I’m truly baffled by the 5-star reviews y’all wrote on here. Despite trying my best to be nice to all the staff working at this location, as a person identified as gay standing with other members of the LGBTQ community and allies, I felt totally mistreated every time I came in for my appointment. Today’s not the first time they made me wait more than an hour to call me in. Last time the wait time was even longer.. it’s absurd that people arrive on time and still have to wait “centuries” even with appointments. What’s more absurd is that they couldn’t care less about whether your appointment is late or not whatsoever. One of the girls with orange hair is kinda rude. Her bad attitude is beyond my tolerance level. Most of the time I could tell that she was going through something unpleasant, but dear me at least she could take a deep breath or a short break to adjust herself instead of taking my politeness for granted? I felt like me being polite was really painting myself into a corner, as if I did something wrong. Hey hey hey! Listen girl, I get it. It’s a tough job. Dealing with that many patients every day ain’t easy. However, everyone absolutely deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. It would be great if you could read this review and put yourself in my shoes so that you’ll be able to understand where I’m coming from. Dianna, on the other hand, is very understanding, not judgmental and very honest and real with her advice! I loved how she always greeted me with smiles and answered all of my questions meticulously. She’s kind and professional. 10/10… omg I guess this’s is it. I’m like rambling right now, literally lol

Don't know how this place gets 5 star reviews. I set an appointment online for a infection. Came in for the appointment and the receptionist were nice. Waited about 10 minutes to be called had to pee in a cup then wait in a room to be seen by the doctor. They told me to pull down my pants and underwear to check for the infection and I waited about 1 hour and 30 minutes half naked waiting for the doctor to come in to do a 2 minute swab... after that they prescribed me my medicine and that was it. No follow up call. No calls for my results. I was interested in a pap smear but couldn't do it because of the infection but they never followed up call to schedule an appointment for it or anything. The doctor also didn't seem knowledgeable when I asked her questions about my concerns.... what kind of people are running this place?

I've been going here for over a year, usually my experience had been very good. Today however, was irritating. I got to my appointment 10 minutes early to check in and fill out paper work. the ladies at the front were very helpful, but I didn't get taken in until 2:40 an entire hour after my scheduled appointment. I had even seen one person come in 30 minutes after me and get taken in before I did. The reason this was irritating was because I was only coming in to get my birth control shot. Even when I got called in, i waited over 15 minutes to get the actual shot. Was waiting by myself for 10 of those minutes just for the clinician to ask questions then leave and the nurse came back to give me my shot. Any time I came in at most it only took 30 minutes for this entire process, even with paper work. This time it took nearly 2 hours after my scheduled appointment to get my shot. Only giving two stars for the experience because the front desk ladies were nice and the clinician did apologize, but nearly 2 hours after my scheduled appointment is ridiculous.

Went here a couple times without issues, friendly people. Came in today and had a poor experience with Jade (not sure if nurse or front desk staff or what). She came off as rude and tried to charge me without being able to tell me what the charge was for. Might have been having a bad day but was enough to make me go elsewhere

It’s always a pleasant experience coming here, and that’s so important to me for something as intimate as reproductive health. Josephine (front desk), Carol (nurse), and Sarah (clinician) were extremely sweet and receptive to my needs and questions. I’m so grateful for them and their services. They all do it with a smile and that’s very comforting in a setting as this.

This place is horrible and they try to double bill you. They are very greedy for their services. Rather than take responsibility for their double billing, they blame it on insurance. I had an appointment on Tuesday and it was for labs and a client visit. They wanted me to pay $80 for lab tests when my insurance pays labs at 100% for in network. Planned Parenthood is in network. I had my insurance documents to prove it. I told the lady that in the front that my insurance covers labs at 100% but they said they still need to charge me. I ended up not doing labs that day and just doing a clinical visit for $20. I called my insurance a couple days later and they told me I should pay nothing up front for the labs. My insurance even stated and documented on their end that they spoke to a representative at Planned Parenthood that confirmed I won't pay anything at the visit. I came back to the planned parenthood office and they demanded I pay $100, $80 for labs and they wanted to double bill another $20 to see a clinician again. I had already seen the clinician on Tuesday and they still demanded a double bill. It's sad because I liked the clinician I did see but the front desk is very confused on insurance plans and would rather charge high fees up front vs get a person's insurance benefits correct. This office is also very flakey. I was supposed to get a follow up email regarding a question I had during my appointment and I never did

Long patient wait times, inadequate staffing, and limited resources. Three factors whoever seeking immediate treatment should consider before they come here.

Felt so welcoming coming here, and I was scared to show up. Amazing people working here who care about their patients. They're respectful and try to make you feel comfortable.

Friendly staff and easy parking, but getting tired of them not knowing how to handle insurance. Every last visit I’d get charged full price and then I have to call my insurance and get them to refund me because it’s all covered. It’s so much hassle with all the back and forth, not worth it anymore. Also I hate how everyone can hear your business cause the lobby is so small. I thought PP was all about privacy. Lol

Receptionists were really nice and asked for preferred pronouns. The clinicians were really helpful in answering all my questions and I appreciate their honesty. I didn’t feel rushed or judged at all. There was a delay despite having an appointment, but I personally don’t mind.

This is literally the best planned parenthood I have ever been to. Hands down friendliest staff in LA

I recently visited this Planned Parenthood clinic, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The staff there, particularly the nurses who check patients in, were incredibly rude and unresponsive. They seemed to disregard my symptoms and cut me off mid-sentence when I shared too much information. Their questions were unclear, and I felt like they weren't really listening to me. In contrast, my previous experience at this clinic was much better. The employees made me feel safe and comfortable, communicating with me in a professional and compassionate manner. However, it now seems like they've hired a new staff that consists of ex-cholas with too many kids who are irritated with the world. The chubby nurse with blonde hair and glasses, in particular, has a terrible attitude that is highly unprofessional. I had to get up and refuse treatment because of her lack of professionalism. I strongly advise against wasting your time at this clinic as the staff's behavior will make you feel very uncomfortable. Their lack of professionalism is appalling, and I'm disappointed that Planned Parenthood would allow such individuals to represent their organization.
