We have been to many Continente across Portugal and we have been comfortable with the services provided. But this Continente Modelo doesn't seemed to know what constitute good customer service. Firstly it was difficult to find anyone to help. Finally we approached the reception and asked where to get Farelo de Arroz / Trigo. We were given a vague negative answer. When we asked further stating that we have previously purchased in another outlet, the lady replied that the outlets do not carry the same products. In exasperation, we asked for an English speaker as there was no attempt at checking the availability of the product in question. Lo and behold, she suddenly spoke in English. We approached the seafood section and asked for sapateira. We were vaguely told to go to the freezer. We couldn't find any sapateira and when queried the lady again, she merely shrugged her shoulders. Looks like this outlet has a systemic customer service problem. Very frustrating and disappointed.

Good prices and many sales. Fresh and good quality food market.

Looks fine, but isn't a continente supermarket, but a different kind of supermarket.
