Fried Music is a wonderful place to learn and the owners Ben and Connie are incredibly kind and forward-thinking musicians. It's a blast working with them and I would highly recommend anyone interested in taking lessons or attending music classes reach out to them! Plus, the space itself always smells really good and all the natural sunlight makes for a warm and inviting environment.

Fried Music is uniquely positioned to fill a gap in Los Angeles by offering a conservatory atmosphere for adults as well as children and teens. When you enter, at any time of day, you will hear musicians practicing, creating an environment that generates enthusiasm in anyone who has learned, has wanted to learn, or is starting to learn an instrument. Although the teachers are all professional musicians, what distinguishes the faculty is their love of teaching. I am thrilled to be a student in the burgeoning adult studies department which offers chamber music for adult players at all levels. Your ensemble will be coached by excellent musicians from all over the Los Angeles area. Being part of the adult studies program, you have performance opportunities at the end (and sometimes mid) semester where you can not only perform with your chamber music ensemble, but also play the solo pieces you've been working on in your lessons -- even if your private teacher is not at Fried Music!

Excellent music lessons by teachers who want to bring out the best in their students. Connie and Ben and their team are fabulous and genuinely care about their students. My kids have learned so much here and have really accelerated their music skills. The studio has lots of practice rooms available so you can go warm up ahead of time.

6/20/2023 I came to the nearby fast food restaurant for lunch today, and unexpectedly I happened to meet a friend who parked here. He said that his son was learning piano here and said that I would go and have a look after dinner. I went up to take a look. I used to attend a music school and was interested in art. This place is quite small, but I think the size of the university lies in Mingmingde, not in the size of Guangsha! It should be good here! I came to the fast food restaurant next door for lunch today, and I happened to meet a friend who parked here. We enjoy coming to Fried Music. The teachers are very patient in working with my son, who has ADHD and mild autism. We enjoy going to the recitals, where the teachers and staff are encouraging and supportive. The waiting area is bright and quiet. The location is close to many restaurants, for parents who wish to wait while having food and drink. There are individual music rooms. Students have the opportunity to take music theory and music composition, which are offered by some teachers.

Since joining the Fried Music pre-college program, I've seen a remarkable improvement in my son's motivation to practice and playing violin. His level of play has improved significantly over the year at Fried Music, but, more importantly, his enjoyment from playing music has also increased notably. This is thanks to the dedicated work of Connie, Ben and their wonderful staff and faculty.

What a fantastic venue for music lessons and music education. Run by Dr Ben Fried and Dr Connie Kim-Sheng, and taught by a wonderful staff of professional instrumentalists , this has been a great place for kids (and adults) to learn and enjoy music. The Alhambra community is fortunate to have this place
