My
husband
and
I
stayed
here
for
during
our
Alexandria
Bay
vacation
and
it
was
everything
that
we
needed.
The
room
is
small
and
the
only
furniture
to
sit
on
is
the
bed.
There
is
a
pool
and
some
community
patio
chairs
outside
as
well,
but
if
you
are
looking
for
a
place
to
relax
in
between
outings,
you
probably
want
something
a
little
more
high
end.
The
furniture
is
outdated
and
the
bed
isn't
super
comfortable.
There
is
not
AC,
but
there
are
fans.
The
walk
to
the
heart
of
Alexandria
Bay
wasn't
super
far
and
there
is
a
restaurant
right
next
to
the
hotel.
If
you
aren't
up
for
walking
about
a
mile
round
trip,
then
definitely
stay
at
Capt.
Thomson's
which
is
much
closer,
but
more
expensive.
If
you
use
a
hotel
as
a
place
to
crash
at
night
and
don't
really
care
about
amenities,
this
is
an
excellent
value!
