I
have
been
a
loyal
customer
of
Starbucks
for
over
20
years
and
am
terribly
disappointed
and
appalled
by
how
I
was
treated
here;
especially
as
an
older
working
professional,
I
felt
dismissed
by
a
very
uncaring,
uncompassionate
team,
who
would
rather
risk
a
person’s
health
than
break
store
policy.
Due
to
an
awful
accident
on
i25,
all
lanes
were
closed
and
I
was
stuck
in
traffic
for
almost
2
hours.
I
am
65yo,
and
like
many
people
my
age,
I
simply
need
to
use
the
restroom
more
frequently.
I
pulled
off
of
i25
into
this
Starbucks,
and
respectfully
purchased
a
breakfast
sandwich
so
as
to
be
a
paying
customer,
and
then
asked
to
use
the
restroom.
I
was
told
the
restrooms
were
not
for
public
use.
I
told
them
I
understand,
but
it
was
an
emergency,
I
was
stuck
in
traffic
and
had
nowhere
to
go.
I
was
on
my
way
to
work,
wearing
a
suit,
with
my
military
personnel
badge—I
was
by
no
means
someone
looking
to
cause
trouble,
I
simply
was
having
a
restroom
emergency,
and
at
my
age,
it
really
is
an
emergency.
Despite
explaining
my
situation,
I
was
told
no
and
turned
away.
I
had
to
scramble
to
find
a
place
I
could
use
the
restroom.
I
am
very
disheartened
that
the
staff
felt
it
more
important
to
follow
store
policy
than
help
someone
(and
a
paying
loyal
customer
at
that).
I
am
saddened
to
say
that
I
feel
Starbucks
is
just
big
corporate
these
days,
and
don’t
really
care
about
people,
and
that
is
reflected
in
their
store
policies
and
employees.
They
have
lost
my
business.
I
would
rather
give
my
business
to
a
company
with
more
humane
values.
