Excellent clean and tidy family rooms with welcome tea/biscuits and bottles of water as we expected. It is also very convenient as it is located just next door to airport especially if you are travelling late saving you time and money! Also very convenient for picking up hired cars!

Another really enjoyable stay at this hotel. Staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite. Food was excellent at a good price. Room was spacious and quiet. Hotel situated 1 min from the airport so perfect for arrivals and departures. Definitely recommend...

The location is excellent for flyers. The food was good. Their service was very good. The bed was a ok, but we had been on a cruise with very nice beds. Everything else was good. The location overrides everything. Thank you

We stayed in the Maldron the night before our flight from the international airport and couldn’t have asked for anything better. We had 3 kids with us so we stayed in one of the interconnecting rooms and it was perfect. Everything about the hotel was top class from the staff, location, food and the rooms so 5 stars all day long. A special mention to Jenna, thank you!

When i booked this i am sure it was given a three star rating and so i was expecting an overpriced, slightly tired hotel. I am very pleased to say this hotel exceeded my expectations - the rooms were modern and contemporary, tv with a sky box - that worked with a stylish shower room with quality fittings and a separate toilet. I paid for but didnt eat breakfast as i had food poisoning from resort in Spain we stayed at. Will gladly recommend this hotel and was v pleasantly surprised. Located a v short walk from airport. Staff lovely too.

Really great breakfast Everything fresh and cooked perfectly. Great front of house staff as well. A surprising and hidden gem I highly recommend this place whether you using the airport or not. 20 metres from arrivals!

Service and location were great. The heat in the room was stifling and the window barely opened, which led to a very uncomfortable night sleep. The sole reason we booked to stay a night before our holiday was to get a decent sleep before our early morning flight, the hot room changed that. We won't stay again unless we find out this has changed.

Terrible hotel that was dirty and luckily we had two rooms and close to each other because the toilet in one of the rooms didn’t work. When we told the front desk this his comment was oh they are just old and you have to hold the handle down….which we did. The only good thing about the hotel was how close it is to Belfast airport for our early morning flight, literally had to walk across the street.

Excellent location 2 minutes walk from the Airport, excellent rooms, great service, good selection of food for Breakfast, and a good evening menu, stayed here with the England walking Football team. Staff very professional and helpful.

Lovely well lit and welcoming reception. Staff happily found my missing booking which was strangely made for 2024 and apologised for the increased rate of the room. I loved the well equipped room with tea and coffee facilities, iron etc. The bathroom was rather old and showing signs of wear and tear. Overall an easy access place to lay the head after a late night arrival.

We flew from Bristol Airport in England to visit family in Belfast. The Maldron Hotel location at Belfast International airport is very convenient being less than 100 yards from the airport arrivals exit. Having checked in to the hotel online before flying, on arrival at the hotel reception we received a very friendly welcome, picked up our electronic room key and were in our room within minutes. The room was excellent, had all the facilities we wanted, including the hotel WiFi connection, and was very comfortable. Full breakfast each morning in the ground floor restaurant offered a lot of choice and good quality. Would highly recommend the Maldron for it's location, quality and staff friendliness and service.

slightly disappointed have stayed previously and had a great stay. Check in was slow, people in front had done it online and there was an issue so glad i didnt do that. Got our keys firet tuine they wouldnt work the second time got into the room and someone elses stuff was in it. 3rd time finally got into our room. Manager did give us complentary drink for mix up. At dinner food was delicious, table next to us came after us got food and drinks before us got offered desserts and coffee. I felt as i had not ordered a big fancy bottle of wine staff made more of a fuss round them. I also would have had sweets and coffee if offered. Bar staff and house keepers very friendly.

We booked a park, stay and fly package which was great. We also booked a 3 course special on our first night and the food was amazing although the service was a bit slow, the food made up in style. BUT NOW THE REASON WHY I DIDN'T RATE THE FULL 5 STARS. On our return we decided to treat ourselves to some more of the food. Firstly my wife's dinner came with chip covered in Garlic mayo which we weren't made aware of, But; yes they were replaced. THEN, the disappointing bit. While the waiter was away replacing the chips, my wife accidentally knocked over her glass of orange juice. The waiter came back and changed us to a clean table and my wife asked about another glass of juice or even water as it was her fault, the waiter just took up the offer of water, not saying, "oh no, sure I'll replace the orange juice", which was after all only a tipple of juice, but then he even forgot about the water and I had to go and ask? Now you may say this is a small matter, but I have spent my working life in a customer facing role and I feel this "small matter" just let our whole experience down. I didn't create a scene on the spot but this "small matter" certainly did NOT make us feel important. Yes if you situation arose I would use the hotel's parking again but this proves how attention to even the smallest matter can be so important. However I would still recommend the park and fly package at this hotel.

