Don't come to this location if you are a decent human being. They treat everyone like criminals at this specific store. How about instead of talking with the cops the entire time. You're lp and door people can be doing their jobs and checking receipts or following shop lifters.. but no instead they would rather ban backpacks and be rude to the customers using them.. when just two months ago we were REQUIRED to bring our own bags. This location is ridiculous and leadership does nothing.

This place is the worst. No customer shopping carts and no bags available. The employees are rude. Try to avoid at all costs. I will say the homeless fights inside the store are entertaining. These are between the homeless and the store employees. I asked one door greeter if they had shopping carts and she said I would have to go take one from a homeless person on Central.

🙄 My fiance and I come here often because we love to cook and this is a great place to get ingredients to use in the kitchen 🍽❤. There's not much to say about this particular Wal-Mart, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. For the college students who want to venture up central to buy groceries, this is your best option. The produce is fresh, the deli is good and the bakery is great 🍉🍗🍞🖒. If you like to cook at home, this is a great place to come to.

Went to the Automotive Department to see if I could possibly return a battery. I never used the battery and had purchased it for my grandmother’s Ride-a-Lawn mower so I wanted to inquire about a possible refund or store credit. I didn’t even say more than 5 words to the manager before I was cut off and told that they don’t do returns on batteries, only if I purchased the warranty or just bought it Ike a day ago. I proceed to tell him that customer service told me to come speak with him, the auto department manager, to get the battery tested before they could issue me a refund. I guess I touched a sensitive subject for the gentleman because not only was I told that I was wrong and that customer service wouldn’t say that, but that I could have a great day and as me and my puppy were leaving in a very confused/angry mood. I was being watched as I left the store. I get people steal and are up to no good but the way I was treated for trying to maybe get some store credit was extremely rude and the disrespect I received from the manager was very confusing to me. I guess it’s cuz I had my hat backwards or something. Anyways I can speak for how their auto shop does on jobs for peoples cars, but for general conversation with a customer who has valid questions to be turned into a judgement of character is absurd. I get they deal with people stealing and plenty of other shady business but that ignorance and blatent disrespect towards a complete stranger is something WallyWorld needs to start making employees with anger issues go to therapy. Or even anger management. Anyways I’m done with the rant. I’m ok with my life so someone else’s misery won’t be affecting my good mood anytime soon.

Wal Mart just stresses me out everytime because it's always so crowded with rude customers, unknowledgeable employees and really annoying security personnel. I mean like really ignorant, untrained personnel. One was following me around, I am a middle aged woman just buying cat litter, and I personally saw two different individuals shoving items into their jackets or pants and the loss prevention person was oblivious. It's a sad sad thing that a senior citizen is more on top of what's going on inside the store than the stores own liss prevention. Pathetic. And everything is way overpriced. The cashier was rude, I tried to say " how you doing today" to make small talk but she just glared at me. It's a stupid place to spend money. You'd be better off just tossing your cash out the car window on the freeway

They keep everything locked up. I understand loss prevention but might be a good idea to have someone with a key close to the department. I asked for help 3 times and no one would help me. I won't be back. Very poor service

It took me over an hour to get my pick up order.I had employees telling me three different areas to park. My order was supposed to be ready for pick up 5pm to 6. I checked in at 5:10 and left at 6:15pm. Plus didn't get my cranberry sauce until Dec. 1 via fed ex It wasn't a very good shopping experience for pick up. I won't be going back there nor do pick up ever again.

This store is very clean and always well stocked. The pick-up Dept is always on point, never forgetting anything in my order. The grocery pick-up staff is super friendly, kind and very professional. The reason for three stars is the security. They are rude and treat everyone like a criminal, then boast among themselves about what happened. I have never had an issue with security but have seen them degrade customers and become very rude with them. It is very sad because rest of the staff are amazing. Please fix the rude attitude of security and you will have a 5 star store.

This store is so uncomfortable to shop at. the security follow you everywhere like if you were a thief. THEY HAD LIKE 3 different security guards following ME AROUND EVERYWHERE I WENT. everywhere. and it’s so uncomfortable like what.

I went shopping on Tuesday March 17th stores were stocked with most items. Store was clean. Cashiers and employees were helpful. Thank you continuing to stock shelves and a great attitude. Great job Walmart

Leaving me standing in the cold waiting an hour for an order during Xmas rush. Mgr's decision. He made fun of me and my hybrid car, which there was no spot for. Had to cancel the customer's order.

Surrounded by vagrants and addiction! They were unable to refill my Rx because they are going out of business next month. Pretty remarkable to see progressive politicos whine about access to free and fresh food, yet ignored systematic trouble, for days, weeks, months, years!! Local TV coverage of this store closing made no mention of encampments surrounding store, these stenographers are part of the problem 🤡. ABQride has 'extreme' staffing shortages, so very few buses. Free bus rides turned system into defacto homeless shelter, the drivers didn't sign up for that. Sad 😞

I'm glad this Walmart finally got it together and started locking everything up but it still doesn't deter the great population of homeless and thieves. remember never to leave anything in your car because they'll break in and steal it especially in that area be vigilant of everything around you and everyone. safe shopping there. Lock your doors!!!!!

