Steam
in
the
Sauna
Than
the
Sausage
Recently,
I
had
the
opportunity
to
spend
a
day
at
Bedburg
Sauna,
a
place
well-suited
for
relaxation.
However,
I
am
obliged
to
share
some
observations
about
my
dining
experience
in
the
sauna
complex's
restaurant.
I
savored
traditional
German
cuisine,
currywurst
and
Pommes
during
my
visit.
Regrettably,
the
temperature
of
the
dish
was
reminiscent
of
an
Antarctic
winter
day.
Upon
notifying
the
waiting
staff
of
this
issue,
a
member
touched
the
plate
and
silently
took
it
away
without
providing
any
explanation
or
assurance.
Upon
its
return,
it
was
apparent
that
the
currywurst
had
undergone
a
reheating
process,
most
likely
via
a
microwave,
as
evidenced
by
the
steaming
mayonnaise.
Such
practice
is
unexpected
from
an
establishment
known
for
maintaining
high
standards.
After
my
experience,
I
communicated
my
concerns
via
email
to
the
management.
Their
response
indicated
that
the
food
was
not
reheated
using
a
microwave,
but
the
dish
was
prepared
anew.
However,
the
explanation
for
the
unusually
hot
mayonnaise
–
attributed
to
a
heat
lamp
–
raised
further
questions
about
their
food
preparation
methods.
I
hope
this
feedback
proves
constructive
for
Bedburg
Sauna
and
helps
enhance
their
food
service
in
the
future.
Despite
the
bad
dining
experience,
the
sauna
facilities
were
commendable.
Considering
this,
visitors
might
consider
focusing
on
relaxation
while
making
alternative
dining
arrangements
until
improvements
are
implemented
