We visited here while on an overnight stopover in Albury. This will certainly be our restaurant of choice for our next visit. The food is really good and the service is outstanding. We sat near the waiters' station and it was a pleasure to observe their professionalism. While the decor is pleasant enough, the room feels a little closed-in, otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Front of house was very rude and dismissive. The only staff member (that we encountered) that was friendly was the waiter, who was lovely. The food was OK but certainly extremely overpriced compared to other excellent Thai restaurants in Albury. First time visiting and definitely our last. Would not recommend since there is a superb Thai not far away. We were there on Saturday July 16 not Sunday.

01 July 2023 The food tastes ok. But it doesn't really taste like Thai food, not spicy, and not much flavor like those real authentic Thai food. Probably because they adjusted to their customers' preference here.

OMG apart from the amazing food the service was second to none. The main waitress should run a comedy with Thai dinner show during the week ‘very switched on’ made us laugh and we will be back. It’s a family run business and they take a lot of pride to make sure their customers are happy.

It’s ok, not great. Quite expensive for what it is and for dishes that include vegetables on the menu, maybe should just say with celery and onion because that’s all they came with. Curry puffs were good so scrapes in with 4 star but not for value or quality

Such a great restaurant where I am always welcomed warmly and genuinely. The food has consistently been good with this family owned restaurant for over thirty years. The new presentation of old favourites is a hit ! We had a large selection of entrees with rice and one main..all presented together for two people to share as is the trend these days. Great experience easily the best Thai food in offer in Albury.

Great food and good service. 3 star for the $2.50 charge for a few pieces of chopped chilli on the side. To be charged for chopped chilli in a Thai restaurant is ridiculous!

Family run business for well over 20 years. Always friendly and the food is consistently good . We chose one of the Banquets for our lunch and it was great.

The red curry duck rice and seafood tom yam are one of the best we've eaten. BUT, 2 stars are removed because there are only 2.5 pieces of sliced duck meats in the curry for $29.50!

Decided on take away because these guys were the best last time I ate there. This time was dreadful. I’ve never had such a strange tasting weird coloured supposed “red curry” in my life. No idea how they can call it red curry. It was brown at best, with absolutely no hint of red curry flavour. In fact I can’t even say what it tasted like! The Thai fried rice with chicken was woeful. Looked like a really average Chinese fried rice. The chicken looked and tasted like an afterthought. It’s as if they had forgotten it was supposed to have chicken in it, and added cooked chicken from another dish. It was tasteless, dry and tough. Not to mention how much 3 x dishes cost! In excess of $70! Won’t be coming back.

Came here for dinner on a busy Friday night on the way to Victoria from NSW. They accommodated 7 of us and we were not only blessed with delicious food but fast service which was great since we were in a rush to get back on the road. The staff were very attentive and the restaurant is very well maintained. It was just under $30 (including drinks) per person for us. The beef massaman curry was superb and although pad Thai is not always my favourite, here it was done very well with real lime. Overall I’d highly recommend this restaurant although you may have to book to guarantee a seat.

Disappointed. Seated and order taken promptly. Firstly, a bottle of wine was given to the wrong table. Then, multiple tables seated after us were given their dishes and walking out whilst we waited. After bringing this to the attention of wait staff, they used the usual Printer error excuse. Finished bottle of wine waiting for meal. Which was quite nice.when it finally arrived. Other than the volcano chicken which they obviously rushed as it had no heat of flavour at all. Don't think we will be back.

We ordered an array of food for delivery over the phone. The staff/management went beyond the professional Australian norm and were particularly impressive given the regional nature of the business. The food was delivered slightly later than expected but was hot and absolutely delicious. Highly, highly recommended.

Never fails to deliver the goodd. Fresh flavours spicy original Thai cooking. Crispy vegetables, not drowned in heavy sauces. The original and the best in Albury

Lovely ambience Courteous staff Timely service Some of the tastiest Thai food we have eaten. The special fried rice and tofu with ginger stir fry were definite winners. You can taste the good quality ingredients used. Highly recommended in Albury.

Friendly service however the staff were very slow with our orders because the couple who arrived after us were served their meals before ours. 🤔 **Thankyou for your response and I totally understand shortage of staff, however the couple that arrived after us ordered entrees and mains which both came out before we received our mains - we only ordered mains. Perhaps their dish took less time and was easier to cook. 🤷🏽‍♀️ We would probably drop into your restaurant if we are ever in your area again as we still enjoyed our meals. Thankyou for understanding. 😊🍜

Couldnt get through on the phone for a pick up order so went to the restaurant. Waited an hour for my takeaway of 2 menu items - not ideal esp with kids. They even got one wrong and the beef was really tough. 2 stars coz the rest of the food tasted amazing.

