Please do not even consider having food from there. Either these people are buying your ordered food from small shops outside and garnishing and giving you or they have absolutely no idea about basic cooking. We went there for lunch and ordered starters and main course. Starters came after 45 mins , which was not properly cooked and had to be sent back to be returned a little better. Main course came after 75mins of order and chicken hyderabadi, paneer butter masala, chicken butter masala all had the same gravy with small pieces. Jeera rice was uncooked and was full of jeera, Dal fry was maybe cooked for 5mins. You don't expect such horrible food quality and ignorance from a hotel that has been there for more than a century(as per them). The front office manager when questioned about it said " you can leave a review on google Sir". No apology, no other response. And you should see the waiter cleaning the waste from the table and dumping it in the bowl he bought roti. The waiters were ignorant, so were the other hotel staff. Hats off to your pathetic hospitality Saanaira team.

Great location, ordinary food, ordinary rooms, doesn't have any wow factor. Problem is The only other 'good' hotel on the beach seems to be the Mayfair, which would be beyond reach of most individuals. Gopalpur is still significantly behind in development compared to Puri..

The best thing is the location of this hotel. It is just beside the sea beach and very nice ambience particularly at evening and night. We got very nice welcome and warm welcome. Rooms are also wel maintained. Hotel restaurant available and it's good. Staffs are very helpful and particularly we got very nice sight seeing plan from Mr. Bimalji. Mr. Raman was always ready to guide in any issue. Great stay, loved gopalpur, sunapur and tampara lake. Thank you keep it up. Just one suggestion, if hotel management can keep the beach clean. Thank you.

Right on the beach with direct access. Good rooms but the pool water was dirty so we could not use it. The route shown by Google maps is wrong. Make sure you come from the south side of the beach and not the north side.

Where do I even begin with this nightmare of a hotel? The staff seemed to have mistaken hospitality for hostility, with a level of rudeness that would make a grumpy cat seem charming. The food tasted like it had been salvaged from a dumpster behind a fast food joint, and I wouldn't be surprised if it had been. As for the service, I'm pretty sure I saw a tortoise move faster than the wait staff here. Overall, if you enjoy being treated like garbage while eating garbage, this is the place for you. Only good thing about this place is the location.

Location was bang on. Right on the beach and it was perfect. The staff was very helpful.. everything was seemleds. Yes the room size could have been bigger as given the price point. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

Please do not book this hotel. It’s absolutely in shams. Zero maintenance, peeling paint coat is rooms, smelling bathrooms with no exhaust, dirtiest linen, pathetic food. They charge a bomb for its location but it’s worthless. It seems that the promoter of this hotel is either bankrupt or is no more interested in maintaining this property. Absolute Sham. It was my first visit to Gopalpur. Sanaira have everything to provide a perfect holiday. Room, Food, Ambience, Staff Services and Behaviour is excellent. Specially Ms. Revati and Ms. Hemma they are so polite and have a smiling face that it feels so homely. Will revisit this place soon and for a longer stay.

This hotel is only good for its location. Everything else is bad. No service has been provided. Food quality is bad and too much costly. AC was not working. If you have enough money to spend then you can go for it. I wont recommend anyone for this hotel.

Lovely location and beautiful property but. There is serious problems with upkeepment of the property. Room service is non existent there is no room cleaning or housekeeping. INTER COM Phones do not work , the menu QR given in the rooms don't work the tea/coffee kit is not available. AC is not working so we were shifted to another room Ground floor which was damp and smelly However food was good and tasty yet very expensive

We love to stay in your property again and again but we have few suggestions as indicated below: 1. Rooms : Considering the tariffs there are lot of room for further improvement,e.g,Toilets -taps and other fittings not functioning properly.AC needs servicing.Rooms at Ground Floor where we stayed was not big enough to feel us comfortable. However there is no issue relating cleaning. 2. Please re-look the pricing of food items .It’s beyond reach. 2 pcs of Butter Toast costing @Rs.125/.Similarly all the items are too costly and forced us to eat outside 3.Saff Behaviour: Excellent 4.Front Office Staff: Well trained and they are doing their job perfectly well 5.Room is there to maintain the lawn and swimming pool Overall Rating at this moment 3.5/5 only because of your location

We visited Gopalpur last month and stayed at this property. Located just beside the sea it's a beautifully decorated resort with a small swimming pool as well. Staffs are very much helpful and well behaved. Though we didn't get the room which was promised to us via whatsApp conversation. When we asked about the maneger with whom we discussed before booking , it was told to us that he is not anymore working for this property. This was a set back as we decided to book after we saw that particular room picture provided to us. Either way rooms are overpriced and expected to be more specious for the price range. Apart from this wifi was not working most of the time during our stay and in the cafeteria they surely need more celling fans or make that fully air conditioned . Overall had a ok stay there .

The experience was good. It was neither the best, nor the worst. A couple of points to be noted before you plan your next stay at Saanaira. 1. The Staff behaviour was good, though the General Manager was quite rude. 2. The bedsheets had stains on them. The washroom had a lot of issues at the royal room we stayed at. The handspray wasn't working properly neither the sink. 3. There is poor management throughout the resort, where people can drink and smoke anywhere. While our stay, we could also smell cigarettes all over the corridors. 4. A lot of services and amenities aren't available here, but that's not the worst part. The worst part is, that the staff, management, and everyone associated with it, lied to us. They've lied a lot. Just to save the authenticity/or to hide the fact that they were quite negligent about it, I guess we will never know. 5. The staff members were friendly and helpful, though they lie when it's required to save the Resort's reputation, but I feel that's fair too, would have been better if they would have just said the truth. Knowing all the above-mentioned details, if you ask me, I won't be choosing Saanaira again. If you do, then I hope you have a great time.

Hotel is in excellent location. Rooms are very nice. All the staff behaviour was excellent. 31 st program was well organised Next time I will visit again

Overall worth the price. Location is really good. One can enjoy at beach and get in rooms easily. Snacks available at restaurant whole day. Tea is really good.
