Buffet spread wasn't worth the price of Php 1065 per head. Some of the few things we liked were the bread and dips, the roasted chicken, and the fruits. The chicken cream pasta sauce was way too sweet. There weren't many people, and the ambiance was good, but the music was sad and repetitive. The waiters were attentive and accommodating. I just didn't like how they are always lurking around asking for permission to bust out empty dishes. Nice to say that we have tried it here because of the hype, but probably won't come back again.

Wasn't so fond of my dining experience that time we were there. It was a nice, sunny Sunday just over a week ago. Went all the way for more than an hour's drive, and I was somehow disappointed with the lunch buffet. Not much to pick, kind of limited. Plates of roasted chicken dish were served separately to our table. Not sure if it was part of the buffet or a separate order. Forgot what the staff said about the chicken, something like only on request.

Loved the greens, the calmness. Green and white colors were in opulence. Breakfast spread was nice, especially for a vegetarian like me, I was surprised with the good options. If you love plants, want to buy saplings, decoration plants and other green stuff.....it's a must visit

If you go for the tasty healthy stuff, the food here is for you. The staff here are super duper friendly and helpful. Accommodations are very nice if you like the old house style yet well appointed and very very clean. No A/Cs here. Usually climate is cool. Electric fans are provided.

Four for the accommodations and three for the food. Had a relaxing stay at the Licorice cottage. Loved the bathroom! So airy and large. Just don’t forget to close the windows! 😅 The food was okay. A bit pricey if you weren’t staying in.

My favorite place in Tagaytay to unwind, recharge, feel good! It's a beautiful garden paradise where you'd find yummy, healthy, and freshly prepared food, amazing and rejuvenating spa treatments which cater to all your senses, and a lot of other surprises you'll find in every corner of this garden. ❤

My family and I spent a serene christmas here this year. The place is well maintained and full of luscious greens. The food is delicious with generous servings. The staff are the best! Helpful and patient. Ooggoo the resident dog is very accommodating as well.🙂

Wow. The last time I visited this was 20 years ago (in 2002). It has changed a lot, but the food is just as good as I remember it. I have always wanted to take my husband here, and he was delighted by the menu. It's a pretty good price to pay for unlimited buffet (mostly vegetarian), with unlimited juice, and tarragon tea to end your meal. The service crew were also very attentive. Comfort rooms were well-maintained. There's also ample parking. Lots of things to do here even if you're just passing through (it wasn't in our itinerary, but hunger made us turn right from our original destination, and I took the chance to introduce this magical place to my husband).

Their spa is one of the best. A bit of a walk but worth it. I got the foot spa and back massage, didn't feel like I was short-changed as I thought I would be, worth it.

This place is for a certain sub-set of individuals who are into the whole nature, organic, and eco-friendly vibe. There are no aircons anywhere - which presumably is because of the supposed cool climate of the Tagaytay area. However, it is quite warm in the restaurant as the hot air gets trapped in by the fine screens (for bugs) covering the huge windows. The food is ok - definitely the healthy variety with a touch of elegance. Staff are extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. Personally I'd prefer the comfort of dining in an air-conditioned room and I could do with food that's simpler. But for those into organic, natural, eco-friendly lifestyle then this is a place to try out.

We just had a day tour so I can't rate the rooms pero overall maganda and relaxing yung place. Staff are attentive and very friendly. One of the good thing sa service nila is kahit they accept day tours, they made sure na di madidisturb yung mga naka check in nila na guests but at the same time they did not make the walk in/day tour guests feel unwelcomed. One of Sonya's main attractions I think would be the day beds and mini cottage scattered around the trails ng garden na very comfortable upuan and napaka instagramable. Saglit lang yung stay namin sayang di kami nakapagpa spa pero i bought stuff from their apothecary and nagustuhan ko yung mga soap nila dahil napaka simple ng formula and the ingredients are all natural so very friendly sa skin. They have wedding packages and private accomodations for big pax din pala so you can check it out if you are planning to have a garden themed wedding or just want to have a family get away.

They had good ambiance and food! Today we tried their newly offered Japanese menu and their beef sukiyaki was superb. Service of the staff is also really nice, and so many good spots for picture taking. If you're looking for a place to relax and be one with nature, their collection of plants and flowers in the garden wouldn't disappoint.

Love their salad and pasta! Set menu their old time classic but you can order some new food dishes. But I recommend just to enjoy their set menu. Excellent staff! Nice dinning area and the other facilities are maintained well. They have a mini store and a bakeshop.

Not bad for a buffet style meal. Servers have a great personality. 90% of the ingredients are fresh and from the garden itself. Health protocols are well observed.

Excellent food and service in a nice garden surrounding. Table de hotel menu with a starting garden salad, spaghetti and salmon main course and a dessert medley. Fixed price of 750 pesos per person.

best brunch ever for the price. take note: no time window. ergo, you could have breakfast early and enjoy all courses (refillable without limit!) all through lunch! of course, sonya's gardens, instagrammable spots, and organic farm-to-table food are givens. what a great dining experience!

Always lovely to visit this place. So glad the garden is at its beauty despite the pandemic. The bougainvilla are in bloom and the place and coolness of the surroundings are so invigorating. I can stay in their comfort rooms. Very comfortable i deed. The use of pandan plants naturally aromatizes the CR. and they have bidet and stron water pressure. Just love sonya s. Dont miss out on the chocolate cookies ( i can taste local tablea and coconut) and the chocolate cake. Bought for my parents 53rd Blessed and safe 2022 all

The overall experience was very much underwhelming. Food: For a thousand pesos buffet, the only main dish they served was grilled chicken fillet which was dry and bland. Sides such as salads, bread, pasta were just okay. I would spend around 400 for this kind of buffet. Even large chain restos like samgyupsalamat have more variety and are way worth it. Heck, even home-cooked food would be better. Ambience: interior feels neglected. For being called a “Garden” there is not much to look at. The good: waiters were attentive and service was fast I would not recommend you bring guests over here. We all left disappointed with the food and the place itself.

