A great place to grab a drink and have a chat. There's one really great lad that's always really kind and thoughtful when serving food and drink.

Excellent staff, extremely well run, always spotlessly clean, nice beer garden at the front and back, food is always good.

Came here for a Breakfast, Easy to get served, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Good Value for money on drinks and food. I had a Traditional breakfast with a Refillable hot drink for under £5! Good Atmosphere on a nighttime too.

Only visited for drinks, and there was a good selection. There is plenty of seating area (though Christmas busy). Good customer service.

Popped in for breakfast with the wife this morning, now I never expect much from a spoons but this place is the best I've visited young lad on the bar was professional but friendly, food came quick which I was surprised at as it was busy for a Sunday morning great food could of been a little hotter but wasn't unbearably cold like most spoons serve

I've been using the Avion for all but 1 month, 9 years since i turned 18. I’ve never had a problem with the security until the last 6 weeks where one seems to have nothing better to do than stop me every single Saturday night, even tho he as been told multiple times by more senior members of security im of age and has seen my id every Saturday for the last month. Either he has serious memory issues or as i feel is abundantly obvious, the guy is seriously power tripping when non of the long standing security guards are on the door to keep him in line, he really shouldn't be in the job. At this point it is starting to verge on harassment. i really wouldn't mind if they kept the trouble out but there useless, when they see a fight or any trouble at all they run in the opposite direction so quick its unliveable and all of the bar staff I've spoken to over the last few weeks haven’t got a single good word to say about them. Honestly the bar staff do a 10 fold better job than the current bunch of security ever do, ridiculous when they are paid to do a job and end up doing nothing but annoying regular customers.

I’m in here most Saturday afternoons! Friendly staff and the food is decent, particularly the breakfast. As with any Wetherspoons it has its share of one eyed leg draggers but don’t let that put you off, this is a pretty good pub!👍🏻

Easy to get to, enough surrounding car parking, lovely big space and decor, very busy due to school holidays, bit still got a table, was special friends birthday, staff let us bring balloons and birthday cake,, very accommodating,, order food from bar,, very big selection of food for different diets and alegies,, we had curry, steak, halumi. And all was enjoyed. Thank you to all the staff,, they were rushed off their feet,, Great place,Great Food,great price.

Absolutely dreadful service. Spoke to the manager who consistently said I will sort the situation which never happened. Disgrace on the weather-spoon brand and needs to be sorted. Plenty of local pubs nearby by which are far far better.

I am appalled by the service of one particular member of staff who thought it was clever to sail past customers that had been queuing and the bar and serve others. Management need to train staff on how to observe a bar and not make customers feel like they shouldn’t be there! When challenged did not come to the customer and have a conversation instead thought it was big and clever to shout across the bar…, not professional at all! Been using this pub for a while and can say that I have never had any issues until the last couple of days, shocking!

Don't know why, there's just something about this pub that didn't sit right with me. It's nice enough, but seems to be missing that special Wetherspoons atmosphere. There are two outside seating areas. The front faces a main road and the rear feels like you're sat in Morrisons carpark! Both areas are very busy and feel ever so exposed and uncomfortable with the amount of traffic and pedestrians.

Ordered a meal price was good. Beer was good. Down hill from there, chips were stone cold no exaggeration. Ignored by first member of staff. Second one came over kept our burgers as was starving. Said would bring us fresh chips. The chips wasn't fresh just microwaved as the chip I had bitten into was still on plate this could of been given to the person I was with. And the plates were so hot could hardly touch.

Was extremely busy, had too ask for table to be cleaned,waited 30 mins for meal , which was good when arrived, then had to ask where are the drinks we ordered? through app, ,eventually came after food .

Great looking building with lots of history. Service was very quick, price was good and staff were friendly. Would recommend. 👍

Although very busy, the service was great, food was hot and good value for the price. Staff were non stop working and still giving professional polite service with a smile.

Fortunately got a table to eat with my old colleagues as so popular. It seems to be the only place where I can select a healthy, 'slimming world' meal... Baked potato, beans and salad. My friend had the 5 bean salad, also healthy choice. Absolutely delicious and filling. Definitely will eat here again!

Great wetherspoons pub, better than most. Good location but parking is limited on busy days. Lovely pub and staff.

Decent food and good selection of drinks for a reasonable price, rather busy on a Saturday afternoon.

Moderately busy, good selection of ales, kitchen closed for refurbishment, bar staff friendly. Glasses, ashtrays et cetera left unattended/cleared for very long periods of time, in spite of staff not appearing to be overly busy. On a sunny summer afternoon/evening the rear terrace will always draw patrons, so a little bit more attention to refreshing tables would help. Overall another good experience of the charm that is The Avion.

Nice place ..food OK but beans were cold . Nice curry 🍛 very busy by the bar ..but was a Friday afternoon. Toilets up stairs.. Ladies have the beautiful art deco..window . But Toilets needed a clean .

Very busy. Managed to get table for5. Ordered at the bar. Recommend downloading the app to order has that was far quicker. Waited 35 minutes. Ques at coffee machines for 10 minutes. Breakfast full English. Was ok. Not the best and not the worst.

It was Curry Night. Despite how busy it was we did not have to wait too long for our food, it was hot, tasty and plentiful. Excellent value for money. I took off one star for the fact it was very loud and difficult to hold a conversation.

Great value for money caters for kids food good . Just a little noisy for me with dodgy hearing with or without heating aids. I know they wanted to keep the high ceiling . But it's like eating in a works canteen . But value for money. Staff excellent so helpful . So 9 out 10 for me

The social melting pot of Aldridge. Great food, great range of beers. Meal for 2 with drinks cost less than for 1 person elsewhere 👍 Is there any where else you can eat in after 9.30 pm without pre booking!??

Came here for the 1st time with my old mate/family,,he is in a wheelchair after a life changing stroke 12 months ago,,anyway the place was roomy,pleasant,,food looked nice,,I personally didn't eat,,but my friend/family ate,,and food looked top batt,,so I would say,,if u find yourself in Aldridge,,and hungry,,have no worries,,everything is good
