Bad experience. The restaurant looks good and nicely decorated. Saw good reviews of the food as well. But the service was terrible. We had a reservation and were ignored at the entrance, as other customers. No one dared to come and ask for 10 minutes. Then we were invited to wait (20 minutes after the reservation time) without any drink or anything. Had to leave. Need extra staff, if possible with a smile!!

Amazing sushi restaurant, we ordered a Sushi to Sashimi, all pieces were tasty and with great presentation. The meal also includes some starters and a small dessert. The staff were polite and fast to attend our needs. Great experience overall, and strongly recommend it for whoever enjoys sushi!

We had the best sushi and sashimi so far! The fish is exquisite and super fresh. You have to try the tuna special cut sashimi, it’s amazingly good ! When yoga trice they serve you a small aperitivo and they also offer you a small cup of fresh fruit and some caramel crackers at the end of dinner/lunch. I fully recommend this place. The prices might be high but it’s worth it !

A very average sushi experience for a higher-than average price. The quality of the fish was higher than most places in Portugal, but the preparation of most pieces was lacking- one piece of sashimi still had an errant scale clinging to it. The variety was a Brazilian/ Portuguese take on traditional sushi, which is not a bad thing, but a warning to those who are looking for an actually traditional plate. As an example, hot soup and fried food (part of the gratuity) were served before the sushi. According to a friend, it seems as if Tomo changed hands in the past year, and things may be different than what reviewers previous to that referred to. Our waitress didn't seem to have a grasp on Portuguese or English but still did her best to be helpful. High-price, average quality, understaffed. Overall, a pass.

Easily one of the best traditional sushi spots in Lisbon. The fish is super fresh and they have the best tuna you’ll probably eat on your life. They did a remodeling of the place some months ago which was one of their issues during the last couple of years and now the restaurant looks its part. The service is their only downside but ignore it and just eat the great fish. In terms of prices it’s also a great value for money, because if you look at similar level of restaurants you’ll easily pay more.

Best fish ever!! The most amazing fatty tuna (can't even think about it without salivating) and Mr. Sáif is a delight. Can't go wrong with this amazing sushi experience, fish is really the star at Tomo restaurant.

I have been going to tomo for a long time. Years have passed and still I think it's the best sushi in Portugal and the only true authentic sushi. Don't expect fruits or Philadelphia cheese because this is not fusion sushi... This is pure traditional sushi. Fish, rice and seaweed.