After a horrendous stay last time in a standard room where it was so hot and you couldn’t open the window properly or turn the heating off; and it took 20minutes for the toilet to refill after every flush … our expectation were higher this time as we booked an executive room! However, we got ‘upgraded’ to a family room??!! With two beds instead of one large bed (we have no kids) and whilst the room temperature was perfect on arrival, the moment we inserted the key card to enable lights and electricity, the heating kicked in despite being on the lowest possible setting, and as before, the room just kept getting hotter and hotter, and window restricters meant we could not open it more than inch again. It was therefore not a good nights sleep. We booked the dining 3course package and a table for 6pm as we had a very early start. Sadly this went wrong too. We arrived at 6pm, ate our starters, then when our mains hadn’t arrived by 7.30pm we chased when they would be arriving, as a few customers who had arrived well after us had finished both their courses and departed by then (three of them being served the same fish & chips that I had chosen..) There was a lovely manager on duty called Courtney, who really pulled out all the stops and tried to get the kitchen back on track, but despite this, my fish & chips were then rushed, and arrived semi raw. Eventually we finished the (recooked)main courses well after 8pm and just did not feel inclined to wait for our chosen desserts as it was just so late and we had a very early start the next morning. I cannot praise Courtney enough for her excellent customer service in dealing with our issues, but once again it has not been the best stay here at the Maldron Belfast International, despite the one night bill of £294 for an executive room, 15nts parking and two set three course dinners. I truly going to be very hard pushed to give this hotel a third try.. I hope management reads this review and acts accordingly….

Took advantage of the park and stay option, which is great value and very convenient before a holiday. We had dinner in the restaurant, where the staff were lovely and very friendly. Nothing was a bother and they played along with our toddler, who was pretending to take orders. Highly recommend

Check in was smooth. Directed to restaurant as it was almost last orders. Choice limited but acceptable. Staff helpful. Unfortunately the waiter managed to upset an entire pint over both of us and the table. He couldn't apologize enough and did his best to rectify the situation. No lasting harm done. However, I was surprised that the duty manager didn't feel the need to follow up and check on us. She only made reference to it as we paid the bill and, even then, just to relate a previous experience of something similar that had happened previously. She even told us how she smoothed the customer with a complimentary drink! (Didn't offer us anything!!!) All in all, it didn't detract from a positive experience and we plan to use the hotel again.

Unfortunately due to my travel plans my visit to the Maldron was just brief and only involved breakfast but by god that breakfast was good. Just to top it off, the service was fantastic. It was just your standard continental but done right ✅️

I had an early flight departure and enjoyed the fact that the airport departure door was only about 5 minutes walk away. The room was comfortable and of a good size; bathroom modern and efficient; everything very clean. I would have liked some more sachets of milk for our tea and coffee, but at least there was a decent kettle to boil water; maybe some instructions on how to use that complicated coffee machine would be useful. We had dinner there too. The portions were abundant, and the food was tasty. I had celeriac soup to start with, then sea bass with lots of vegetables. Carpets created a soft warm atmosphere, and there was a contented buzz about the place. People liked it. I feel that this hotel has improved a lot since I last used it. Well done.

Disappointed. At check in hotel had two bookings in my name which they wanted me to pay for even though I had evidence of one booking. I had prebooked a meal which had been confirmed but at the restaurant there was no booking in my name. The tv remote in the room would not work and two lights in the room would not work either. Toilet would hardly flush. On the positive side foodwas good and good position for airport

