They promise far more than they deliver. My kids never learned how to swim. I found out weeks later that my little one almost drowned, and was lost on one of the field trips. They refused my request to volunteer even though I am a fully credentialed teacher. I believe that it was because the place is run by kids, and they were hiding how bad conditions were. Think twice before leaving your kids here.

Worked here about 5.5 years ago at the summer day camp. It was extremely disorganized that year and run by very young staff ( I was the oldest at 22, my "boss" was 20). We tried our best but lacked the experience and training to care for that many kids at a time. In the beginning, there was a slightly older man and woman who were running it and then the man dissapeared and the woman seemed to get demoted. It was strange. The director who oversaw everything was nice to me once and then extremely rude to me. I think she yelled at me in front of my "boss" for not being able to prevent a student with ASD from entering a room where an activity was taking place with another set of students. Having two kids now, one with ASD, makes me realize how many things were wrong with the program that year. I hope it has changed. I probably should have posted this years ago but I just thought of it again right now and it made me upset.

Is the gym for kids or adults? I thought there were age restrictions on the gym and it was for adult use only? Every time I come here there's a classroom full of elementary school kids using up all the machines and equipment. Dangerous for kids to be horseplaying in the adult gym, that's what a jungle gym outside is for. Also every time I've asked staff for help over the phone and in person they're so incredibly rude.

I first sent in my job application about 2 months ago and they never replied back to me until I called them directly to the directors almost every week. Worse place ever, bad work place environment, cant even work there because of another employee starts to blame you for false information about me, and the communication there is horrible makes you wait for 3 weeks and on going for almost probably 2 months already. Some great people work there but some of them are just desperate to blame others and don't really care about you or the community that is built in this place. FYI : Don't work or bring your kids here at this ymca, not worth working or spending your money, since the field trips are like 30 dollars, and really they just take you on somewhere like the park or etc for free so that they can make more profit. Its better to just spend time with your kids going someplace else that is fun instead of wasting like 100 bucks for something that is not worth the price. They really need to step up their game. This place sucks. We get injuried here way to many times emotionally and physically. I DEMAND that they FIRE KEVIN GARCIA . He is a bad influence and does not know how to deal with children. We even GOT FLEAS FROM THUS DUMB ASS PLACE. Just because they force us to sit in the nasty ass grass that's dead. Don't be fooled by the flires with happy children. They were forced to stand there for a good picture. Don't bring you kids here if you want them to be happy. All there field trips are $30 when the places you take you are actually free. Everything here is donated the money you spent on your kids here are not gonna be used on them. That's why the ppl get paid more than minimum wage. The counselor have no patients and last year there was an abusive counselor that finally got fired. Good riddance. All and all this place sucks and I DONT recommend ANYONE to COME here for summer camp.

My initial experiences were positive: the gym is adequate enough, hours are workable, rate ($30 for young adults) was reasonable. But over time, there have been a bunch of negative experiences that have added up: 1) They require you to cancel your membership 30 days in advance, which is not clear, and very inconvenient (especially given that there is no easy way to contact their office or manage your membership online). 2) There website is non-functional. They don't have a (working) place to manage your membership (like the LA Y does) or even an email you can use to contact their office 3) They are part of the reciprocal Y program, which allows you to visit any Y in the country. However, they have never actually inputted my name into the system, which has lead to me being denied at other Y's. 4) They close the locker rooms for kids programs without much notice. As someone who freelances, its really nice to be able to know that I can shower and change when away from home and going to another meeting. I recently had to go to a business meeting without showering (not ideal)

Honestly , I don’t have nothing bad to say for this location. We took a mini tour before signing up with my family and we all decided to join because pool, playing ground outside, dance/cardio lesson and my favor spot it’s the weight room. Staff are nice and professional , bathroom are clean and staff make sure to clean equipment when not used . I keep it to myself when I go workout which mean ( I’m in & out) . People just have to grow up because they have so much expectations for ymca comparing it to multi million corporations like equinox , La Fitness, 24 and planet fitness. Hello wake up only reason we sign up for any gym in general is (1) to get fit , You don’t have to worry about what other people are doing or how they look around you when you’re there . (2) if you don’t like it simple JUST CANCELS , so I can have more room for myself to workout . (3)YMCA WAS BUILT IN THE FIRST PLACE TO HELP IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY (build relationships, help the people and Family, get kids involved in sports ect . What gym does that ???? Name one . Please majority of the gyms I mention , all they want is your $$$ . but on another note I’m happy were I am . Thanks 🤙🏾

They promised a lot, but they have kids running everything. They refused to let me volunteer (I'm a certificated teacher) because they don't want anyone to see how unsupervised the kids are. My 3.5 year old almost drowned and they lost him on one of the fieldtrips. The only reason why I know is because his older brother told me. They never had a conversation with me about it. My kids also came home missing their belongings. If it happened once in a while, I wouldn't have been concerned, but it shows how little they are supervised. I paid over 3,000 for this care, and they never learned how to swim.

My son goes to their Summer camp program. Very convenient as you can drop off your child anytime after 7:30 am and pick them up as late as 5:30pm. They have weekly field trip. A nice pool on-site to swim in 2 or 3 times a week. Counselors are nice. Great option for working parents.

I'm only giving two stars because of the nice volunteer there but overall the staff are highly disrespectful.

My son goes to day camp here and the counselors and school nurse are really attentive with the kids. My son has lots of fun here every day with all of the different activities they plan for the kids.

Ridiculous so called nonprofit organization. As a customer, they have not received any payments due to my bank accounts closure, it should have been an automatic cancellation or contact customers for confirmation situations but this place decided to build up a balance on customer even tho when customer have stopped using their facility and service since!!! You will not get a penny from me and you are for sure losing my business!! Unbelievable
