I
had
never
surfed
before
prior
to
my
visit,
and
had
an
amazing
time!
The
surf
school
transported
us
to
and
from
Lisbon.
It
was
situated
in
a
great
location
attached
to
a
bar
with
a
beautiful
view
of
the
ocean.
Nino
and
Pedro
were
great
hosts
and
teachers
(with
what
sounded
like
a
ton
international
surfing
experience).
In
addition,
communication
was
great
with
the
school
(I
emailed
them
two
days
before
and
they
were
able
to
book
us
in,
though
it
wasn't
busy
season).
In
case

curious,
here's
how
it
works.
Prior
to
surfing,
we
learned
some
surfing
and
safety
basics
on
the
beach,
and
then
went
right
in
the
water!
It
was
a
little
hard
to
get
a
hang
of,
but
after
a
few
tries
everyone
in
our
group
was
able
to
catch
a
few
waves.
Our
instructor
Pedro
watched
us
closely
throughout
and
helped
us
understand
our
mistakes
so
that
we
could
progress.
Make
sure
you
wear
sunscreen,
keep
your
board
at
your
side,
pay
attention
to
waves
incoming,
and
keep
a
positive
attitude
:)
It
was
an
exhilarating
experience
that
I
look
forward
to
doing
again
at
some
point
in
my
travels!
