The park's latest art installation, R &R Studio's I Love You, provided the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding ceremony on a lovely summer day. The artists wanted to provide an open air setting for unexpected encounters that bring people together. They certainly succeeded. How wonderful to share Chloe and Matt's special day. I hope others will be inspired to make use of this special space before it's gone in November.

This park is Located near historic old town Alexandria, this is one of the best places to visit. Water front walk is so cool. Some of the best restaurants, Starbucks, Ben& Jerry are walkable distance. Weekends are bit crowded, there’s plenty of street side parking including few right in front of the park, you can use park mobile app to pay (max 2hrs). There are some daily parking near by which costs $10-$20 on peak summers. Worth a visit with family and friends

Very Happening place must Visit in Summer Evening.. Only problem is this area looks everywhere people are allowed to Drink.. Which should be avoided considering lots of kids coming into these places

A beautiful place to spend the day. Plenty of restaurants and shops to occupy everyone in your group. It's simply a nice place to relax and have a pleasant walk.

Very nice outdoor vibe. A little difficult to describe, open air area but during the cooler months they have plastic that covers those windows and a lot of gas space heating which keeps it very comfortable. The bar is large and the menu is unique, service was very good

I'm only giving it 3 stars because I'm visiting this area in the Winter 2022. Based on what I've seen, I'm almost 100% sure this area is awesome when its warmer weather. Cozy, great place to take photos, watch the airplanes, and catch the boats and birds passing by. It's inexpensive and probably a good place for a first date to chit and chat. My girlfriend loves the water so it was fitting that we spent time here. The next time I visit, I'll probably eat at one of the many near by restaurants. Enjoy

Gaylord hotel National Harbor. Beautiful light show and indoor natural atrium. It's so beautiful sunset, watching the sun set from 17th floor at Gaylord Hotel National Harbor.

Nice place to walk after food! Here some pics of the Groundswell temporary public art exhibition (October 2021) showing the topography of the Potomac river floor.

It was awesome to get out. Walk around. Got to see my son. When to the playground three times. Enjoyed the people. Got a burger to-go at Vola’s. Stopped at Ben & Jerry. Went back to get some pizza on the main strip.

A good place to visit if you are in Old Town Alexandria - two parks in one This is a park located on the river side of Old Town Alexandria. There are several parking options. There is a set of parking spots along the west side of the park, street parking around the city, and a free lot south at Jone’s Park which is a 10 min walk away. The park is a large open field with a walkway along the water, that heads both north and south. The park connects to King Street Park, another open field park, just to the north of this one. There is an awning-covered seating area with tables on the north side of both parks. There is a walking trail to the north and south along the river with informational signs and displays that describe the sights along the trail. There are several shops and restaurants in Old Town Alexandria just to the west of the field. The field has several large trees and some well-worn grass. There is a large, β€œI Love You” sign facing the street that offers a good picture option. It seems a hub of activity the times that I have been there and offers a good view of the Potomac River. It is a good place to visit if you are planning to visit Old Town Alexandria and want an easy place to park and enjoy a walk along the river.

Wow. Just such a charming place. My wife and I are new to the area and are so happy to have settled in Alexandria. So many shops, dining, and pubs. Almost every area seems historic and the waterfront is really nice and peaceful. Great place to people watch.

Such a fun and lovely place! The views, shops, and history make this gem a true experience. We went for the skiing Santa, which was a sight I'll never forget!

Awesome area. Must visit for tourists. There was live music when we visited, and loved the overall atmosphere.

This is one of the most beautiful places to spend your evening. There is live music. You could sit by the river bank and watch the ducks. The surrounding is lively and I would definitely recommend this place

Very pretty waterfront with a bike path and nice walking area. Dog park along the river walk as well as restaurants and cafes. Be careful of the edge of the water for dogs and young kids, there is no railing.

Nice and serene place to hangout. There are benches and swings available. One can watch the birds, the plane flying and boats. There are tons of lovely dine in place nearby. I went on a rainy day and so the closest one block was quite flooded by water but it was still pretty enjoyable. The river in the rain feels like an ocean.

Went here at night and it had really big, bright neon lights. A street performer was doing amazing electric guitar solos. It was like another world.
