In my opinion, best restaurant in town. Great people for service, authentic and creative cuisine, overall very pleasant experience. Loved it.

This was my first impression but boy oh boy did it go downhill after this; Wow. Just wow. Amazing service, fabulous food and a splendid time. Everything here is good (though not my favorite Bravas) - just chat with the staff whether you speak Spanish or not, they are the most lovely people in all of Alicante First evening was amazing. Second evening the food was great but the atmosphere was sad (Wednesday), the waiter was unfriendly and they charged us 40 euro for 4 shrimps because of a strike. Maybe mention that when ordering… Huge disappointment. Unfortunately seemed like a Tourist trap on second visit- added items to the bill that were not served . When we complained they added 70€ to the bill in another “mistake”. Glasses and cutlery was dirty. Food is good therefore 3 stars but would not recommend.

One of my favourite places. 100% love this place. Amazing food, sit at the bar and order everything you can eat. You can book for the upstairs more formal tables, same menu as the bar but totally different vibe. Solid wine list and service. The slow cooked egg is amazing totally amazing. Would recommend this place 100%.

Not sure what the excitement is about. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes? We had the mussels with red curry, meatballs, pig's trotters and beef with mushrooms and foie. The mussels were delicious but the curry flavor was too strong, it overpowered the flavor of the mussels, therefore it wasn't balanced. The meatballs were bland. The pig's trotters were inedible. Nothing but fat. We took it home for our dogs. The beef was chewy and it was drowning in sauce. The dessert that was highly recommended, cream puff pastry and caramel sauce, was pure sugar. Maybe good for kids for a sugar high. The service and atmosphere is great though.

One of the most DISAPPOINTING food experiences we've had. 28€ (per person) for a completely tasteless arroz/paella. The rice was super dry and topped with the tiniest portion of fish you've ever seen. Except for 3 tiny prawns per person the paella didn't include any other seafood. Take a look at the picture and ask yourself if you think it's worth the price and keep in mind that the taste is way below average. Starters were ok, but nothing special. Service was chaotic and we got the wrong amount of croquettes. Do yourself a favour and go to any other place instead of this overpriced, overhyped restaurant.

Great local red wine, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Food was delicious. (So good that I forgot to take pictures before I started!). Tapas and Red wine. Perfect

Ok, so the food was good. It’s definitely an experience sitting at the bar. But it’s waaaay too expensive for what it is, imho. During our dinner, multiple times the cooks put drinks right in front of my face to only have another waiter pick it up and take it to the other customers. 🫣 Note that they did have an area to pass drinks from the kitchen to the dining room. The soufflé (way too sweet) took 30m to make even though we were promised 10 and they forgot the coffee.

Famous restaurant in Alicante where you shouldn’t miss its lively bar counter, always crowdy and noisy. No booking allowed. Just come in and wait your turn that sometimes will take a while. Excellent product, specially seafood but also jam, rices and even meat. Extensive wine list, more affordable than the options by the glass. Not cheap at all but a must when in town. The owners have other options in the city as Piripi and Populi bistró.

The most delicious fish I have ever had, and i’m not a seafood person! The selection of the desserts weren’t as good they forgot to mention that their cheese ice cream is actually goat cheese! I ordered and I couldn’t eat it at all! the restaurant’s bathrooms weren’t as nice and were kind of smelly and old + the elevator!

Very exquisite place, unlike other Spanish restaurants. Very clean, delicate, tasty and good looking place. Rather expensive, but it worth it.

Great food, exceptional service and nice atmosphere. Best Russian salad I’ve had in Spain, croquettes and squid were perfect as well. Great wine choice. I suggest to sit by the bar.

Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic food and great service. By far the best tapas restaurant I've been to. I've been here three times, and it's not the last. I recommend standing in line before they open at 8.15 PM to get seats at the bar.

Good food, taste was really nice. The service was a bit slow even at 60% occupancy. The ambience was noisy but not unbearable. One of the nicer restaurants in Alicante, not exactly a budget end place. Mussels in what was a Thai curry type paste in coconut milk, was a nice dish along with croquettes.

We were so lucky to have gotten seats on a busy Saturday! We showed up at a perfect time; 15 mins before they open for lunch and joined the line of people already waiting outside. Once the doors opened, everyone poured in and just took up whatever seat they could find at the bar. You can also head upstairs to the restaurant but we preferred the energy and vibe of the bar. There’s a beauty to the chaos of the ordering system and our waiter, Jose, was amazing! He had to take orders from all of us, serve, and manage the rest of the people in line waiting for their tables and getting a drink. Lunch took us 2 hours even though we were seated immediately upon opening. We thoroughly enjoyed most dishes we picked and will be happy to do a detour out to Alicante just to have a meal here again!

Lovely experience here. Food, staff, atmosphere. Perfect lunch stop for our trip from Valencia to Granada. Mullet fish, cod clam paella and puff pastry. All nice. Best experience with front of house. Super happy!

We had a wonderful dinner at Nou Manolin. Everything was delicious and our server Alicia took very good care of us. Thank you to the servers and cooks for making our dinner a great experience.

Excellent experience. Came here for quick snack however burrata was so great prepared I ordered burger. Buns alone and meat with fries aside. Nothing special, simple - first impression until I bit. Service, food, vibe - strongly recommend!

1. Was here with company (70+ People), top floor, had a great dinner and good service. 2. Came back the day after, alone for lunch, and sat at the bar. Great vibe, fantastic food and atentative service. Thank you for a great last lunch before going home!

Our second visit at the gastro bar on the ground floor. Just as fun and crazy as the first time we were here. A bit difficult if you cannot speak Spanish but as long as you can point out what you want it seems okay 😁

Spectacular food and service. Ivan was serving us for most of the time at the bar and was super attentive. Food was faultless. Bot the first time we've been there and it won't be the last.

Great food and found a good wine from 1999. Great atmosphere but darn hard to find a parking nearby. I wish they had a tasting tapas menu etc which has a set meal for tourist. It’s easier that way for us but the waiter was kind enough to help us. I wish also they had more wines matured as well like Ribera del Duero but their reasoning was that it’s hard to age Ribera del Duero as rioja has better successful rate of aging.

Well for a reason is one of the best in town. I’ll go back to this place every time I visit Alicante. What a beautiful place. Service outstanding. Freshness of food is incredible. Dessert was really good.

Amazing food and service from Manuel at the bar, who provided great wine and food recommendations, and was unfailingly responsive despite a busy evening. The best ham croquetas and fish buñuelos I had over a week in Alicante.
