Beautiful views - a restaurant up top (didn't try). Get there soon while all the flowers are out. Lots of places to picnic and there are plenty of benchs for enjoying a book or just the quiet. Also looked like a couple people were paragliding from there as it is a steep drop and floats down to numerous valleys. Also lots of great hiking trails in the area so get out of the car and wander.

If you are in the Baden-Baden and surrounding, want to make a very easy walk, go to the funicular station and go up for 6 euros. Funicular going and coming back every 6 minutes to arrive in the peak where you may find an observation tower, big antena and view points. Nice restaurant to have a traditional Black Forest cake. I recomend the coffee with ice-cream as well.

Fantastic experience above Baden Baden. Superb trip up the Bergbahn, amazingly steep at the top (over 50 percent gradient). The views are spectacular, lovely park area to wonder round. Enjoy a drink and traditional delicious German food in the restaurant terrace looking down on the Black Forest mountains. Then to top it all is the free observation tower and elevator for even more elevated views. A must visit attraction.

Merkurtum a place that you cannot miss out when you are in Badén-Badén (Black Forest). the view from the top of the mountain will take your breath away and you might get a chance to witness the intrepid skydivers!

Took the fanicula to the top. Great views from the tower . Good to see it has a lift for people with limited mobility. If you are able to walk there are a few more steps to reach the top. Panoramic views were fabulous.

Reachable using the Funicular Train up the hill. It is a big structure. But sadly it was all cloudy and visibility was absolutely zero. There is a small park nearby. But not much to do around.

This tower is free to climb and there is a lift available if you can't manage the many stairs (note, if you do use the lift there are still a few stairs you have to climb at the top). We ate at the restaurant just next to the top funicular railway station and the quality of food was very good. The children's play area was small but fun.

Worth taking the funicular up here for the views. At the top there is a pleasant grassy area with plenty of space to lay on the grass or sit at one of the picnic tables or loungers.

The winding staircase lead up to an indoor room with 360 windows to look out, unfortunately a fair bit of graffiti scrawled on the wall which ruin it a little.
