I'm from Lancaster, so I enjoyed seeing so many shops from my hometown here in Allentown! The NY Pickle stand is a MUST visit. So good! Miss Little Korea is another stand that is worth the wait, because the food is amazing. I highly recommend the kimchi fried rice, fried chicken bao buns, and the handmade dumplings. The other food looked great as well, but that is what we ordered for our meal!

Honestly this could be a reason to move to Allentown by itself. Full of so many different types of flavors and different types of shops you don't know where to go first. I come here for the pinball but I stay for the farmers market. Make it a point to visit every time you are near.

This was our first time at the Farmer's Market. We went on a Friday after work and it was not so busy. I like the old-time feel and history of the place. The selection of meat/sausages looked good but based on other reviews, we were hoping for better quality produce. We picked up some local honey, sausages and tomatoes. Will go back and explore more another day.

Go on Thursday for the freshest and best selection. Go on Sat from 2pm for the deals as vendors are willing to give great prices to get rid of produces and perishable. Edited: There’s a fantastic soup place down by the general store that makes soups from scratch (Soul Soup). It very delicious and I high recommend trying them! The beef soup/stews and seafood soups are the best.

This was our first visit, and we really enjoyed it, that's Market we have been to in a long time. It's not high-end but everybody is friendly and it's all local owners, you're helping out local businesses. We just wanted to buy absolutely everything, a couple places had samples but not many. You didn't need samples it was clear out great in fresh everything was. They did have one vendor that fixed vacuum cleaners, just in case you need one repaired. Some of the vendors had their own sit down areas so that you could enjoy their fresh food right there and then.

Historic farmer's market that features a great selection of produce, meat, seafood, and a gazillion other items. The Vitamin store has a great selection of supplements and Dr. Bronner's soaps at great prices. PLUS they have an international selection of prepared food such a Luan's Vietnamese Bistro and a stand with Polish delicacies. Try it!

It's hard to rate this place as a whole, but on average, it's average. It has a variety of food stands and other businesses, and a person could probably do most of their grocery shopping here if they wanted to, as well as get takeout meals from a range of international cuisines. It's not a place to go for bargains, but for that specific something. Little Miss Korea is a highlight (and gets an enthusiastic 5 stars), but the rest is just OK.

Absolutely amazing! I wish there was something like this in my state. I had heard about this place from podcasts of those who had been to Pinfest. This was my first year attending and checking out the Farmers Market is a must do. So many places to buy great food either to eat right there or fresh meats to cook at home. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. There's a friendly sign on the door asking not to take photos without the store owners permission. For the pics below I did get permission.

I get emotional thinking of this place. My grandmother lived on Chew street. And it was always tradition to go to the farmer’s market. I went by there last year and it hasn’t changed one bit. I love everything about it.

Really great farmers market. It's indoors and has a ton of vendors! They have produce, ready to eat food, tons of pastry shops, fresh chicken and beef, pre-prepared ready to cook items, and even speciality food like polish, German, Mediterranean, and Mexican. They have restaurants like a BBQ, sandwhiches, American food, Korean, vietnamese ( FYI they only take cash), pizza, pretzels ( amazing), and more. They even sell some furniture, wine, and dog treats. You're guaranteed to find something you'll like. This place is like the gem of allentown. I know people come from all over for this Market. I just wish it was open all week!

This place has been around .. since 1955. Any food item you are looking for is here. My favorite is the New York Pickle Company. They offer numerous selections of pickles, olives, etc. The only negative comment I have about the market is the prices vendors charge. Don't come here looking for bargains because you will not find them. Worth a visit and decide for yourself

Awesome farmers market! Had the best pretzel OF MY LIFE at Billy's. Come here for hot or cold food, PA dutch staples or things like pho and Korean BBQ. There is a wine bar, and a great pet food/pet treats store with natural items for your pup.

You need to stop here if you are local and haven’t been. Johnnys has the best steaks, Stolfuz for deli meats, mr bill’s for chicken, and everywhere in between. This is a historic farmer’s market! I love running here before holidays or having people over. There are so many great options from meals to snack foods.

Anything you could think of in the way of fruit, vegetables, pastries and meats. Stop by my friends at Clover Farms - see Dave, you won't be disappointed. They have some of the finest cuts of meat at reasonable prices

This is where we should be shopping. Getting veggies, berries from the farm and organic vanilla nut coffee. The vacuum store is incredible. What is better than to have a clean home! They can fix anything! Affordable as well! Dollar store is awesome but sometimes he charges whatever he wants.. Sometimes even more than the label price🥹 The Greek Food Place is amazing l!! BUT they’re extremely pricey I recommend going here for food and fun any weekend!

As someone new to the area I had never been to the farm market in Allentown. Glad I went. I was pleasantly surprised (and pleased) to see that it was more of a food hall than anything. There were plenty of eclectic and unique food items to peruse. Will definitely be back.

I LOVE this place!! It is a little bit of a ride for us, about 45 minutes, but it is worth it. You can get the best meats that you ever had from the the butcher's there and at a fraction of the cost in any grocery store. Fresh picked fruit and vegetables and fresh baked bread. That is only the beginning. Check it out, you won't be sorry. Bring insulated bags, and cash. Some vendors do not take plastic.
