Since they got a new manager, the customer service has improved.

LOBBY HOURS ARE 7am-7pm! So if you place a mobile order before 7am, you HAVE TO wait in the drive thru line to pick up. The opening Staff parks in the front due to safety precautions.

This location is bad for the standard Americano they skimp out on the normal amount of shots that are by default and NOT consistent with other Starbucks around the country. This hasn't just happened once but 3 times. Something is very odd how they are not anything remotely similar to the hundreds of Starbucks I've been to. The Americano they make taste like gas station coffee with no actual espresso and very thin AMERICANO HOPEFULLY THE LOCATION MANAGER READS THIS. Also would say the same thing at this Starbucks very close to this one. 4301 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110

Went to Keva Juice, but the highlight was the homeless camp directly across the side of the building doing their business with everyone to see. Probably never going back. Not something I want to see while trying to get an overpriced drink.

The door was locked when we got there. Their excuse was that they were short staffed, but yet people were inside. The employee seemed annoyed and looked like she didn't want to be there. Which made us wait longer to get our mobile order. Not a very good location. I do not recommend ordering from here.

Hmm, very young individual, with braces, in drive thru...what can I say, "she" was not attentive, nor did she speak up or clearly, maybe because of her braces, but clearly she has no customer courtesy or promptness, but she need some training. 👎👎👎👎

ALWAYS mess up my order. Very rude except for a couple of people who work there. These so called baristas could do better. It's not that hard to make a caramel macchiato with almond milk. They could learn a thing or two from the Rio rancho baristas @Cottonwood and the San Mateo location next to the Taco Cabana those guys know what their doing.

I was at this store on July 1. The moment my boyfriend and I walked into the store we were ignored. There were 3 employees working at that store and they all ignored us. We waited at the counter for about 10 minutes and that's when your employee named Sage who was working the drive through told us "we'll be with you soon" so we waited a few more minutes. Sage took our order and when she called me back to the counter to get the pastry I ordered she threw the pastry on the counter, gave me a dirty look, smirked and walked away. At the point I did not want to wait for our drinks so I asked for a refund. Again we were ignored, Sage turned around and looked at us and laughed at us and that's when your other employee Madison came to the counter and gave me a refund. It was the worst experience I have ever encountered at Starbucks. The store was not busy at the time so for us to be treated so rudely is not acceptable. We were never rude we were very patient and yet we were treated like trash.

I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for over 20 years and am terribly disappointed and appalled by how I was treated here; especially as an older working professional, I felt dismissed by a very uncaring, uncompassionate team, who would rather risk a person’s health than break store policy. Due to an awful accident on i25, all lanes were closed and I was stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours. I am 65yo, and like many people my age, I simply need to use the restroom more frequently. I pulled off of i25 into this Starbucks, and respectfully purchased a breakfast sandwich so as to be a paying customer, and then asked to use the restroom. I was told the restrooms were not for public use. I told them I understand, but it was an emergency, I was stuck in traffic and had nowhere to go. I was on my way to work, wearing a suit, with my military personnel badge—I was by no means someone looking to cause trouble, I simply was having a restroom emergency, and at my age, it really is an emergency. Despite explaining my situation, I was told no and turned away. I had to scramble to find a place I could use the restroom. I am very disheartened that the staff felt it more important to follow store policy than help someone (and a paying loyal customer at that). I am saddened to say that I feel Starbucks is just big corporate these days, and don’t really care about people, and that is reflected in their store policies and employees. They have lost my business. I would rather give my business to a company with more humane values.

This place is one of the fastest Starbucks I've been to I literally have 15 minutes to go to Starbucks 6 minutes to get there and 6 minutes back, by the time I get there my order is ready

Please make sure to check your account when you are told your card has declined

This place is hit or miss. But I like its location at the freeway interchange if I am heading home, from like shopping at Costco nearby. I provided additionsl comments in other ALBQ entries.

I have never been to a Starbucks because I don't like coffee. But, I found out they they make a vanilla Chai and I've been missing it since Dunkin stopped making them. The vanilla Chai was amazing and hot and was hot the entire time I drank it. It was delicious.

Came in on 11/30 around 1. Asked for decaf as I wanted to try a seasonal drink but am very caffeine sensitive. I also asked for sugar free. The woman at the window seemed bored and annoyed handing me my drink, and gave me a fully caffeinated, full-sugar drink. I had drank half of it before I realized the mistakes. I wouldn't have thought it was a big deal but it REALLY effected my sleep (there's a reason I asked for decaf). Had a negative experience at this branch unfortunately

Impressed by how friendly and helpful this team is. The store is beautiful and the baristas were fast and accurate in addition to being very kind and welcoming.

The bathroom was closed due to "too many biohazards." I've never had any restaurant say this. Does it mean that it's dirty and the staff didn't want to clean it? I ordered ahead and still had to wait 10 minutes. The coffee was just okay.