1st time and extremely disappointed, one waiter very polite and always looking after us the other was very rude from when we walked in. Very pricey for portion sizes. Then to be charged a service fee on eftpos when the meal was close to $180, very disappointing.

A good alround restaurant. My Boua seafood curry had a well balanced flavour. I would recommend having dinner at the Thai Lotus.

We eat here regularly and the food is great. Service is quick and good variety of food wine by the glass and prices are reasonable. They have in house made entry pieces which are really nice from usual packet items you get at other restaurants. Make sure you book on Friday and weekends as its packed. They do a lot of takeaway also if you prefer.

This Thai restaurant is situated in the Main Street if Albury. It can be challenging to get a park at night especially Friday to Sunday. It has quite a good ambience to it. The food is quite good but I will always choose the other Thai in the same street as it is just that little bit better four. Customer service is really good here and it is very efficient service. Thus is a great Thai restaurant just not the best in the street.

The best Thai on the border. Never a bad meal, always great customer service and they deliver. 😍

Got some Thai fried rice and fish filets both of which were overpriced and underwhelming. Celery isn't a familiar sight for Thai cuisine. I probably wouldn't recommend this place to my mates.

Absolutely gorgeous local location to go to in Albury Wodonga, a lovely variety of drinks and dishes to eat, and very lovely staff, the only downfall I feel that Thai lotus suffers from is inconsistency in food flavours, you may come in and get yourself a lovely green curry for example and it might be absolutely perfect it’s sweet and spicy and just absolutely bursting with flavour, but the next time you come the same curried you previously ordered may be super sweet and over powering, but if you remove this I’d pretty happily say Thai lotus is one of the best Thai joints in all of Albury! Highly recommend

A truly wonderful and authentic gourmet Thai venue. The food is so fresh that it explodes in your mouth. The vegetables are still bursting with life. And the authentic flavours will blow u away. Thailand in Albury

After a great day on the badminton court, eleven of us ate here last Saturday having one of the banquets. Staff were friendly and efficient on a very busy night and the food was superb. Thanks to all at Lotus Thai. We would visit again when next in town.

The service was very good, especially the nice waiter who recommended food. The food was great as well, with the exception of the "Volcano" Chicken meal. We assumed that it would be spicy, however it was not. It was too salty too. As for the Rice Paper Roll, it was more paper than food. The outer bit was quite hard to bite into, but the rest was nice. I recommend going here.

I’ve eaten here since it first opened…. I’ve lived and worked in Thailand in the 70s..at least 10 visits to Thailand, so I believe I’m qualified to rate Thai food 😊…well over 20 years , never had a disappointment at this restaurant …. My favourite Thai restaurant in Australia…. I’ve read reviews where folk say such things as ‘celery is not a traditional Thai ingredient’ etc…. What IS traditional Thai is to use FRESH, SEASONAL vegetables, which is what Pat & Thip ( the owners) have always used, made sure to oversee the quality of food , service and the ambiance …. Always spotlessly clean , from the kitchen to the restrooms…. I hope they never close this iconic Albury restaurant! PS…. The food is magnificent ( dine in, take out, delivery) as is the service Jo Estella

Absolutely incredible dishes. The stand out favourite was the Duck Red Curry. Paired with the coconut rice it was beautiful. I'll definitely be visiting again while I'm in Albury

We have been going to Thai Lotus since 1989 for their authentic Thai dishes. Only disappointment was that after spending hundreds of dollars in having a lunch takeaway, dinner for two consecutive nights with three and four people they changed for an empty takeaway container.

Food was amazing, service was prompt & friendly. Everything you'd expect from delicious authentic Thai food. Definitely worth trying whether you are traveling through town or a local. Super delicious!

What a great experience! Had a lovely dinner here. We arrived around 7, the place was pretty full but they found us a table. So many vegan options and gluten free ones. We ate the tofu cashews, vegetables fried rice, vegetables pad tai, red curry with chicken, the spring rolls and rice paper rolls. Everything was excellent! So tasty, came out fast and was fresh and tasty. Would 100% recommend eating here, awesome tasty place.

Probably one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve eaten at! Food was delicious, the service was very friendly and the food was prepared and served very quickly. The establishment was very clean and well presented - the decor was warm and inviting. Would recommend the satay chicken with veg, rice and fresh chilli 🫶🏼 also, the pad Thai 🙌🏽 the lemon lime and bitters was well-made, also. Cannot fault the place! 👌🏾