Very good location if you are heading for an early flight the only downside is the rooms are basic. The toilet in our room didn't have a good flush and struggled to flush toilet paper and the sink wasn't very clean but bed was clean and comfy and loved the tea and biscuits available and liked the addition of a guidebook for those who are new visitors to NI. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Arrived late due to flight, front door locked, had to use a bell push to get in.Pleasant girl ,on her own eventually let us in.Booking in was quick and as we were tired we headed for bed. A shower was first on list ,needed to wash away the stress of the journey. The shower fitting was broken ,to have a shower I had to hold it up in the air for both of us,there were only two hand towels so not a comfortable start and to tired to call the one person in the hotel to make a fuss. The toilet didn't flush initially, eventually got it to work but still needed to coax it .Bed was comfortable and quickly fell asleep,up early to get home on first bus, left a list of defects in the room with a girl on the desk as we left, her attitude was one of studied indifference to my complaint. Handy for a early flight, have used it before ,even then it was not something to rave about, atmosphere cold and impersonal, food indifferent, prices very high. Due to buses etc stopping to Belfast about 9 pm and taxis ,seemingly bookings by advance ,it is in the right place for a stranded traveller. Arriving late ,handy for the bed ,nothing else to recommend it.

A great improvement on 10 years ago (when it won my award for the least friendly hotel outside France). Updated ground floor reception, bar and meeting rooms to a high standard. Reasonably priced (relatively) coffee, tea and bar snacks. (did not stay overnight)

Great very friendly hotel. Was greeted with a warm welcome. Breakfast was good with cooked breakfast buffet, yoghurt, porridge, pastries & toast. We actually stayed here for our whole trip in Northern Ireland and used it as base with a hire car as everywhere is pretty much an hours drive in any direction. Rooms were big, quiet and comfy bed.

We booked this hotel not realising how close it was to the airport. It was a one minute walk which was brilliant and with the parking provided for the duration of our holiday it was ideally located. From the welcome by Megan on arrival who helped us with late check out the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room are simple and ideal with the basics you need and both plugs and usb sockets in the room. Bed was comfortable and a good nights sleep. Nadine in the lounge area was friendly and always busy with cleaning and restocking as well as taking orders. The hotel was tidy and clean with a lovely self service breakfast. We would recommend this hotel to anyone flying from the international airport

Stayed after our flight was cancelled, the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Food was nice and the breakfast was great. Rooms were are you would expect for a hotel at the airport. Functional, clean and well equipped.

Perfect overnight location to stay if you have an early flight or arrive late in the evening. Literally across the road from the terminal building. Lovely clean rooms and bar/restaurant available if you need nourishment, although I didn't use either, it looked lovely.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service. EasyJet cancelled our flight at 9:30pm and shut customer service so we couldn't get a hotel through them. Although there were no rooms left at the Maldron, we explained our situation to the front desk staff (the lovely Courtney and Bernadette) and they helped us find a room that was not normally considered fit for service (the TV had some sound issues - no problem!). All through a very stressful evening, the front desk staff reassured us that we would not be sleeping in the airport and kept us in good spirits until the room was ready. Given how challenging work is for them at the moment - with so many flights being cancelled, and so many stranded folks waiting in the lobby to see if they can get a room - I just thought they did a fantastic job. Thank you!

The restaurant and bar staff are great and provide a good service. The food is very good. The reception was consistently slow with only one person ever on reception and if they were on the phone the guests were left waiting. The rooms are basic. The shower not great. The rooms needs a bit of updating with USB ports in the room. It would be good to hv sockets at the bedside. It would also be good if bulbs in lamps were checked before guest arrived to occupy the room.

Some confusion at desk on arrival to book in car. we booked to park, fly and stay over on return. This seemed to be an unusual way of doing things (usual stay, park and fly). This also caused some confusion when we were checking out after staying the night. No serious difficulties and treated with good humour. When booking in for our overnight stay initially the receptionist was confused - there were two bookings with the same name (different phone numbers). Interesting potential. Bedroom was comfortable and well sound insulated, very important. Bathroom old fashioned, shower curtain ready for bin. Bath/shower taps arrangement with shower curtain unusual. We liked the separate lavatory. Upgrade necessary but it worked. Options for breakfast were good and were well cooked and prepared. Staff helpful.

We were staying overnight before our flight to Jersey in the following morning, made it a much more relaxing way to check in after a lovely breakfast in the hotel, literally a couple of minutes from the airport terminal. Excellent service from helpful, courteous and friendly staff. We had the three courses meal as part of our stay package. A good choice of menu and our steaks were well cooked. The cheesecake dessert was wonderful. Can highly recommend the Maldron hotel for anyone wanting a great dinner rest up and breakfast before their flight.
