I tried the Orange Chicken lunch special, with the accompanying fried rice (you can choose steamed rice instead), soup (hot and sour or egg flower soup), and a small spring roll. The total was $10.95, which was a good price for the amount of food. The chicken was slightly tough and not very flavorful. The spring roll didn’t have a memorable taste. The egg flower soup had an interesting flavor I couldn’t place that I didn’t particularly enjoy. The fountain drink dispenser wasn’t working, but they did have cold soda in cans. I wouldn’t recommend Lulu, nor would I go back. While the prices for the lunch specials are inexpensive, the food isn’t very enjoyable or appetizing.

Orange chicken was tough and hardly no chicken in a rough crust no napkins no soy sauce no sides that we purchased We did it online took us 20 minutes to get to the place and they started making when we went in and asked for our order after 20 -30 more minutes of waiting we got to he place we were eating . Then I called them back and they argued over it! Never going back . Do not recommend!!! Do not eat here waste of money and your time

This place was great. I wanted some comfort Chinese food and they nailed it! I ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp and Fried chicken wings-both very tasty! The staff was helpful and sweet. Portions are great, I'll have enough food for a couple days! No complaints! Thanks Lulu Kitchen

We love this place. My husband is a New Yorker, so you know he has opinions about Chinese food and this restaurant meets his high expectations. They are friendly and kind. This isn't fastfood, it's a family operation and well worth the wait for their fresh, delicious food. Don't listen to the naysayers, they probably like Applebee's and wouldn't know good food if it bit them on the arse.

To the point, solid B-grade Chinese food. We split a dinner combo, #1, and it was perfect for the two of us. It totally fixed our craving for Chinese. Decent AC as well for another 100 degree day in ABQ.

This is a hidden gem downtown! They have the best wonton soup! Every item on the menu is delicious! Must eat there to see for yourself!

The food was amazing, the service not so much! I understand there were only 2 people working but the tables sitting there should be as important as all the takeout orders attention as well.

Tried 6-7 dishes before this review: great food and friendly service. Everything from the twice-cooked pork to the Mongolian chicken has never disappointed.

I love this place so much. Boyfriend always orders the General Tso chicken. And i tend to jump around the menu. That and the Kung Pao is SPICY! SO Good!!! Their Orange Beef, sweet n sour, as well as the Lemon chicken and egg drop soup are all to die for-YUMM! we often have them delivered. Our food is Always Flipping piping hot, as it indeed went from pan to box. Super nice people-great service. I love saying thank you, because i do mean it. I enjoy tipping because they definitely deserve it! Find this Hole-in-the-wall Gem and Eat here-you wont be sorry!

My favorite little spot. They always have fresh food and it’s very consistently amazing. The tofu fried rice is the best I’ve ever had

High quality fresh ingredients, well spiced. While it seems pricey, the quality and quantity are worth it. The Egg Foo Young was delicious—light and puffy, not greasy and they will be be my go-to when craving this dish. Egg rolls were tasty, fried crispy without being greasy. Well flavored fried rice with lots of vegetables. The Szechwan chicken had good spice and was flavorful.

We always go Downtown and eat on Central. We found this place on a detour route. And decided to give it a go. Sure glad we did so. The service was exceptional. The food was excellent. The only thing was the scraping of the dining chairs against the cement floor. (Like nails on a blackboard). Other than that, it was a nice place for a quick bite to eat!

Solid Chinese food at a solid price. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but I will say it exceeded my expectations.

Ive always had good experiences with Lulus. A majority of the time we order delivery, which is always piping hot. We do have to wait awhile for our food-but considering the taste, im very sure it takes times to make. We love the food and the service. My boyfriend loves their Gen Tso chicken. Ive had the orange chicken, lemon chicken, orange beef, and their lo mein-All delicious. I also must recommend their Wonton soup-oh that broth is amazing!!😋 Thank you, Lulu’s-we love your food and delivery. Im very sure we’ll be ordering again, very soon!

Very solid Chinese delivery. The inside of the store is lacking atmosphere, so I wouldn't dine in. But, the food is solid and the guy behind the counter is really nice. I recommend the spicy orange chicken, egg drop soup, or the General Tso. It's obviously a family run company, and I love supporting local businesses.

place is empty. but there's something missing. food is bland. meat could be much better. especially the general toas chicken. rice is bland. overpriced. and i was the only one and it took a long time to prepare.

We came over for lunch. The service was very polite and efficient. The egg drop soup has no business being so good! The broccoli beef and veggie rice was amazing as well. I have had the regular fried rice but you need the veggies to make it amazing! Loved it!

Food was delicious. Service good. We were there late evening for dinner. There were two other eat in customers with others coming in for take out, so it was nice, quiet and peaceful.

Conveniently located between two open mic nights we were attending. Service was quick and the food was alright for your typical American-style Chinese food, but the broccoli in my Beef & Broccoli was still partly frozen.

The takeout is usually good but we didn't get a chance to rate dining in. Storefront states open 12pm on Saturday but when we got there, it was closed. Finally got the attention from someone inside who said another 20min and didn't seem sure of that.

Food tasted like it sat out all day. Ordered a PO PO platter and it didn't look like one and the meat was chewy and old. Would not recommend this restaurant.

A cold cavernous dull restaurant. The food was salty with no flavors other than the soy sauce. The wanton soup was very disappointing. If you want a lousy restaurant experience this is definitely the place

Food is always amazing! It’s a nice place to go with people, and isn’t that costly. Would totally suggest it to others.