The workers are constantly talking to each other and are avoiding people who don't know how to use the self-pay..the self pay area is constantly with long lines and are blocking other. shoppers are blocking the isles. They need to have a better system to keep the lines shorter.HEY Here's AN IDEA OPEN. ALL THE SELF PAY REGISTERS .HALF OF THEM ARE NOT BEING USED.

Today was the third time in a row this store was completely out of shopping cart. None! When I asked someone they said talk to management, they won't buy any. I am not sure how they expect people to do any shopping? Sorry, that's not my responsibility! I remember a time when Walmart actually cared that I chose to spend my money there. Not anymore. Well maybe management reads these because I am done shopping at Walmart. There are plenty of other options.

Very dangerous location almost car jacked/robbed in daylight. Store Is full of unsafe people, actively saw two incidents in the store of customers being followed or escorted out. Some staff are just as dangerous. Witnessed a staff be racist to a minority, then when I advocated for him. As a minority she did the same to me.Unsafe, poor customer service. I'm surprised considering all the violence it has not been shut down.

Crowded but easy to find stuff right now. Self checkout and speedy checkout both are available. No pet.

This Walmart is the absolute worst I've ever seen. Everything is locked up, you have to try and find help then wait for them and they stay right there and if you decide to buy, they take to the front, so when you check out, try to remember you have something else. And they have horrible customer service. Most of the employees are clueless about what there job is much less how to do it. They treat each person as if they are going to steel something and have someone on each isle watching. Not that it bothers me because I wouldn't steel, but it is quite annoying feeling someone watching you from the time you enter untill you walk out the door. Which if you look at it, from another point of view. They will be protecting us as well, right? And there selection for anything is terrible. Honestly the worst.

They never have cashiers or shopping carts and the checkout lines are really long. Expect a 30 minute wait to pay. The self checkout cashiers are rude and impatient. I try to avoid this Walmart as much as possible and that sucks because it’s the closest to my house. I end up coming here and always regret it. The one on Carlisle isn’t any better (probably why they’re both not on Yelp) just go somewhere else!

We decided carry-on luggage was necessary for the return trip. Walmart to the rescue. They had the exact rollaway bag that was required to get us home with all our goodies collected on this vacation. Never discount Walmart for having what you need when you need it, at a discount!

YHE SECURITY JUST CAME UP AND KNOCKED ON MY WINDOW SO HARD IT ALMOST BROKE THEN MADE FUN OF ME FOR BEING IN MY CAR ACCUSING ME OF SLEEPING IN MY CAR WHICH I WASN'T & CALLING ME HOMELESS AND LAUGHING, ETC. I will be speaking to my lawyer in the morning. Nothing about him is okay.

This walmart is a little limited in the things it has but it's better than most if you need assistance. Some Walmarts are understaffed or the employees have a lack of urgency or no care about the customer. This walmart is better in dealing with their customers. It is also the only one in their southernpart of Albuquerque. I found out the other day that this location is to be closed soon. I can't believe this. They want to close one of the only Walmarts I don't mind going to. I think everyone who reads this should let Walmart know they are making a mistake!

Who doesn't have a great experience with McDonald's. Kid atmosphere and your food is hot and ready. The fries are the reason why they have my attention.

They were helpful, and their return policy on items without receipt was exactly what i needed, I was at another Walmart two days before, the customer service agent was not only rude, she made it impossible to get my items returned, and actually reduced the price I got back! I'm sorry they have to deal with unscrupulous types who take advantage, because I definitely suffered for it!

I received my order with the pick up option. When I got home the deadbolt I received had no key and a dead roach called the store for solutions they answered 4x and kept hanging up on me. 2x operator 2x pickup. I need help with this. Order 2000102-37538703 don’t want a refund I want it replaced

Clean place with friendly service. The major problem with this store is the prices marked and the actual price. I saw and took pictures of over 30 mispriced items. I pointed out a few and they said sorry. They need to be honest with their customers and have accurate prices posted in the store.

Kinda too much going on here. Perhaps review inventory and see what is an absolute necessity to sell and what isn't. Cheap and useful finds like a laundry hamper and super soft throw blanket for the puppies. Otherwise, it's a bit of sensory overload.

One of the absolutely WORST Walmart in Albuquerque. Horrible Customer service... Wait there is no customer service... No bags... No shopping carts... If the Manager is reading these reviews, there is a huge homeless population sitting by the store and they are Shoplifting right in front of your store employees. A homeless guy with a backpack stop by one of the workers and started putting items in his backpack!!!! Unbelievable!! But paying customers can't even get decent customer services nor shopping bags... Will not be doing any shopping here.
