Nice diner not far from the Residence Inn on Duke Street. Actually only 2 blocks walking distance. Nice customer service with quick service. Food isn't overpriced and taste good. I suggest the garlic bread, Mac and cheese and seafood omelet. Offer breakfast entrees 7 days a week. Nice for groups, couples, Families or eating solo. Not very busy around lunch time either so no long wait. ENJOY!

A nice diner with a decent size parking lot! You can sit indoors or outside on their patio. The patio is great on a nice day. But if it’s warm out, like the day I visited there was no breeze. Our server was friendly. It took some time for our meals to come out because they were short staff that day. Over all the food was good. Great presentation. The food was fresh and hot.

My Stepmom suggested Executive Diner for dinner and I am oh so glad. The crab cake Appetizer was delicious and big enough for an entree. But before I realized it's size I had ordered the Eggs Benedict - oh so good! The staff is very friendly and helpful (meal mates had dietary questions and specific ratio for Arnold Palmer). Will definitely go again when I'm back in town. Oh and a parking lot instead of on street parking is a huge plus!

We had a to go order. The servers we very friendly and took our large order. It was ready in about 12 minutes. The pancakes are really fluffy and thick. The grits were really soft and hit the spot. The maple sausages beat any of those Jimmy Dean type breakfast sausage I've had. It gives you a home made breakfast feel. The only negatives are the prices are a tad bit high for what amounts to Breakfast food and the Hollandaise sauce with the eggs Benedict was a bit acidic and thin rather than salty/creamy as it should be.

My new favorite breakfast spot. We did wait about 30 min to be seated, however, the wait at the table was a little longer. The waitress did inform us they were short staffed and running longer than usual. When food arrived, it was HOT which was a huge plus. Sometimes when you wait long food will come out cold, but that was not the case here. Service was top-notch! Food was delicious! They make the best grits I've ever tasted. French toast was very good along with everything else. The seating outside was covered and perfect since the weather was in the 70s. We will be back soon.

I visited The Executive Diner after church with some friends. I'm so glad we went with this recommendation as the food was plentiful and delicious! I didn't indulge, but 3 in our party had their mimosas and were very pleased with them. You won't be disappointed. There's even a bar on one side of the restaurant where can dine and catch a game or 2 on television.

This is my second visit, and the meal was much better this time. I got shrimp and grits without the bacon and a fruit dish on the side. This is a decent restaurant that is meant to give you that home feel. My only complaint is with the customer service. They could have been more warm, inviting, attentive, and kind, but instead they were unconcerned and nonchalant. All in all, it is a decent place to eat.

Excellent diner food and service! Hearty breakfast served promptly and hot. Friendly service and clean tables. We’ve only been for breakfast but will be back for lunch and dinner. Close to a number of hotels in the Duke/King Street corridor just west of Old Town Alexandria “ALX”).

I rarely give such high ratings, but this place truly deserves it! Every visit guarantees fantastic food and speedy service. It has become a staple for us, and even though we've moved farther away, we make a point to return and savor the experience. I highly recommend it!

Outstanding!! Available parking is a bonus. Friendly and attentive service, food and beverages arrived quickly. Steak and eggs is delicious, the Angus strip is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Choice of home fries or fruit bowl is a very welcome addition. Thick and hearty pancakes have a nice flavor. Amazing find, we’ll be back for sure!

It s my second visit. We had fish and chips, crab cake sandwich, tenders and fries. All entrees are tasty and generous. But artichoke dip is amazing. Tenders are big enough to share 2 kids. And finally someone knows how to make delicious fish and chips and tartar sauce(i tried many places in dmv area). Service is amazing. I think our server was Milena? She provided us perfect service. Parking is easy too.

We enjoyed an excellent bowl of clam chowder and a cup of very good beef vegetable soup. We followed our soup with an amazing crab cake sandwich and salad and a wonderful chicken quesadilla with some of the best guacamole I’ve ever had in a restaurant! And very reasonably priced to boot.

First trying It out. Food was great and I was quite impressed with the portion of food. The garden salad was also great. Next time I'm in DC I'll definitely have to come back.

Food was delicious. Corn beef hash was well season. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Hash brown potato were delicious. Waitress was very patient and courteous. This was my first visit, based on a recommendation. I will certainly return.
