A remarkably beautiful park in the middle of the City of Allentown, Cedar Park features the Rose Garden, a creek, ponds and fountain, and paved loop trails (with exercise stations). There's also an impressive playground and a swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts. Ample parking in several lots as well as on street parking along Parkway Blvd.

PLEASE IF YOU LIKE MY REVIEW PLEASE HIT THE LIKE BUTTON FOR ME...Everytime I visit Allentown Pennsylvania I make sure I at least make a decent stop at Cedar Beach Park. I also take the walk by the small man made water fall and dip my feet into the water to get in tune with nature. Also the rose garden park across the street is also a very romantic walk for those in LOVE!! I explored the playground for children which is a decent size. It has many entertaining part for children and it has working facilities and functional water fountains. The pond is very relaxing to watch as the ducks do their thing. If you get hangry take a walk to California Burrito and have a taco. Recommended!!! ***** Note*** There are garden snakes in this park so please do not let your children run into the wooded areas take a look at my pictures for the garden snake!!!! Thanks for reading my review don't forget to hit the like button!!! Thanks!!!

Tuesday March 22nd 2022 We visited this playground/park for the first time today. Wow! It's ginormous! Incredibly impressed with this Playground. 5 stars and above. Benches & dozens of places around the playground to sit. A huge pavilion, lots of tables and shade. Dozens of things for the kids to climb and play. I love that it's for all ages and abilities too. It has ramps that are wheelchair friendly ๐Ÿงก

Very nice park. I walked around a bit and sat down for a picnic lunch. It was very serene. The park was well kept. There was a big playground and looks like a pool for summer. There was a nice long trail to walk and outdoor exercise equipment. I can't wait to go back.

Possibly the largest childrenโ€™s playground had ever visited. many obstacle courses, swings, rock climbing areas, and climbing opportunities at every corner. It is great for kids of all ages. The weather was nice at 8 AM however Iโ€™m sure the lack of shade and the rubber flooring would make things very hot during the middle of the day during the summer. The pictures are nothing compared to how massive this playground is. There are restrooms and a little free library right near the entrance.

This is definitely a hidden gem just on the outside of the city of downtown Allentown. Really nice playground for kids with kind of a rubber ground that they could walk on so they wonโ€™t hurt their knees if they fall. They do have a public swimming pool here in this area but Iโ€™m not sure if itโ€™s been opened in the last year. Very nice walking track that leads up to downtown Allentown weโ€™re all the way over to the Rosegarden right up the street. Nice pond area to just sit in a peaceful environment and meditate or take a good walk and enjoy the scenery. Muhlenberg college is directly across the way from here and plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. There are good amount of parking lots were you can park your car and feel safe in the area. I frequently spark allowed to do some pictures or ride a bike or take a walk.๏ฟผ

Kids absolutely love this place! Huge playground! Beautiful creek where you can walk alongside and enjoy the scenery. Great for pictures, a walk around, or even a peaceful place to sit and read a book next to the water.

A nice, large park with a massive playground for children, basketball and volleyball courts. Plus there is a nice walkway along the water and a public pool. The place does get packed though, especially around the playground.

OMG! We attended the Water Lantern Festival at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown, Pa. The park is huge with picnic areas as well as play equipment for the kids. There is also a beach volley ball area and plenty of parking too. The Lantern Festival itself was magical! Lots of people, and everyone respected each other's space and lanterns. The smell of food trucks and music filled the air! There were plenty of vendors too. It was such a beautiful experience, especially at night when you released your lit lantern into the stream to watch it float your wishes into the universe. So many lanterns, so many wishes! ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿฎ

Great playground! Only complaint was the adults who wont clean up after their kids! We were here during a birthday party and the whole place was littered in trash and everything was covered in birthday cupcakes ๐Ÿ˜‹ yea I want to my kids picking up your old food and slipping on butter (cream). The hosts left at 9pm and left trash and food behind. Absolute pigs!

This park without a doubt is the best park I've ever brought my children too we were traveling from that account on vacation and I was meeting up with a couple of friends that I haven't seen in 16 years so we brought our Children to play at this park and it was absolutely without a doubt the best park I've ever brought my kids to highly recommend it if you are in Allentown and are traveling little ones that need to run around this playground is huge.

Big Park and clean but I cant say the same bout the bathrooms since theres a lot of people who use them and some decides to be nasty and trash them but other wise it haves everything a kid can imagine to have fun and climb and music pads to play, a lot of action for the little ones... Love it

Our first time at the park was great.. the kids 2 & 4 loved it.. lots of stuff for the Littles and plenty of room to grow with stuff for the bigger kids too..

Many older teens gathering under the equipment. Very unshaded so over 70 degrees, all equipment is hot. Equipment itself is new and well.maintained. have to also say, it is so close to inner city, and the basketball courts are often used as gang types to meet. Shootings have occurred.

I always loved this park. I use to bring my dog for walks and to play. Now I bring my son to the playgrounds. The only reason I give 3 stars is the restroom is always filthy and not many garbage bins. I understand they don't want to over do it with the trash bins to keep the park beautiful but you risking lazy people who don't wanna walk and leave trash everywhere.

A well maintained park! Playground was great for the kids with tons of options. On hot days it can be a little problematic as nothing is covered, but overall Allentown does a great job keeping this park nice!

Place was extremely flooded.. not parks fault but with Pavillion reservation & over 3 hr late start bathrooms weren't guaranteed but would've been nice especially when taking people's money for reservations.. ducks were swimming by restrooms.. any other time.. weather permitting Great place for entire family friends & plenty beautiful grass for sports

Recently visited this playground as I am conducting research on accessible and inclusive playgrounds and Cedar Beach Park exceeded all expectations! It certainly checks off all the boxes of what true inclusivity looks like! From ramps onto the jungle gym, activities of different heights and strengths to sign language games, colorful memory pad and challenging quiz games of different levels w lights & sounds, exercise activities, huge gazebo w several picnic tables, 2 basketball courts, walking trail, beautiful scenery, nearby water, etc and the entire area immaculate! Hats off to those who worked diligently to ensure children, adults, and seniors of all abilities are included in the little joys of life that are priceless.
