No public bathroom. The ones they have. Only the male restrooms work and there's only 2 stalls. You have to pay and they pour water in the toilet to flush. Need proper facilities for tourists.

there's always a huge market going on here with all kinds of things to eat and buy. There are roaming Mariachis. There are games and activities for children. For example, you can rent little plastic cars to push your kid around in. They sell a lot of plants and locally bottled honey in this market.

The cleanest and cutest town I’ve visited so far, the food prices for small stands revolve around $1, private parking (lot) was also around $1 the hour. Municipal bathrooms were modest and clean, $.50 per person. There are plenty of shops to buy stuff, was told by locals not to buy the plants since they won’t adjust to warmer (non-volcano) climates.

Very nice and calm area. Lots of little shops to grab a quick bite or some Knick knacks to take home with you. Nice places to sit down and eat as well. I recommend “La cocina de Machenta”; great local food and you might have a dog come up to you and ask for food. Not always ideal but hey, nice reminder of where you are!

Is good place to walk, you can walk the 100 steps, or just stay in the high point looking to the beauty of El Salvador. I liked the coffee grown in this mountain.
