We were staying overnight, the room had a fridge, the shower water was hot. Room was clean. The king size bed was comfy. We ended up sleeping width wise on the bed so our head both got some a/c. Close to lots of good restaurants, beer and a very short ride to get to the ferry to Boldt Island a place everyone should visit. Such a sad story but very beautiful

Great location and pleasant staff. The room was clean. There is an area out back that is great for dogs. Our room was on the small size and the shower was very small but ok for a 2 night stay. The picture on the T.V. was pretty bad but overall we were happy with our stay.

Great Room, my family and I rented a room with a kitchen for my mother's 70th Birthday and this establishment did not disappoint. Friendly staff, clean room, close to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be back to stay here, I can honestly say you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

very beautiful! we come here every year for the 4th of july. good sized pool, lots of chairs round to sit in the pool. but, this year we found so many ants crawling around. the bathroom door handle is very bad, got me locked in and out a total of 3 times each. very uncomfortable beds, & the sockets on the lamp only work half the time. the TV cuts in and out, never clear.

My husband and I stayed here for during our Alexandria Bay vacation and it was everything that we needed. The room is small and the only furniture to sit on is the bed. There is a pool and some community patio chairs outside as well, but if you are looking for a place to relax in between outings, you probably want something a little more high end. The furniture is outdated and the bed isn't super comfortable. There is not AC, but there are fans. The walk to the heart of Alexandria Bay wasn't super far and there is a restaurant right next to the hotel. If you aren't up for walking about a mile round trip, then definitely stay at Capt. Thomson's which is much closer, but more expensive. If you use a hotel as a place to crash at night and don't really care about amenities, this is an excellent value!

Decent room. Beds ain't super comfy, but they were ok. Rooms were clean but had a slightly funky smell. All around decent for a cheap hotel. No breakfast available. Walls are super thin. We had a toddler, an infant and a stressed out mom in the room next door and could hear every word

Really impressed with the Cap't!. Yes, it's no frills ( for the most part), but its super clean, nice pool and a terrific location. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and it was quiet! If you're looking for a very well priced room and don't require all the amenities of a high end hotel this is the place! Everything seems well cared for on the grounds and in the room. Overall just a nice place to stay at while exploring Alexandria Bay for the first time!

Love Capt’s! Decent prices and clean rooms! The staff is always friendly and helpful, but the office isn’t open 24/7. We stay here for a long weekend every fall, totally worth it.

This Inn has an okay okay type of rooms, not too good neither too bad. It has a vibe of you get what you pay for. I would honestly suggest to see if you can find rooms in their main resort near water side Capt. Thomson resort. There were mosquitoes inside the room, furniture in the room is old and not updated. I would not recommend this place, but its main branch I would.

Stayed two nights and was very pleased with everything. Our room was clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff was extremely friendly and checking in with Eric was a breeze. He was super helpful. Needing a few things at the front desk, the staff was always prepared and accommodating. Cory checked us out and he too was very friendly and a pleasure to chat with for a few min. Would definitely recommend staying here. Price is great and they have a nice outdoor pool. Walking distance from anything in town and the restaurant on the property was an added bonus.

I have a trip scheduled for last week of October 2023. Made the reservation way ahead through Expedia on July 19, 2023 by paying the full amount. I received a call from the hotel on Aug 30, 2023 more than a month later and told they are closed on those dates, so couldn’t make any reservations and asked me to call Expedia to get the booking cancelled. They didn’t even say sorry for what they are doing. When I looked for other hotels, I noticed either most of the hotels are already booked, or prices are too high. Would never recommend this hotel.
