Great for an hour or 2. Really enjoyable. We go to plenty of vehicle shows/museums and this place is just 'different' in the very best of ways, a very warm welcome is the first thing you'll get followed by the offer of any info you could care for of these marvelous vehicles. Has a character that the other larger/mainstream museums just can't compete with. It's all very hands on, touch/feel/get in/Inspect pretty much as much as you dare. Just be respectful as you do so. In a world of touch screen info, VR headsets and faceless audio descriptions all these are outgunned by the guys on site here. If you've a spare hour, a nipper, a vehicle enthusiast or someone into local history drag them along and have a look around and chat.

I enjoyed my visit to the museum. Plenty of parking outside and wheelchair accessible. Only open on certain days so check the website. Nice wee shop with memorabilia and books for sale to help with the cost of running the museum. Tucked away on an Industrial estate run by enthusiasts. Ongoing restorations of vehicles. Friendly staff. We'll with a visit.

Great museum, the kids 3 and 13 loved being able to climb on board some of the buses on show. Interesting information boards and great to see the engine parts, wheel hubs etc all on show. A great value visit for any transport fan!

A tiny little place with lovely staff. Won't take you long to look around but interesting all the same! What space they have is filled with some great examples of old buses, and other vehicles, I loved the old ice-cream van 🥰 Entrance price was £4 per adult and I thought it was worth every penny, enjoyed my visit 😍

Nice little place, some great vehicles, our 2 year old son enjoyed himself especially pretending to drive the bus. Visited too early for the bus rides, but still had a nice time. (Could do with some fresh, fun ideas to add to the visit.)

Wheelchair accessible here. Small car park. Plenty of room to manoeuvre inside. The vehicles on display here are truly amazing. Lots of displays to look at. Old posters and knowledgeable staff. We took my father in law here for his birthday, he loved it so much, bought back a lot of memories for him.

We loved it here. I really wanted the ice cream van. It was lovely. The men who were there were really pleasant. They spent time with us and told us lots of interesting information. We will definitely go back. A bargain for £4.

A hidden gem - inexpensive, loads to look at, and unlike some museums of this type you can actually get on most of the vehicles!

Great place with a small collection of Buses and older commercial vehicles. They also have a Birmingham Tram body, without its truck and upper deck, its a great shame it's not restored and running at the Black Country Museum.

Wonderful couple of hours spent looking around all the fantastic old vehicles. You are allowed in sit on/in a number of buses and it felt like stepping back in time. Many highlights but my personal favourite was the tram. A hidden gem of a museum.

Kids enjoyed old buses and free round Walsall trip. Lot of old buses still in good road worthy and well maintained.

A superb museum where you can touch and even climb aboard some of the vehicles. Great for the grandchildren who enjoyed sitting in the driving cab of a bus. Entrance fee was very reasonable.

First time I visited with my son, the two gentlemen who volunteers here are most welcoming straight away, my son loved looking around the museum and lovely little gift shop as well.

Great compact meuseum with a strong focus on the Midlands transport industry. Staffed by friendly and Knowledgeable enthusiasts who are happy to talk you about the exhibits. A varied collection to view covering the last 100 years including Buses, Trucks, Vans, Cars and Motorbikes along with associated static exhibits and memorabilia. A very hands on museum where you have full access to most exhibits to touch and feel and climb aboard the exhibits. The low entrance fee of £4 for adults and £2 for children makes this mueseum accessible to all.

Nice museum with a good selection of British transport history, mostly midlands based. Took about an hour to look round, staff seemed very friendly and welcomed a chat.

Visited on 10th October 2023, with a large group of adults with learning disabilities. We had a lovely bus ride in and old bus with the traditional bus conductor who gave us tickets from his shoulder ticket machine. We were then made very comfortable and welcomed to eat our lunch with them. We then had a guided tour from an extremely knowledgeable museum volunteer. A wonderful experience for us all and many photo opportunities. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend. Many thanks from us all at Stepping Out 🤗

It is a nice place visit on summer holidays for both adults and kids which shows a lot of commercial cars. A really good guidance shows the history for each car. There is also a nice cafe if you are tired.

My dad took me here when I was a kid, so this was a trip down memory lane for me. It costs £4 for an adult, which is good value. We spent around 40 minutes here. It was good that you could climb aboard some of the buses. Its worth a visit if your in the area and like buses.

A must for anyone interested in local transport. Knowledgeable and helpful people who were a pleasure to listen to and a variety of buses and other vehicles to see.

Great little museum, with lots of exhibits super friendly staff, clean, tidy and well layed out and only £4 (adult price). We visited today and we will definitely be visiting again. Our vehicle obsessed 3 year old(also he was free because he was under 5)had the best time and refused to leave he loved it that much. Most of the buses are open so you can sit inside and even go upstairs and even play driver!!! They have some amazing trucks, vans and bikes and even a very nice E-type Jaguar. For us this was 5 minutes away from our house so well worth the £4. Great to see all these vehicles being looked after so well. Keep it up 🙂

Absolutely brilliant. Both our kids (16 months, and 2½ year old) were really excited to sit in the bus driver seats and look at all the different vehicles. We'll probably return when the kids are older to really appreciate what there is here. We were there for about an hour, but you could easily spend a lot more time. Staff were all very friendly and engaging. I'd recommend a visit for anyone that has an interest in vehicles. ——— *Facilities and accessibility: The museum is all on one level and there is a double wide entrance to get in. Ground is flat and even. Busses have original handrails and required a step to get in. No baby changing facilities in the men's toilet, a normal table is available in female toilet. Did not see/look for accessibility/disability toilets. Parking is suitable, with a clearly marked and clean car park.

Really nice experience for the kid. The museum is quite small but enough to enjoy the old car truck. A really nice flash back in the transport history.

Little gem of a place to visit to a collection of buses, vehicles and one of only two Birmingham ancient trams ! It cost £4 each to visit and this was very good value for money. Easy parking, easy to find. The staff were very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions. Clean and tidy toilets on site Highly recommended for a visit for an hour or two
