Stopped here for lunch while visiting my girlfriend. I had the Volcano burger and my girlfriend had the Reuben. Both were delicious!! I had a flight if their beers and was pleased with my choices. Our server was prompt and courteous. Overall this is a great place to get some good grub and a beer.

We had lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. Service was good. I really enjoyed the Cowboy burger. Others in our party thought the reuben sandwich was not the best and the pub club was okay. The fried Brussel sprouts were tasty,, but not tender. Sweet potato fries were very good.. Big screen TVs all around.

Awesome space inside and outside. They have great food and beer. The fried green tomatoes are excellent. The vanilla cream ale is my favorite beer. I usually drink dark beers, and the vanilla cream ale really surprised me. The pizza is also very good. They have a nice outdoor space with bar, tv, and games.

REALLY GRWAT SPOT! So far, it's the best meals we have had in tennessee! The atmosphere is beautiful, beer is great, and the service was astounding. The Cajun pasta was fantastic with amazing flavor. My wife's burger was a work of art, and she added an over easy egg to it that was cooked to perfection. There will usually be a little bit of a wait for a table, but 100% worth it. Any delicious place will have a wait. We will be back again this month when family is here visiting.

Always fast, hot, delicious food. Emma was our server and she was great. Always anticipating refills or clearing dishes. She also timed our entrees so they didn't over run the appitizers. Our party ordered fried green tomatoes, beer cheese & chips plus loaded cheese fries as appitizers. We then shared a 12 inch pizza, patty melt and chicken finger platter and Im pretty sure a wedge salad was thrown in the mix too. Needless to say we ended up with 3 togo boxes. Wife had a craft brew and I had a double Buffalo Trace bourbon. Everything was delicious. Bands start outside music when temperatures warm. Huge outdoor venue with grassy areas, string lights and corn toss for the kids. We will be back!

I ate lunch on a Saturday. I had chicken tender platter with onion rings, and a salad. The food and the service was good. We were in a party of 10 and were seated very quickly. We parked in the area across the street. Be very careful when crossing this street if you park here, as this is a busy street. You can get six packs of their beer to go, and reasonable prices.

This place is great! One of the best fried green tomatoes we've ever had! There's 5 but I had to steal one so photo only shows 4 haha! I'm a big fan of the coalminer stout. We try to visit every time we're in the area!

12-23-22.. Excellent food and service! Great atmosphere, nice layout. But let's talk about the food! Bourbon BBQ Salmon on a bed of rice was top notch! Rice was nice and fluffy, yet a little firm. Salmon with Bourbon sauce paired fantastic, and they even melted cheese to perfection on my steamed broccoli, per my request! Cajun pizza was up next, another hit! Crust cooked to perfection, not soggy, not doughy, just nice and crisp outside with soft warm inside. I honestly expected a spicier flavor with the name Cajun, but it was just enough to not overpower all the other ingredients. Even my wife loved it, and she is not a spice person. Coalminer Ale was very good, better than the Blond brew in both out opinions. My son had Ceaser salad and Mac N Cheese, both excellent, as was the Pepperoni and Sausage pizza shared by my wife and other son. Well worth the stop!

The beer selection is very cool. Best IPA I've ever had. The beer flight is such a great way to sample their beer that they brew right there on-site. We sat at the bar and ordered the Inferno flatbread. Simple. Delicious. The celery hearts is a nice addition to the pizza. Atmosphere! Wow. Very cozy, casual, and welcoming.

YUMMM! We literally ate every bite of food! Our server was Lauren and she gave great recommendations, we got the brussel sprouts, chicken mozzarella flat bread and the tacos. Everything was delicious! It’s a great area with tons of outdoor (+ cornhole) and indoor seating. It had a great vibe and it’s family friendly! We were seated and served quickly which was also a huge plus. We’ll definitely be back to try more tasty plates because the menu it huge!

Love this place Great decor, the bar is fantastic 30 minute wait on a busy Friday night was not bad for how busy they were. Sat at the bar while we waited. Bullet was served over a large ice ball 👍 Moved to outside seating. Very cool tables and chairs. Big yard with cornhole set up. I'm on the carnivore diet and asked if I could do the cheeseburger with no bread or sides. The server let me substitute bacon as a side🤠 I ordered a medium rare burger which is what I like and she said our medium rare is very pink. I appreciate when a restaurant tells me what their version of medium rare is. The food came out so fast I was shocked. The burger was a perfect medium, rare and tasted fantastic. Our server was wonderful We of course will be back!!!

