My personal favorite long time venue of Albuquerque. Never disappoints, whether going for a band I know or just popping in to see what's happening. Dive bar may come to mind when describing the place. A small dark bar two stories high. Below a stage, dance floor, and bar with affordable drinks. Upstairs pinball, pool, and seating. Familiar. Friendly, and low key.

No three beer limits and plenty of loud rock sounds. Best venue bathrooms in this weird town, too.

Frequent concert goer here. Launchpad is obviously one of the main venues in the area and although I have concerns, it has never stopped me from going here or reconsider it until last night. I'll start with the minor concerns: 1. The front door people are often rude, I get that events cause high anxiety and tension so I pay no mind, but they're vibe increases the anxiety for me. 2. The girls restroom has a huge gap between the handicap stall and middle stall, no privacy in the handicap stall. 3. I think the sound system needs to be upgraded. 4. The major concern from last night was that during a light mosh session, I witnessed a female get violently punched in the face by a man. She was hurt and even with the crowd pointing him out, he was not escorted out or any consequences period. I feel more security or action in this type of scenario is very necessary. I didn't feel safe with him still standing there enjoying the show. I still love the place, and the amazing vibe and shows. Music is my life but I feel that solutions need to be discussed. Thanks for reading my rant . I have to add that I appreciate this place for hosting the bands we love and the bartenders are awesome with their service and great drinks. That is all.

First time coming to Lunchpad to see Demon Hunter. Venue is too small for a band like Demon Hunter. Between the merch stand and all the people, we couldn't find a place to see the band, both main floor and top floor viewing area were packed. All we we're able to do was sit at a table on the top floor and listened. If I wanted an experience like this, I would just got to a bar, play pool, and listen to my ear pods at full value. Very disappointed in the venue size..., don't plan on returning...

I like this venue for the most part. It's small and intimate, which is honestly fantastic. The sound there isn't great, though: you can barely ever hear a lead singer's vocals due to the amped up bass of the speakers. I haven't had any issues with staff, and so far it's been easy to get in the door.

Excellent place to hear your favorite band or discover your new favorite band. Cement floors, cold beers and an awesome staff. I had an excellent time.

Shows here are great! It allows an intimate experience between the fans and the band. Often, band members are at the merch table. There's rarely an excessive line to get merch as well. I dont have to miss out on a set just to get merchandise. The sound is great, and it's never too congested here. I tend to have better concert experiences here rather than the other venues in town.

Have always had good experiences here! The bands that come through are great and it's a nice, small, intimate venue. The bar is fun and honestly has reasonable prices for a concert venue. The upstairs provides a cool view and has some games and billiards. I believe most shows are all ages, but underage have to enter in the back so they can't get to the bar. Kinda strange way to do it, but it works. Interesting that they don't have as much in the way of security as other venues, but I'm sure they'd search bags, maybe?

Super cool venue, especially when Cousin Ivy is playing. They are the best new band in the 505.

First time being in there. I've been in The El Rey next door a couple of times. Nice venue. Go there again when a band comes through town.

Went to see arise roots reggae concert. The parking was easy and free on the street. The venue was a small nice place. Bathrooms were clean for a bar scene. Drinks were reasonable in price. Loved the pin ball and pool table upstairs. Very good experience

This is not my first time coming to see a popular band. The last time I came here, it was to see Second Hand Serenade, and I remember the venue being bigger than this. Came to Demon Hunter, and so crowded, I can't even enjoy my childhood band. Opponent was good, Demon Hunter is great. Just wish I could've seen them.

Grungy small bar and small concert venue. I have been coming here for 20 years to watch local and smaller touring bands. Venue is small with stage in back and bar in front with the ability to host all ages concerts by separating the bar from stage area. Upstairs there's a couple pool tables, video games and pinball machines. Upstairs is also a great spot overlooking the crowd and stage. Quality of the sound here is always a concern. It's hit or miss depending how drunk the sound guy is. Drink specials are good. $4 PBR tall boys.

Awesome place. Great venue for bands. Great stage and sound system. Wish the bar was a little more educated or stocked for drinks but we don't really go there for the drinks.

Loved the shows I've been to here. Quality music. One evening, they had an Electric Wizard album playing before the live music, so even their pre-show music attests to their good taste haha. The staff seem calm and collected with the crowds. It's a venue that attracts varied audiences of different ages and styles. I prefer it over the somewhat larger venues.

Small little venue, very unique! First time in the city, as we just moved from Philadelphia, so was no sure what to expect. We’re use to having 5+ venues within walking distance in PHL, so curious how many other venues there are here in ABQ. This place was nice for maybe 100-200 people max, but I can’t imagine much more than that. Enjoyed our first time here, and hopefully more bands come through we’re interested in! ** First picture is parking directly in front** (about $5 for 5 hours, so assuming $1/hour average)

The bands that play here and the crowd are very welcoming and it feels like home whenever I go. The staff are very friendly and they're always making sure you're safe. I definitely love seeing shows here!
