This store is closing. Not much is left: some food, but mostly toys and household goods like comforters, sheet sets, decorations, and area rugs. Everything is discounted, but mostly just 5% or 10% off, with a few items discounted more, like 25% or 40% off; for most items, I didn't think the prices were very good, even after the discount. I used to come here for good prices on cereals, snacks, hydrogen peroxide, isopropyl alcohol, and sheets & pillowcases; I presume other Big Lots! stores still have these items, but most of them are gone now at this store. Overall, Grocery Outlet and Food 4 Less have better prices and more items I want, but Big Lots! has more nonfood, household goods. They especially had the best prices I could find on peroxide and rubbing alcohol.

I came to check out this store one hour before closing and ten minutes later they were kicking everyone out. Not, there's only 30 min before check out, blah blah, blah. It's more like, I don't care if you have items get out you can't purchase it because we're closing. We'll, it was very easy to just leave because, my first impression was this places carries very cheap, old items for a high price. I wouldn't buy anything here, not even for my pets. Looks like a recall, resell store.

This review is more of an update for folks in the North Pasadena neighborhood that this Big Lots location on Lake Avenue is closing for business in the next couple of days. Everything left in the store is 50 or more percent off. I got a good haul today of protein bars for me and flamin hot snacks for my wife. It was funny to look at the receipt and see the amount of money discounted was more than the amount of money I spent. The snacks and soda drinks isle had the most stock of the remaining isles. So, if you want to get 50 percent off some soda and chips today or tomorrow I recommend that you head over Big Lots and they will hook you up.

They have terrific deals 75 percent off the Christmas dec. Skipped Valentines and its all about Easter😍. The Manager who was on duty Friday Jan 14 22 should be commended. The Young man who handled my situation extremely professional. I was not happy with one of his employees however the manager calmed me down and addressed the matter in a non combative manner. He appeased me and hopefully calmed down his employee. (Although, I did catch the employee snickering and rolling his eyes). However, it didn't take away from the professionalism of the manager!!

I can get mostly everything from home furniture to items for decorating your house inside and out. So sorry to hear that another one is going out of business.

Typical deep discount store. Lots of variety, new items daily. Fun just to CV cruise around and check out what's new.

Really good store, friendly staff, lots of parking. This Big lots has really good deals on snacks such as nature valley bars, trail mix, variety pack chips, ext. Also, they have very good deals on DVDs and video games. I got this one for $6 bucks for my 360. I would say this is one of the best discount stores currently in Pasadena I've seen so far. Keep up the good work!

The times I bought large furniture items, the clerks made the sale as smooth as possible. They were helpful with the loading. Awesome store, please don't leave us

I went in today because my mom was looking for patio decor. We were only looking for that so I decided to ask for help.. Not very helpful lol. I had to get their attention twice even after waiting a little bit for them to respond the first time.. so weird. A lady with red hair responded to me very rudely and with attitude like if I had no right to interrupt her.. I’ve never had anyone respond that rudely to me when I just had a simple question but luckily not all the workers were like that. The older man at the register was very patient and calm! I wish I would’ve gotten his name but he was great!

This is the biggest big lots I've seen. One staff member was extremely great. I asked for the bake section. He took his time to walk me to the area. He even checked on the cost of an item. Love this place ❤

Isles are not ADA accessible. My parents could not make it down the isle because they had these huge posts in the walkway.

Excellent location. This location always maintains a steady variety of items available for purchase. Food, furniture, household necessities, outdoor lights, patio furniture etc. Excellent, excellent staff.Always very helpful staff.Restroom facilities always clean and available. Love this location.

I Had been looking for this specific fireplace tv stand for a while now 😅 but finally got it!🙌 this big lots was the nearest location. And the service was awesome 👌 👏 I even found some archway cookies that only come out in christmas time😂 TY TY TY FOR THE GREAT SERVICE

Good customer service but signing for a lease is difficult and even if you get a single question incorrect you have to call the company and ask them why but other than that it was great!

When one comes in, the crew maybe told to greet immediately, whereas comes to asking them questions or opinions on products and brands, they just go with the motion, and offer some obvious cliche answers.

Good selection of Christmas decor, gift wrapping and gifts in general. Canned goods, clothing for the family and home goods. Public restrooms and lots of parking, inside shopping center lot.

Cashiers very friendly, they greet you when entrance. Good items on clearance, and a lot of new stuff. I really like it

Big lots is very clean, cashier was very fast. They had great stuff for kids gifts, and a lot of other great items.

I was visiting family and stopped here to grab some pot holders. What a super and nice Big Lots! Clean, spacious, shelves stocked. The cashier was very helpful. I'm a senior who didn't know how to use my digital wallet. She was so patient and helped me figure it out.

Great place to get furniture, patio furniture and more

This big lots has some great things. From home decor to toys. I went on July 23 2022 and they had different disney character sets for girls and character socks. I also like it because they have real littles toys. They currently have some Halloween decor

I was very happy with the prices and the customer service was amazing and full of joy I left there smiliy
