕

Came by to see my friend. Had a slice of coconut cream pie and banana cream pie. Both were delicious. Fast and friendly service. Clean restaurant. Best pies for eating all year around. Make your reservations for pies for thanksgiving.

Very clean location with friendly staff. Ample parking since many of the businesses around it were closed or closed down completely. I had the peach pie a’la mode and it was just what I needed.

Joined a group of "Troops" meeting regularly. Waitress was fantastic! Coordinated and served over a dozen folk in a very timely way. Nary a mistake! OM eggs were "just right" as were the waffle and bacon. Gave myself away!! I overindulged but it was worth it! Thank you Village Inn, NE Wyoming at Menaul

I went in tonight wanting breakfast for dinner at the Wyoming location and it did not disappoint. The eggs were fluffy, bacon was crispy, and the hash browns perfectly cooked golden; the French toast and coffee fresh. The service was fantastic, and breakfast for dinner was a huge success!

This was last night around 6:30 the male waiter was so polite and attentive kept checking refills making sure we were good everything at this location was absolutely perfect we will definitely be back and it's nice to see an establishment like this do really well blowing high-priced places out of the water keep up the good work guys!

The food was really good. I had chicken fried steak and it was a good portion. Mom had bacon and scrambled egg, toast. Cooked right. Issue was slow start with service. Wasn't that busy to take so long to start the order.

My wife and I went there on Veterans Day. This is also our wedding anniversary. I got the breakfast that was offered for veterans which was the two plus two plus two meal. My wife ordered strawberry crepes. One thing I don't understand is on the two plus two plus two meal why can't I sub pancakes for toast? Who wants fried eggs with pancakes? You need toast for the yolk! I had to order my toast separate. My wife was not real happy with her crepes. It lacked topping. They we're very busy that day but the wait staff was good.

What happened today couldn't have been scripted. We went in as the lunch rush was finishing. I ordered a California skillet with bacon on the side. My SO got a chorizo skillet. When the food came, my food had bacon on it. My SO saw it, and it was sent back. When it came out again, we found two very small pieces of meat in it. I sent it back again, though in retrospect, it was only 2 very small pieces. So I got some French toast. Those were very good. So they did try and fix their mistakes, but they never took the bacon off the bill. Staff was friendly and helpful. I guess a vegetarian might be aware that the cooks use the same tools for the meat food as well as vegetarian food and small pieces might get into the vegetarian dish.

Staff was friendly and the food was decently priced, but those were about the only redeeming qualities. The eggs had to be sent back because I ordered over hard but received over easy, the Chocolate chip pancakes were meh at best, on top of which they tried to sneak a . 50 charge on my bill for them, the banana cream pie, while not "bad", had a weird texture to it. My glass was dirty. To his credit the manager did give me a discount and slice of pie for the issues.

Wow! Just waited on hold for five minutes. Lady told me "brief hold" I called back, said "I was left on hold for 5 minutes and forgotten about" she said, "oh, what do you need? " Damn, no, "I'm sorry" nothing. Just, "oh, what do you need" Wow! Great customer skills lady! 👌

The food was ok, though our order was messed up. Portions of our meals were missing. The staff was short with us. We ordered Cokes, and they were flat. When we mentioned it, we were told their machine was broken, but they brought them out anyway. Probably will not go back.

Visiting Albuquerque and found this restaurant to have breakfast. It was very good and I would recommend thier breakfast burrito with red sauce if you like spicy. The green chili sauce is delicious too!!

Great service but sadly the lemon meringue has changed. They’ve always had the best lemon meringue but I probably won’t buy it again. That’s very disappointing because it’s not easy to find a good lemon meringue.

Wont even give them one star but system won't let you post unless you do. Over the last 20 years I bet we have spent $1,000's of dollars at this Village Inn. Have never had such bad service, servers with attitudes, cooks who couldn't get the food right and/or servers who couldn't take the order correctly. Server brought coffee to our table when we told him that no one at the table ordered coffee it was a diet coke he choose to consider us rude, threw our straws on the table walked away. From that point the service just worse and worse.

The only reason they get a 2 is waitress was great. Food is not very good, overcooked yet again. Manager could seem to care less. Have given this place several opportunities. We are done, we will not be back.

Our server brought us a pitcher of near cold coffee twice, one of which only had a single mugs worth of coffee inside. Serving coffee from other tables is gross and extremely poor service. Our server, Jessica, did not check on us and brought the receipt with the food. We were rushed from beginning to end despite there only being a few tables occupied. Highly dissatisfied with the experience and will not return to this location.

There is something going on with their coconut cream pies at this location. I have purchased two and both taste sour whereas before they were the most delicious pies in the world. I bought the first one and it tasted sour and I thought it was a bad one so I threw it out, then I bought the second one and it also has this sour taste to it. I love their pies and before they used to make them on Wednesdays, so I showed up today (Thursday) to get a replacement. If you are coming to this particular location for a coconut cream pie I would suggest going to another village in due to this. I don’t know if they hired a new pie maker or if the original pie maker is losing their touch but after coming to this location for a long time I will unfortunately be trying the other village inns to see if I can find that original taste.