We visited Sonya’s Garden for my daughter’s 18th birthday. I would say it’s great experience staying here. It’s magical, relaxing and invites good vibes.Amazing hospitality! Staffs are friendly ,approachable, and familiar of almost of the plants around. Great hospitality from arrival to check out. They are surprise set up for my daughter in the room when we arrived. Severs in the dining area is also superb, our server Eyie gave my daughter a surprise cake and birthday song from the rest of the kutchen staff. Thank you Sonya’s for giving our short visit a great one!!!

Reviewing the restaurant only for ala carte dining. The place was relaxing nice to go for a walk. The restaurant vibe was nice and cozy, food looked vibrant and fresh, it tasted really good too. They said their all organic so I'm happy that I was eating healthy too. Would dine here again when in Tagaytay.

Sonya’s Garden was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they made our stay here perfect. They provided us a lovely, in depth tour of their gardens, a fun trip down to the river, and each meal was simply amazing.

If only I can give more than 5 stars I would. The room and the service are superb! Sonia is a source of inspiration and energy for everyone. Her passion and advocacy towards nature and helping people drive the member of the community to become better every day in what they are tasked to do. The ambience has so much positive energy that you would forget the time passing. Staff will make you feel special with different surprises every day. Coming back is something to look forward to when you are in the Philippines. Our 5 days is really worth the experience.

We just visit Sonya’s for just a smog day, don’t get me wrong it’s still pretty and still renovating the place, we don’t have our lunch here this time just buy some stuff and bake goods. Staff are accommodating and friendly, place still clean and well maintained.

This review is for the restaurant only. We didn't try their rooms or their other services. If you're ever planning on eating here, I hope you brought your mama's credit card. The classic buffet costing 1,065 per head wasn't really worth it for me because their buffet station only has salad, pasta, fruits, and choco cake. The chicken and complementary pesto bread gets served to your table directly. I was so used to buffets like Sambokojin and Vikings where there are plenty of choices that I got disapppointed when I saw their buffet station. If I had known that in advance, I would have instead ordered the other meals on their menu instead of taking the classic eat-all-you-can option. Nevertheless, the place's atmosphere makes up for the food. They also have wide parking spaces and great service.

If you've eaten from their buffet years ago and you liked what you had, no worries there, they still offer the same dishes and drinks, from first course to dessert. The a la carte menu has been changed slightly with the addition of new dishes though. Still love the interiors and fresh feel of the surrounding.

My fiancée and I decided to treat ourselves to a spa day here. It was definitely the right choice. We had 2 Swedish messages 1 facial for me and 1 foot scrub for my partner. My partner and I absolutely loved it, the staff here are so kind and we both could not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for making our evening so special it was truly a fabulous time!

Salad that was part of the set meal was good & was the highlight of the meal. Pasta was ok, salmon was tough. Ambiance in the tent was lively, tables far from each other. Health protocols were followed. Nice place to meet a few good friends during the pandemic. Excellent service!

I had a quick visit there yesterday. By the time I arrived, it was dark. The place for me is beautiful but I think it’s much nicer during the daytime. It’s a bit creepy at night because of the lights. I wanted to have some snacks and coffee but all what they had was a buffet. It’s a bit pricey. However the staffs let us groom around. They have a spa, acupuncture sessions available there. It’s worth visiting.

We ate at the buffet. Salad and soup was great though it is a little expensive overall. Not worth trying again. Buffet was the only option when we visited and it was served to us- not really buffet style, more like a 5 course meal that you can refill (except for the roasted chicken). The garden at night is great for taking pictures.

Went to the Spa and had a Sonya's signature massage with the wife. It was great and the whole ambience of Sonya's brings the experience a notch higher. Relaxing is an understatement.

Nature's finest! a RESTAURANT serving organically grown, pesticide-free veggies and edible flowers. This food costs 750 pesos breakfast course meal. Better if you try their lunch and dinner meals. Very accommodating staffs with unli per batch servings. It's definitely worth it.

The place looks nice. The servers are great, very attentive and if it's your first time dinning @ Sonya's try the Garlic bread and don't 4get to bring some home😄 but some of their dish needs improvement like the adobong pusit, it taste so sweet.

The place is nice but not worth the price imo at 3600 per head. The food is just ok, I wasnt really expecting much because of the reviews. They do provide citronella spray which is good since there are so many insects. And we just killed a cockroach haha.

Sonya's hispanic bread is worth the travel to Tagaytay. Let alone the super secret salad dressing. 👏 Missing the old Sonya's food servings though. Everything is now plated and selections are limited.

Food was good, service what service???? After he brought the food, never seen him again within 20m from our table. You got to train your waiters, who wants to go back when your waiter has no interest to do a good job, too bad. Normally tip 5 to 20% but I guess you know what he got.. He did not even deserve 5%.

Haven't really availed their complete services yet as we only dropped by to do sightseeing and to buy their famous cheese hopia from their bakery. It tasted as good as the last time I tried it. Place was undergoing some renovations when we went there last August 13, 2022, but I should say that the atmosphere was still cozy. Next time, I hope to dine in their restaurant and avail their spa services. I'm confident that they'll do well since my quick interaction with the staff made me feel welcomed.

A very relaxing place to stay. Loved everything about this place. The employees were very accommodating and courteous. The food was great and the surrounding garden was amazing. They say all plants you see in the garden are edible - it’s amazing for me how they are very sustainable. They also offer free wellness activities to stay-in guests, but we haven’t tried them because it was raining. Will be coming back to try them for sure.
