Seated at a dirty table. Under cooked bacon. Eggs with raw onion thrown on top. Toast that wasn't toasted. A waitress who we saw one time. Horrible I don't recommend at all. When we paid the check hostess asked how was your food, my husband said not good and the hostess ignored him while asking how much he wanted to leave for tip. Seriously.

The Blueberry Pancakes are really good. The service is nice but very slow.

Service was great and the atmosphere amazing. Simplicity in the meals and preparation was flavor some. The chicken was not dry and the raw onion and peppers complimented it perfectly with the eggs and bacon.

Stopped in around 9pm for late dinner. The waitress was pleasant but she forgot many things. The food was super bland and mediocre at best. The soup was very small, my wife's burger meat looked old, & my chicken meat was over cooked. Food had absolutely no flavor. Big waste of money coming here. Never again.

Solid experience here. Food was hot and well made. Service was okay. Bathrooms were clean. Your basic diner with a pretty good menu. Well worth a try

Our waitress was one of her own :-) The service fast and efficient The food was excellent (at least my eggplants). With plenty in the plate (along with the salad bar and spaghettis) And the place (including restrooms) is absolutely clean

Haven't been at this diner for nearly 8 years due to wait times and food issues but because it's been this long and it was early Sunday, I figured it was time to give another chance! It was around 7:45am by the time we arrived and thankfully; not many customers were there. We waited 5 minutes for seating. Once there we were greeted in timely manner, got our drinks but waited almost 15 minutes for food order to be taken. I waived down staff who then 5 minutes later got our orders done and food arrived after. Waited again nada so I got take out boxes myself from another waitress Didnt see our waitress until bill was placed. I truly under short staffing but you always make even a few seconds for any customer! Other then that the food was a much nicer portion then in the past and much better tasting then past! I do recommend Sunrise Diner for breakfast if you're not in a rush . I will be updating this review with lunch/dinner in near future!

Like always happy with the food and the service was excellent too 🥰 only one thing need to better price the egg and cheese and bacon sandwich 🥪 charging for bagel when it's one of the bread choices need to let the customer know a head of time . Other than that I was happy 😁

Usually when I come into town to visit my “friend” Keny Flores we always come there for breakfast but when I came over on the 11-13 of march he informed me that he had a bad experience. I find that odd since we have been coming here for over 2 years. The service has Al been good and the food also. He informed me after I left to go back home to Indiana that he met a girl I’m assuming she works here and doesn’t want her to know that he had a girl in town for the weekend.

Waitress was rushed and the placed wasn't even crowded. She plunked down our drinks on the end of the table, coffee, ice tea and water. Not even in front of who ordered. We had to reach and put our prospective drinks in front of us. Got our food. Was good, the only complaint was, whatever "butter" on the toast was not real. Was white like mayo and never melted. Before we even ate our food she slapped down the bill and ran off. Never asked asked if we needed anything. We had a leisurely breakfast, never saw her again. Never refreshed friends coffee, nothing. Sunrise used to have a great reputation. My friend had to pay at the cashier and ask for a take out container for me. Lousy waitress did not, never came back. Will not go there again. They weren't even that busy!!

I have loved going to this diner for years. The food is amazing. And ever since they remodeled it looks even more awesome. This is a great family restaurant for any occasion.

I've been going here for years. I hust love it. My T-bone steak is always on point. I just loved my waitress Kelly. She was awesome 👌 very loving and attentive to give the best service. I give her a 10.

Went for breakfast and ordered French toast and sausage, my hubby ordered scrambled eggs and asked for white toast well. I received my French toast and scrapple and my hubby eggs with wheat toast. I called the waitress and she argued with me that's what I ordered because she didn't write anything down. Then proceeded to bring out my sausage and my hubby's barely toasted toast. Ended up bringing my French toast home with me because it was not only raw inside it was cold. Complained and absolutely nothing was done. Won't be going back.

Great food, great steaks, all around loved it here! The people were really nice who worked there. Fast service, fast food wait time (cooking time) and they even had soup and salad bar (also had gloves as you serve yourself to ensure safety.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the food at this location. I had the French Dip sandwich, which was advertised as prime rib. It was frozen sliced beef and unbelievably dry. My daughter had a panini, which, while filled with cheese, was also very dry. The staff are great and the service is fantastic but the food really lets it down, we won't be returning.

What a nice clean diner. Got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Was great. Salad bar clean and have plastic gloves for u to wear for cleanliness. Recommend this place.

The waitress and other staff were so friendly and helpful. Very clean and food was good. Was so nice to sit and just laugh and joke with my friend and we were a little silly but not bad and we felt comfortable and enjoyed our night out.

The service was ok. It took a while to get menus and waited on. The food was below average for diner food. The plates are very small for the salad bar which allows one trip. Did not have it but did have the soup. The soup was mostly, broth. Definitely have better food in the area but average prices.

My husband and I stopped for breakfast for the first time this morning. Food was really good, pancakes are delicious! Clean, friendly and attentive staff. Will be back for salad bar!! Great job

Sunrise diner 1401 S 4th St, Allentown, PA 18103 To Whom It May Concern: On February 18th roughly around 9am my family and I went out to have a breakfast at the sunrise diner in Allentown the atmosphere of the place and table was beyond dirty I’ve been served with undercooked bacon, eggs with raw onion thrown on the top. When I notified the waitress about this issue she did nothing, I felt ignored and out of place. I’ve been a loyal customer for a couple of years and have just recently been having these issues. I demand that Sunrise Diner fixes its poor effort in what the diner serves such as the following: undercooked bacon, raw onions on top of eggs and lack of respect and acknowledgment from your waiters. It's a typical Diner but more friendly than the majority of places are nowadays. The staff will remember you, talk to you, and be friendly. Which is unfortunately now uncommon. You feel very much like family here which makes it an even better place to bring your own family.

Great food and incredibly friendly staff. 10/10 recommend!

This wasn’t the first time the diner was uncomfortably warm. I considered leaving and going somewhere else :( I felt terrible for the staff who had to endure sweaty temperatures while working. They were still amazing though !

Excellent salmon dinner. A friend treated me to. Great place to meet, we met after we were each at other commitments, before going to church together. Fast, convenient, right priced, excellent taste, preparation and service.

Ordered food for my wife an kids. Kids food came out first after 45 mins. Multiple groups of people came in after us and where served before me and my wife. I eventually declined our food and left. And they made us pay for my kids food. No sorry or hey since you and ya wife didn't get your food for an hour and a half your kids are free. Won't be going back.. very disappointed. Used to go here all the time

Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Food prepared to order with the best personal customer service by all the staff. I may be partial to my faves, Sisters Yasmeen & Odí, who've both provided excellent customer service on my recent visits, but the entire staff is professional. More importantly is the food. My friend Jen & I were impressed with their homemade soups, and their Salad Bar's available daily from 11a until.

Stopped by for breakfast on a busy Friday. Quick service, friendly staff. Food was great and reasonably priced. Will stop by again.
