Hands down the best Vietnamese sandwich in Southern California. Before I came to this sandwich shop, I thought I had my best banh mi at Banh Mi Cali in Rosemead. I have to tell you, this place has the best and most authentic Banh Mi sandwiches in the San Gabriel valley. As some of the yelp reviewers indicated that the Banh mi here reminded them of Vietnam. I have to agree. The taste of sandwiches are fantastic. I feel they are in par with the ones made in Saigon during my last year’s trip there. That’s why I was not surprised with the guy standing next to me in line telling me that he had come from Santa Monica to wait in line for the sandwich. For those of you wanting to have a true experience of Vietnam Banh Mi, I highly recommend to get #8. The meat is tender and tasty. The sauce and pickle vegetables enhance the Banh mi flavor. Craving for egg rolls? They have one of the best in town. The price is cheap. Get a dozen for lunch for your kids or yourself. This is a great side appetizer to go with the sandwich. Don’t forget to ask for a small cup of fish sauce to dip the egg rolls in. The owner was nice and kind. She was very efficient getting our order done. She has an amazing memory. She knows exactly what we ordered.

Definitely the best banh mi I've had in LA county! I recommend the #8 charboiled pork sandwich, #B egg (op la) sandwich, and their iced coffee. I've motorcycled from south to north Vietnam, and this is as close as you're going to get to an authentic tasting op la banh mi! IG: kay_okay_eat

Food is still great! Prices of sandwiches gone up to about $5 bucks a sandwich but the quality has stayed the same and its good! I usually get the grilled pork here and they still make it juicy and flavorful as always. Spring rolls and grilled pork meatballs are great additions as sides. This will always be my go to Banh Mi place.

The best Vietnamese sandwich you could possibly get!!!! And very very reasonable. Can get crowded, especially around lunchtime.

Food: 5 stars. Very nice Vietnamese sandwich. The grill pork and grill beef marinade sauce is super good. Juicy and not too dried like Lee. Vietnamese Mayonnaise sauce tastes super good. Their mini flour cake is cute and taste good too. I saw a lot of people buy their coffee but I am not Vietnamese coffee lover. You can have a try. Price: 5 stars. It is friendly. We bought 5 sandwich and 1 bag of mini flour cake like $32 for 6 people. Definitely very cheap Togo food for a lunch. It worth than you get a hamburger 😜 Service: 5 stars. We asked for veggies put separately because my husband is home late tonight. They package individual bag veggie for each sandwich while other Vietnamese sandwich shop just gave me a huge bag of it. So I gave it 5 stars service. Overall, I like this sandwich place. Cheap price for good quality food. Definitely recommend you to give it a try.

Haven't been here in ages, pass by to grab a #2 to go. It has everything in it and it's fully loaded with goodies. Still as good as I remembered and still a long line as usual. Love the banh Mi here... Will definitely be back for more

Was looking for a good Vietnamese sandwich spot and Banh Mi My Tho was suggested by a friend and let me tell you, the charbroiled pork banh mi sandwich (number 8 in the photo) lives up to the hype. Very tasty marinated and grilled to perfection. There is usually a long line especially on weekends and try to go early because they are prone to run out of things later in the day.

Damn cheap Banh Mi $4.50 for a #2. It's delicious, but according to many reviews it's top ranking and often has a long wait line. Well came over on a Sunday morning shortly after 7am, there's no wait. And ordered the meatballs on a skewer $3.99 as well, they were both good but to me not a "wait in long line" good as I've tried many competitors in LA and elsewhere as well. Small, take out place only.

Banhmi here is good and seems to be a popular place. There was a line out the door, the morning we visited. While the Banhmi was pretty good, I have had better. In a crunch I would come here but I wouldn’t make a special trip.

Stopped by for a couple of sandwiches today. A couple of tips…bring cash AND there is no place to eat here. Your order will be “to go”. My husband had the beef and said it was good (#9) I had the chicken #4 and the overall taste was fine…the chicken was practically ground so the texture was not great.

