This good was one of the best places during my stay in San Miguel de Allende. The attention was really good and the place is perfect. If you don’t like Peruvian food you have several options like sushi or Mexican food. Also is really cheap so give it a try. Recommended!

Everything in the Ceviche was chewy and tasted fishy. The chicken was very dry. I overheard the chefs say microwave 5 times which explains why everything tasted bad .Watch out for food poisoning my stomach was hurting for 2 days after eating here .

An upstairs restaurant off the main drag to Celaya, with a lovely patio with lots of green, a very welcoming setting. The food we tried , causas of tuna and octopus were a delight to both the palate and the eyes. Highly refined presentation, and taste to match! Authentic Peruvian food, unique in its flavors. One of San Miguel’s (not so hidden) gems...

Great Peruvian food and impeccable service. We tried black olive octopus, tuna tataki, ceviche, chicken with rice, loma, chocolate cake. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The entrance to the restaurant is hidden between Banana burger place and something else. They are on the terrace overlooking lush courtyard garden. We definitely will be back.

I loved my main course which was called Chaufa Style. It reminded me of Pad Thai, but it had chunks of very tender chicken and some big shrimp. It was delicious. We also had Gyosas as an appetizer which were very flavorful dumplings.

This place provides a really cut above breakfast meal starting with a great Americano coffee w/crema. The poached eggs were perfect and made to order w/red pepper on top. I think this cook is a full on chef and not a short order cook. Some won't care for a small salad at breakfast but I guess that's how it is in Peru! Well worth the price! A great addition to the SMA breakfast rotation.

We came on a Friday night when there was live music. Not only was the food superb, but the presentation was artful. I had salmon and shrimp on a bed of mashed potatoes.

While we have passed this place many times, we had never had the opportunity to try it. It's kinda weird because we have always loved Peruvian food. Anyway, we decided to give it a try. We got there around noon and they were still serving breakfast/brunch. Adal, our server, seated us and took our drink order. While we were waiting for our drinks he made several suggestions on which menu items to try. I ordered a latte and Stacy ordered a passion fruit juice. Both drinks were excellent. Fresh bread with butter and jam were provided while we waited our food. After checking out the menu Stacy ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs (which came with your choice of potatoes or salad. Stacy said the salad was fantastic). The avocado toast was very good. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with a Peruvian yellow sauce which was amazing. I would definitely order those again, but there are also a lot of items on the menu I am looking forward to trying, especially some of the ceviches. As far as service, I say this unequivocally, Adal is one of the best servers in all of San Miguel. He has worked at several restaurants around town and has evolved into a knowledgeable professional. His English is excellent (I know this is important to some folks), he is happy to provide suggestions, he checks on guests frequently, and always has a smile on his face. We loved our brunch at Lima and can't wait to go back.

Yes, an enthusiastic 5-star for this place. I’ve been on numerous occasions and always had the same experience. I’ve tried many things on the menu, and I’ve never been disappointed. The flavors are subtle and complex. Thanks to the gorgeous trees on the patio, the ambiance is a wee bit of zen sitting just off a main road. The experience with the staff is warm and generous, thoughtful and heart forward, art. Truly one of my favorite restaurants in SMA.

First time here but recommend by a Peruvian friend. It did not disappoint (except that they ran out of their chocolate cake dessert).

Their Tiger Milk recipe for the ceviche is amazing! Portions are generous and staff is very friendly and helpful. The outdoor terrace overlooking the garden is lovely and relaxing. This is a top-of-the-list place in San Miguel!

Food was totally excellent, really! Server was attentive and fun without being a pest. We sat on the patio with the gentle San Miguel de Allende breeze. Life is good!

This place was the best restaurant that I visited in SMA. The food is so delicious and the service too. If you don’t like Peruvian food, you can take a Mexican food (next to Lima) or sushi. The prices are very good! I recommend it!

I loved Limas. Cute place! The service was great and the food was fantastic! While waiting for the main meal, we were served some tasty banana chips. My meal was Arroz Chaufa, Peruvian rice with shrimp and chicken. Yum! I ate slower than usual, trying to make it last. The spicy sauce was perfect, lots of flavor. Limas is my new favorite place to eat.

This quaint, friendly outside restaurant is so much fun. And there's a little mystery to it. You walk up not quite an ally but a road between buildings which is safe and go into an elevator that takes you upstairs. Live music, dancing, wonderful waiters and good, margaritas!

👍 Today, I visited La Gruta and, based on other people's reviews, I really didn't know what to expect. So let me tell you ALL about it! First, the entrance fee is wildly inexpensive. $250 mxn - that's about $12.10 us, 11.90€, or a little under $18 au - and for a spa you can visit all day, that's an a...