We ordered Ruben sandwiches, the Philly Flatbread, and pick two combo - strawberry salad and baked potatoes. Everthing tasted good. 😋 Had barn stormed red beer, light red ale with the sandwich and bought 4 pack of warhorse to go home. You can sample the beer 4 at a time. The service was good. We would come back. I wonder though why they picked the military historical name for their restaurant but give no military discount. 🤔

Pizza is really good! Loaded fries were good! I had a Rum Cherry Limeade 😋 Waiter was great. The negative is that we were told it was a 30 minute wait, but didn't get seated for an hour and a half.....

Blackhorse pub and brewery in Alcoa, Tennessee. Coming home from vacation over the Christmas holidays with family. My family and I had stopped here to eat lunch. This place was wonderful. The food was excellent. The fried green tomatoes were wonderful. They had pimento cheese on top served with pepper jelly. I had gotten the steakhouse burger with fries my grandson had gotten a pizza. He loved it. My daughter got the shrimp tacos. Oh my gosh they were delicious. This restaurant was so worth not going on the highway and taking the back roads home. I will definitely be going back. So the next time you're coming from pigeon forge or Gatlinburg take the long way and go by the blackhorse pub and brewery.

This brewery had a great atmosphere! In a really easy to access location! This place also has some really good food! With entertainment amenities outside. Such as corn hole and an outdoor band. Me and my wife ordered the fried green tomatoes, which were honestly the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had. The artichoke and spinach dip, and their Blackhorse special Pizza. Which was essentially a Supreme pizza with garlic crust. The pizza was really cheesy you could pick up the pizza and watch the cheese hold on for dear life. The crust on the pizza was honestly some of the best crust on a pizza I have had as well. If you got growlers and want to bring their beer home with you, they fill those up as well!!! I Had 2 growlers filled which was their vanilla cream and sours brews that they make at this brewery! Which only set me back $34 which is pretty competitive compared to other breweries! Do not sleep on this place!!

Nice place, expect a decent wait. Ordered traditional cheeseburger with onion rings, flatbread Philly cheesesteak, and Mac and Cheese. The Great- the onion rings were Awesome! Daughter loved the Mac and Cheese. The Good- Flatbread pizza was very tasty. The disappointment was the burger. I’d give it a 4/5. Just felt the burger could’ve been seasoned better. The beer was good as well.

I go to this restaurant WEEKLY. This is my first bad experience but I am definitely sadden by what happened. Me and my family showed up at 9:23pm tonight to eat a quick dinner (we had no intentions staying long since they closed in 37 minutes) but when we were sat we were told they already closed the kitchen so we needed to order immediately (before we even ordered our first beverage) if we wanted to eat. So we quickly rush our order together. Our order comes out ( I order chicken sliders every time I don’t like change much) food was sat on our table by not our server which also may I mention never introduced herself you’ll understand why that’s important in a minute but food sat down I immediately realized something was wrong with my chicken sliders. They had the soggiest TINIEST chicken tenders on a bun. I look for my waitress which sees me looking for her to come my way I’m not gonna be rude and yell across a restaurant. She continues to chat about her day so I had to ask the bartender ( who she was speaking with if she can please tell her come here) my waitress walks up and immediately is rude asking what’s the problem? I said nicely can I please have this remade the way it comes. Crispy chicken on a slider not a skinny tender please. She immediately rolls her eyes and tells me that’s how they always come out when in fact I just had one two days ago that looks better then any chicken slider you’ve ever seen. She was EXTREMELY rude rolling her eyes then going to the next table to laugh about the situation so as anyone would I got very upset asked them to take my food back ( that hadn’t been touched) and to remove it from my ticket. The manager was called to the table seemed completely careless that the restaurant closed the kitchen what I was told about 45 minutes before closing and then we were rushed to order then I was called a liar by their server. Why is a restaurant that serves food close their main thing before closing? A young man named Ethan that we always ENJOY serving us so much decided to finish the small remainder of the rest of my families meal and apologized for everyone. Thank you Ethan. Black horse pub on the other hand. You should do better.

Met some relatives here for an early dinner on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy, and there was no wait. We needed a fairly large table, and they were able to accommodate. The waiter was friendly and accommodating with my 3 year old daughter. We ordered pizzas and they were fantastic. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced and came out of the kitchen relatively quickly. The atmosphere is nice. Not too loud or bar-like, but they do have a handful of TVs playing sports games. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely return.

This brewery had a great atmosphere. We went for an early dinner. We ordered soft pretzels (which you got 3) fish and chips, 2 kids meals of Mac and cheese with fruit and fries and ordered the blackhorse ale. Everything was really good. Flavor was on point. If I had a little negative it would be that the fish had to much batter on it.