It's a kiva juice over priced juice that tastes pretty good with good service and clean location can't really ask for much else from a kiva location.

I get the same drink every single day, from multiple locations… and yet this one it always comes out different or taste wrong. I even told the drive thru girl it looked wrong and she asked “is it right on the sticker?” Like ummm if yall follow the same specs as the other locations I wouldn’t be saying it looks wrong. Horrible customer service.

Quick mobile order service. Small interior but nice view and atmosphere. Great vanilla latte

Update: If it's going to be mobile drive-thru only, then order ahead in the app should be available. It was not today, 11/1. A sign in the drive-thru outside said that as of 10/9/2023, this location was drive-thru, mobile ordering only.

Excellent service. Barista made my perfect coffee to taste, flavor, temperature! They are friendly and warm! Also, being from out of town, I commented on the Coffee mug (New Mexico momento) and they said it’s free! More than made my day already! Perfect start to the day!

I’m not giving this one star because of the coffee or the baristas. I’m only leaving this because of the terrible way the manager treats customers and the other employees. I was recently in Albuquerque and went to this Starbucks and ordered egg bites and a coffee. I was waiting for them and several food orders placed after me were served. I walked back up to the person who placed my order and asked about the egg bites. Here’s our exchange: Guy (I think his name was Jason): You didn’t order egg bites Me: I’m pretty sure I did Jason: You didn’t. Why do you think your order was so cheap? Me: I’m sorry, I didn’t notice the price, it’s early haha Jason: Well you didn’t Me: OK, can I order some egg bites Jason (sighs): Someone help this guy. I can’t deal with this The other team members were busy and no one jumped over immediately Jason (louder): I said I need someone else to help him A barista walks over and Jason walks away Her: I am so sorry, how can I help you? Me: I’d really just like to talk to your manager Her: That was my manager I am absolutely shocked at not only the way I was treated but also the way he treated his team. This is totally unlike anything I’ve ever seen at a Starbucks.

You need to put a sign at the start of the drive-thru line telling people to keep left and allow the righthand lane to be open for cars to get out of the lot. At the moment, everyone hogs both lanes and it’s extremely annoying when parking to get in and out of the lot.

Food and drinks are always amazing. But Emily had a really negative attitude. As I was asking questions she kept shaking her head no and not giving any explanations. Just saying no. It felt very rude and I wanted to leave. My friend got her drink and sandwich but I decided against ordering cause of Emily’s negative attitude. I do apologize for the negative review but I enjoy positive experiences and this was not one.

The long line of the drive through blocked the only parking. They made my drink cold when I ordered hot. Waited a while when I walked in. Pretty disappointing!

I ordered 2 chocolate croissants, a Lemmon loaf, 1 green tea macha mocha, and a Strawberry Frappuccino. One croissant was missing, and the cashier said only one was on the order. She said just one minute, she heated one up and gave it to me. She made my day.❤

Staff very friendly however my spouse and I entered the store slightly after 8:30am and we were the only customers there, yet the front parking spots were all full. We had to park on the side and were blocked in by all the cars backed up in the drive up and took forever to get out of our space. Employees should have to park at the back of the building to accommodate the customers.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich on route to AZ. Nabbed their yummy, LARGE, turkey-bacon & egg white breakfast sandwich. The location was clean, bright, very well staffed (I counted 5 employees). Friendly service. A good Starbucks experience.

This location is drive-thru only??? The door was locked for no reason and the staff ignored me at the door. It’s funny who some businesses and their employees make it hard to give them money. Never coming back

I mean I guess it's being a little too particular but if they needed to roast my coffee which was no problem, it's just that they didn't bring a coffee to me once it was roasted and I had to actually just get up and say hey. I'm here.

5/12/23 Update: I moved to Los Lunas a couple months ago but I was in the area and wanted to go inside today. I must say I'm quite impressed because everything was as if I never left! The high frequency environment and above-and-beyond level of personalized customer service makes me feel right at home every time and that's an amazing feeling that I'm sure many others also have the pleasure of experiencing! I've been tipping in the app because I rarely carry cash, but I'll bring some just for this location next time! Thanks again, I appreciate the entire team more than I could ever express 🙏🏼 Namaste 🕉️ -Daniel --- Since I moved to this area in June 2022, I've had the pleasure of enjoying several Starbucks locations. I drive for work and have found a few great ones, but I come to this one almost every single day! They know me not just by my name or my order, but also my voice when I go through the drive-thru 😎 There's something truly special about every single team member that keeps this place running and I'm blessed to interact with them as often as I do, even if it's only briefly 🙏🏼 Thanks for all you are, do, and give... I appreciate you! 🕉️ Keep up the amazing work and I'll see all your smiling faces again 😁 -Daniel

We only go here for brownies. They're pretty tasty for a store bought pastry. Service is always good.
