This place is getting old and little run down. The cushions on our bench had a bunch of rips in them. The veneers on the tables were peeling. The place had bunch neon and stainless steel giving it a night club feel to it. The floor was made of different materials. The concrete part may once been carpeted once, because it looked unfinished. As food, it was completely underwhelming. The cuts were uneven. Our a beef bulgogi came as two large chunks. The "premium" steak was not trim correctly. There still bits of gristle left. Service was OK. They came round often for the next order of meat, but not for grill changes. Our first grill was almost complete back before they changed it.

This was a fabulous choice for lunch. It was a $27 fixed price per person all you can eat KBBQ. You grill the meat yourself. We got a bunch of different meats and they were all pretty good! We also got lychee soju — I like grape soju soju better still. The KBBQ place was fancy and clean, but I’ve had better KBBQ experiences in ktown. Better as in, the service was that they grilled the meats for us, the side dishes had more options, the meat just tasted better? But Gen korean bbq house had really good tasting meat honestly, I’d say if you’re looking for lunch in the area or kbbq in the area come here. the only issue we had was that the QR code for the menu wasn’t loading and that might be annoying for someone whose really hungry; we had to wait for them to bring us pics of the menu… but I guess it depends if you’re patient or not! The pics below aren’t the best bc some of them are cropped but overall the food tasted good and it was delicious.

Me and my girlfriend come here so often. But the food and service is top notch. I'm a regular here.

I only have one thing to say: It is one of the BEST Korean restaurant I've ever been !! The food is sooooo delicious and very decent price. A must visit!! Expect a 30 to 45 minutes wait on weekdays and up to 2 hours on weekends. But it's truly worth the wait!!

I’m not a huge fan of Korean bbq food but this place was good and the service was fast and good by our server. I did enjoy the environment and it was fun cooking our food, I had a good time even though it was a bit pricey but overall I would give it 4 1/2 stars!

At just over $30 a person for all you can eat, this place is dangerous for the wallet. I would come here everyday if I could. Top quality meats, impeccable service. My party of three had to wait 45 minutes to be seated in the evening, but it's absolutely worth the wait. They don't do reservations by phone.

Staff is so rude especially the hostess. Only 1 waiter was actually nice or helpful. I forgot my sunglasses and came back to get them and the hostess was once again rude to me… definitely go across the street to the non franchised place.(Road to Seoul)

When we walked inn as a party of 4 the waiters sat us at a table we didn’t like. We asked her to switch tables, and her response was “ usually we give those table to bigger parties, but feel free to switch if you would like to”. 20 minutes after we were served a similar table right next to us with a party of 1 person somehow magically was able to get similar table as we are setting on by him self “alone”. Not mentioning when we asked for oil, the waitress said“ we don’t serve oil here” we ended up asking another waitress for the little plate that you serve oil/salt/soy and they say they have it….. not sure why that service if we are bringing business to you…….. really disappointed and disgusted by how rude the waitresses were. I do not recommend going to this location.

We love eating at this restaurant. The quality of the meat is good and the seasonings make it very flavourful. The side dishes are good as well. The best is their version of mashed potatoes, super delish! My favorite meats are the Hawaiian steak, beef bulgogi, garlic samgyubsal and spicy samgyubsal. This is a nice restaurant to hang out with friends and fam so we come quite often ha!

Good, Good!! All food taste soft and fresh the waitress that attended us was very nice was my first time and for sure I'll be coming back

This was and my wife's first time trying a Korean BBQ. It was very good. I highly recommend the Hawaii Beef and the rice cakes. Both were absolutely amazing. The staff were great, especially Ethan.

Nice modern vibes. Music is high energy, I didn’t mind. My party thought was too loud. Leg room may be a problem for some. There is a public parking structure nearby, a plus. 4 hours free. The foods were delicious! Quality met. 4 yrs n under eats free. The macaroon ice cream sandwiches are not included, can be purchased additionally. Saturday and Sunday is dinner menu all day.

Our server Bertram was amazing, it was our first visit and he helped walk us through the entire experience. We gave him carte blanche to bring what he recommended for the second round and he did not disappoint. I highly recommend coming here.

Meat quality is very good, we loved short rib and finger ribs, service is good too, lunch is 20$ and dinner is 27$ all you can eat

Great food selection. Staff is very attentive and mindful of keeping your table grill clean. The ambiance in this location is modern with lots of natural lighting. Drink selection could be wider, but overall, great choices.

We got seated in the very back. We sat down and waited for about a good 20 minutes with no service. We got up and started to walk out the door. We told the host that no one came to help, and their response was, "Oh ok." Not a care in the world. And to top it off, it was not busy at ALL! So we walked across the street to the other KBBQ on the corner, and their service was AMAZING! (Date of visit 7/8/23)

Came here for a friend and my birthday celebration last month and had a good time. Hadn't been here since before the shutdown. After coming back, I noticed that there were some new items and some items that were taken away. The food was mostly delicious. There were some marinated items that we weren't too particularly fond of. The hostess was awesome, as was our server. The only issue we had was having to ask 3-4 times for refills on our ban chan. Other than that, they were on it with our food and drink orders. There were a handful of times that we were served someone else's items. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will come back again if I'm in the mood for kbbq.

Food was super great I loved it and it was a great experience. They do charge you if you leave a plate unfinished so chose your meat wisely otherwise it's super amazing and I'm definitely going back again with the hubs.!

They were a bit understaffed that we had to wait at the counter to check in a bit over 5 minutes just to get a staff member to come take our name or sit down. But other than that, the food was delicious, and our waiter was very attentive and fast.

We really enjoyed our visit/dinner. The food was great, the servers were efficient and fast but Kayla, our waitress was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, friendly and on top of anything we needed. We trusted her enough to just order whatever the top sides and meats were and we are glad that we did. The food was delicious. We will definitely return.

The prices were reasonable and the service was fantastic. Even though we had to wait for a table, we were able to get on a waitlist and were seated within 30 minutes. However, I have to admit that the stool seats were a bit uncomfortable, especially if you are going on a date. Overall, it was a good experience.
