First time here to get a cheese steak. These cheese steaks are really good and filling. They give you generous portions would come here again. You can do dine in or take out its just as good either way. The prices are good as well not expensive just right. They will make it how you want it. Owner seems very nice as well and no long wait time.

Old School Steak Shop, workers? Customers? Salt of the earth! Cheese Steak from Heaven 🙏❤️ Sandwich was so plentiful had to eat the top portion with fork. FROSTY mug of ice T. Only thing missing was The Price is Right on the TV.😂. If you want old school goodness like in Grandma's day check out Seward's.

Driving from Hershey back to CT, I wanted to stop and try a proper cheesesteak and with Allentown being the main large place in the state I passed throughout, I picked the first place I saw on google maps. It came across as a discreet local spot that has been around for years. The decor was rustic, the menu simple, it was perfect. The food was fantastic, so good. Some things weren’t available as they hadn’t been delivered which was a major plus to me as they clearly use fresh ingredients. Reasonably priced, and very happy to have had my authentic cheesesteak experience in PA.

Finally, after a string of disappointing "best cheesesteaks" I found it at sewards. Thanks to mike and company for a tender, juicy and delicious cheesesteak. My company just moved out to Allentown from NJ . All I wanted was an amazing cheesesteak. My team and I will visit often !

Was looking for a good cheesesteak and we found it! This place is great. Very large portions for the money. Food and service were great. We will be back.

Very clean and inviting inside. No handrails on the step entrance. Food is good and the rating would be higher if not for the employees/cooks who seemed to grudgingly take my order. No smiles or pleasant exchanges. I came out here for the first time. The sandwich maker did NOT wear gloves the cheesesteak person DID wear gloves. There are plenty of places to get this food. It was my first experience. Maybe a second try will be warranted. We'll see.

We had a large cheesesteak sandwich and small boardwalk fries, which the employee recommended, and ended up being just enough to share between the both of us! The employees are welcoming and friendly and the food is great. The rolls are always fresh and the boardwalk fries are freshly cut and made to order. Great little spot!! They have a large selection of items on their menu to choose from too. They have take out and countertop service if you choose to eat in. We will definitely be back!

Being from Philly, home of the cheesesteak, this is really a good place and the owner is very cool to rap to. Sandwiches are great, service is on point, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommend it when I have people from Philly or Virginia come visit and I don't have to drive all the way to Philly for a cheesesteak...

This place is awesome! People are friendly and courteous, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a 1960s diner…and then there’s the food! Steak sandwiches are more than ample, never skimping on the meat, with a choice of cheeses ranging from Cooper sharp to an excellent garlic cheese and everything in between. Place all that on a quality roll and top with peppers and pickles and you have a true valley original. Small fries are so big there’s enough for two adults at least, and they’re excellent. Ahhh I could go on and on like this about everything on the menu, but I think you get the idea. So do yourself a favor, go grab a steak and a frosted mug of root beer and you won’t be disappointed!

I have lived in Allentown 52 years and my first time in this place was Friday night. I love checking out cheesesteak options, I do have a favorite place but they keep going up in $$$ so I wanted to check this small family place out. The cheesesteak was fabulous, onion rings were also great and I went a little healthy with a salad but overall, I’ll be back. I like supporting the smaller businesses when I can and this one is close and easy to get into

Was visiting Allentown from out of town and we wanted to find a good cheesesteak in town! We found this place and it DID NOT disappoint!!! Delicious! Great staff!! Will be back next time we are in town!

Omg! I haven't eaten here in many many years!! I don't know why I waited so long to eat here again!!! I got a chicken cheese steak and it was soooo good!!! The flavor of the meat, the cheese, the sauce and the pickles and the roll so delicious!!! And the owner and his workers were very nice!! I'm going to make it a habit to go there often!!!👍😁😋

Call it a PA cheese steak. I'm from the Ave in Philly and this was not a philly cheese steak. Very dry and way to much roll, not enough meat.

Would love to have shown you a pic of our food but I didn't find time before I ate it. Mike and his staff are wonderful and the food is fantastic! Tried the chocolate cake and now I know why it's gone in a flash. Been there 4 times in the past couple of weeks and has now become our go to place before the Phantoms games. WAY better than the overpriced-underwhelming food in and around the arena. Gotta try the cheesesteak at Seward's

Awesome steak sandwich, and onion rings cooked to order. The roll was incredible as was the steak and sauce. Great family tradition.

Excellent steak sandwich not like most places fresh rolls and very accommodating to their customers, large steak sandwich vey filling and packed with meat and anything you ask them to put on it.

Great little shop and cheese steak sub was good. I like they have treat soda in the fridge. Would recommend.

Great little hole in the wall, will make your steak sandwich almost anyway your want it. Fresh. The portions are a bit bigger than I thought which is never a bad thing. Great experience!

What a fool I've been! I've lived in Allentown my entire life from the West side, to the South side, to the east side and this is the first time I have ever had their cheesesteaks! All I can say is, yum yum yum!
