My boyfriend and I visited the Namaste Indian restaurant in Alcudia whilst on holiday and we enjoyed our meal a lot! The poppadoms were fresh and crisp, and we ordered the tandoori chicken tikka, lamb madras, egg rice, peshwari naan and garlic & cheese naan. Everything was delicious and brilliant quality. The only thing we thought could be improved was the spice level of the madras as we did expect it to be spicier, but still absolutely delicious! Very friendly and fast service, we would definitely recommend and hope to visit again in the future!

Very delicious and tasty Indian food. And the nicest waiters. We were a little sceptical because of the tacky decoration, but it was so good.

Namaste is a common greeting in India that signifies respect and acknowledgment. Indian restaurants named "Namaste" often seek to embody the spirit of warm hospitality and authentic Indian cuisine. These restaurants typically offer a diverse menu featuring a wide range of traditional Indian dishes, representing the rich culinary traditions of various regions across India. The menu at Namaste Indian Restaurant is likely to include popular Indian dishes such as: Curries: Different types of curries, such as Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Makhani (a vegetarian option with Indian cottage cheese), and more. Tandoori Specialties: Tandoori dishes, cooked in a clay oven, like Tandoori Chicken, Seekh Kebabs, and Tandoori Fish. Biryani and Rice Dishes: Flavorful rice dishes like Chicken Biryani, Vegetable Biryani, and various rice pilafs. Breads: A variety of Indian bread, such as Naan, Roti, and Paratha, served with different accompaniments. Vegetarian Options: Numerous vegetarian and vegan dishes, like Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, and Dal Makhani. Street Food: Some restaurants may also offer popular Indian street food items like Samosas, Pakoras, and Chaats. Desserts: Traditional Indian sweets like Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, and Kheer (rice pudding). The ambiance of Namaste Indian Restaurant might be designed to evoke an Indian feel, with decor that includes elements like Indian art, colors, and patterns. The dining experience may be complemented by Indian music and attentive staff offering the traditional Indian hospitality. As with any restaurant, the quality of food and service may vary, so it's always a good idea to check online reviews or ask locals for their recommendations if you're planning to dine at Namaste Indian Restaurant or any other restaurant with a similar name.

Very easy to give 5 stars for the lovely food I had tonight. Good food and a reasonable price. It was a very warm night so sat outside, as did everyone. It seemed like a busy night which shows that this restaurant is popular. I had Onion Bhaji to start which came with mixed dips and chutney, very nice with Bhaji being freshly cooked. My main was a mixed meat Balti, prawn, chicken, and lamb all of which were succulent and came out piping hot. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I also liked sitting outside looking down the lane towards the bay. Plenty of parking nearby. Thank you 🙏

Excellent Indian restaurant. All staff were attentive and friendly. We had starters and 3 mains and everything was delicious. Complimentary digistif shots were most welcome. Very good value also! American rock/pop on the radio seemed to pander to the masses but personally I’d have preferred traditional or modern Indian music.

We had an early evening meal so the restaurant was pretty quiet but soon filled up. Service excellent and the food was amazing, one of the best curries I’ve had for a very long time and would thoroughly recommend. Very competitively priced and the ingredients were clearly fresh and well prepared 🙏🏻

You’d not really expect this high level of quality in Alcúdia but this Nepalese gem is the real deal. Great tasting, spicy and flavourful dishes with a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options too. The staff are lovely and the restaurant has an open charm which is instantly relaxing.

Excellent food. The vegetarian samosas were tasty and crispy. I took the butter chicken with garlic naan. It was delicious. Friendly waiter/waitress

One of the best Indian restaurants myself and my partner have ever experienced. Food was delicious and our waiter was the most friendly and polite person. Very accommodating and happy to make us a dish that wasn’t on the menu. For half of the meal, I was genuinely speechless at how delicious the food was. Hope to come back again very soon!

Situated in the Alcúdia area of northern Mallorca, this (actually Nepalese) restaurant is a little haven for those seeking tasty curries and the like from the Indian subcontinent. Getting here, the parking can be slightly tricky as the restaurant is located in a busy commercial area. A car park exists nearby but we got a bit lucky and decided to park on the street perpendicular to the one with the restaurant. There are outdoor as well as indoor seating areas - we didn't try 'al fresco' this time as it was a cold spring evening. We found the interior environment to be comfortable, with the decor being very much of Indian persuasion: somewhat discordant but welcoming all the same. Buddha figures appear throughout and the owners' Nepalese origins are apparent if understated. The staff greeted us within seconds of walking onto the premises in a cool and calm manner. You immediately get the siesta vibe here - everything is easygoing. This initially gave me a worry that the food would reflect similarly, but once the food arrived, I realised quickly that I needn't entertain that particular reservation. The restaurant was at about 35% occupancy on a Wednesday night in March - definitely low season on an offpeak night. And like most successful immigrants, the staff are talented and speak multiple languages fluently, including their native language as well as English and Spanish. Onto the food: all the superlatives used by the other reviews are well deserved. Everything we sampled was excellent throughout and are clearly marked with allergen information on the menu - and it's so welcome that they mention the word 'vegan' on the menu. We tried starters in the form of vegetable samosas, alongside a good selection of mains - all excellent. I'd recommend ordering just three mains plus a flatbread of choice and some rice if you're with one other guest. Regarding specific dishes, of particular note was the ayurvedic daal - an outstanding dish full of flavour and recommended not only by me but by the restaurant itself, and rightly so. Saag aloo is also well worthwhile as it seemed to use fresh spinach rather than a readily-canned or pureed solution like most Indian restaurants in the UK tend to do. The mixed vegetable curry was highly commendable as well. We were asked about the spice level for all dishes so we opted for 'medium' and everything ended up being more than palatable. It's crystal clear that they have an excellent kitchen operating in the back with talented chefs. Overall, fantastic food, friendly staff and decent pricing makes this restaurant a must-try for vegans visiting Mallorca. Make the trip, even if you're not staying on this side of the island - it's well worth it and one that would give the top Indian restaurants in London a run for their money! Highly recommended!

The food was good but this was let down by the service. We had only just finished our main meal and we were given our bill without us even asking for it. 2 minutes later they arrived at our table with the card machine .... I politely told him that I hadn't finished my drink. There was no offer for us to have a dessert or coffee, they just wanted to free up the table because they were very busy. I was disappointed with this.

During our stay in alcudia we went to many different restaurants, the majority of the food was of very poor quality but when I say that Namaste really was amazing, for quality and atmosphere. Our server, Ricky, was an absolute gent and really gave us the full experience. Would highly recommend, great food, great drinks and great service. 10/10. Will be coming back here for years to come.

I have had yet another excellent meal at this restaurant. It is very reasonably priced without compromising on the quality. The waiting staff are also very friendly. If you're in the area I would highly recommend dining here!