Like they say, early bird catches the worm! We were here quite early around 715am and yes even at that time there was a line. The lady in front of me ordered maybe 6-8 sandos, I only wanted two and because of her order I had to wait 15-20 mins, I heard the shop owner call out her number and I thought mine would’ve been ready since I was standing there patiently, I was surprised when I noticed she gave me the bag that was sitting here before the other person w a large order got hers? Why would she do that when my order was ready? How long was it there? Nonetheless, I was disappointed knowing I could’ve been on my way a while ago…. Try not to eat the sando in the car because damn crumbs were all over the place! But overall, the flavor and taste of the combo sando was delish, too bad they don’t add jalapenos in them. I prefer their other location but this wasn’t bad since I was already in the area! Lets talk about the sando – Fresh, crunchy and flavorful. All the cold cuts were tasty especially with the house-made egg yolk mayo! Cilantro always brings out the herbaceous freshness, crunch from the cuke, pickled daikon and carrots and the pate pulls all the flavor together.

One of the better places to get banh mi in the 626 area. There's usually a line to order. Would recommend calling ahead and placing the order.

It's a mom & pop store, sometimes their son helps out. It's busy, but it goes pretty fast, and their vietnamese sandwich is awesome. We only like the pork sandwich.

The number 2 Combination sandwich was the most meat filled combo sandwich I've ever had seemed to have more and better meat than the BBQ one. 9/10

This place is one of my go-to banh mi places. The line is always long, so it's best to give yourself some time to order and receive your food. The place is small so the l8nes reach out the doors easily. Orders and pick-up lines are the same, so beware of that as well. They're only take out, so no dine-in.

Sandwiches are better than most, but I've noticed over the years ALL Bahn mi sandwiches just don't taste as good as before. That goes for all restaurants, including ones in Westminster. Maybe I'm just getting old, but they're definitely not as good anymore. The Chinese tamales are really good here. Very authentic. Plenty of parking and usually a small line up, but fast. Across from the old Sir George's. Some originals will know what I'm talking about.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. It is one of my favorite banh mi places!! Plenty of parking but the line is always SUPER long!!! I recommend ordering ahead (you still have to stand in the same line which is stupid but at least you don’t have to wait for your food to be made). Prices are reasonable and the sandwiches and spring rolls are soooo good! I usually get #8 the grilled pork sandwich. And the pork spring rolls (SO good, especially with the sauce)!! There is no dine in, the place is super tiny and cramped. It’s all to go!

A real gem in the San Gabriel Valley. There are plenty of places to get banh mi but this places continues to make one of the best tasting CHICKEN banh mi you’ll find anywhere. It is shredded chicken with pickled veggies inside a fresh baguette. Absolutely delicious and for a great price. Parking is easy with a private small. Not too big not too small. Overall: Will return for chicken banh mi

Found this place with high reviews on Google and wanted to try out. It may have been an unlucky day for me as I had to get a refund without receiving my order. I placed an order ahead of many others and they all received their orders. I gave it more time as they seemed busy, but as the 40 minute mark hit for my 2 banhmi I thought it was getting ridiculous. They looked at my order and said sorry we ran out of bread, but we can take out the big order and give you but it won't be your meat you ordered. Well of course not, I ordered my specific items because I don't eat beef. Thought that was very unprofessional and didn't make sense as they were serving up orders.

Small hole in the wall mom and pop shop. Call your order ahead as the preferred method. Bread is crispy so fair warning if you don't want crumbs in your car. Note that prices has went up and their about $6 per authentic vietnamese sandwiches. (Picture is a #2 Special Sandwich - all the cold cute, grilled pork & pate)

Had a Dr. Appt down the street so I decided to get some Banh Mi sandwiches for my coworkers. Drove up at around 9 am and just one person ahead of me in line paying for her items. Order 9 sandwiches including two vegetarian "C" sandwiches. Glad I was there early as a short line formed after I got my order in. The sandwiches were done in less than 15 minute and they were delicious. My coworkers loved them including the vegetarians in the group. The gal at the front was really nice. Will definitely come here again!
