We have stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and I must say it was the most clean, well organised and comfortable hotel I have been so far. All I have missed was a swimming pool but well we cannot have everything haha, they have got a huge bath so that’s the plus for not having swimming pool 😋. I can highly recommend staying at this hotel. Everyday they made sure our room is clean very spacious room and bathroom. Everyday we have got an AMAZING breakfast and DELICIOUS dinner with fresh juice. I don’t know guys who is your chef but take care of him/her as in whole Lisboa and Almada I haven’t eaten better than at yours restaurant. Very reasonable price and the meals were very very tasty. Nothing to add. Thank you so much for your hospitality. You went an extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Easy and nice underground access to the Parking as well which is an important if you rent a car. Everything 10/10!

On my first visit to Portugal, I stayed at this hotel in Almada, Lisbon. A business hôtel with friendly staff. Rooms were great and the breakfast service was buffet style with a wide variety of dishes. I will return again.

We stayed four nights. The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. The buffet breakfast was very tasty and well presented. There is a nice grocery store very nearby. There is a nice park across from the hotel for walking or running. An easy trip on the metro and a 10 minute ferry ride will get you to Lisbon. This hotel provided us with everything we needed.

Nice continental breakfast, mostly vegetarian but have halal turkey rashers. Staff were nice. WiFi wasn't very good on 7th floor but view was good

I stayed at the Mercure in Almada over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The room was comfy and clean, the bathroom a bit dated but very clean as well. The breakfast was very generous and of good quality. I will definitely return.

As I was visiting family, the hotel was well situated to go to them, and the centre with the tram. The stop is very close to the hotel. (NB: for anyone who struggles to walk, there is a tiny hill up from the tram to the hotel). The staff was helpful and friendly. I had half-board (which I recommend the menu is delicious, fancy good, actually). I was less impressed by the breakfast, but it is a matter of taste. The room was clean, and no bed bugs in sight!

Everything was very good, staff, service, room and food except not being able to drink a glass of wine with my dinner and having to listen to loud music which has nothing to do with the atmosphere of the hotel. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

Not bad at all. Rooms are ok and clean. Shower head could be better. Breakfast is a bit boring. The people who work there are great. Not close to anything but a few minutes walking and you can find some restaurants. A 10 min drive and you are at the Almada Forum.

Third visit in this beautiful hotel to participate in half marathon Lisboa as it’s very close to starting line. Friendly and welcoming staff made also this stay to a memorable experience.

We visited this hotel with my family, 2 adults and 3 kids, the hotel was clean and very welcoming. We stayed for nearly two weeks, the staff were all very kind and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast did get a bit boring and would’ve liked fresh eggs made, besides that we found it ideal. The non alcohol was a great thumbs up for us, and the halal breakfast too!

Room, staff, environment are faultless and make for a pleasant stay. You lose a star for not informing potential guests that alcohol is not available on the premises.

Not worth it.had much better experience with this hotel when was managed before mercure. Food variety is poor. And bar with no cocktails available. Staff is very friendly but would not come again.

I was pleasantly surprised by my one night visit to this hotel. My check-in was handled good at the front desk, although it was delayed by 45 mins, but this was no problem for me. The hotel has a burger bar and a restaurant with healthy food as a concept. I thought this was nice, but I was quite let down as there was NO ALCOHOL serving at the hotel at all. No bar to order non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks either, a big minus as this hotel is mainly chosen by business travelers. However, the room was really clean and I can't find anything negative apart from the bath tub shower... I really prefer a walk-in shower. Definitely recommend this for business/single-person stays in Lisbon/Almada.

Very friendly and helpful staff. About 5 mins from nearest metro, which can get you to Cacilhas easily.

Excellent hotel with good restaurant. The location is about 45 min. walk from the downtown.

Comfortable and good value business hotel, well connected to public transport. I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists visiting Lisboa as it’s about 45 mins away on tram and then ferry or a similar time on a bus over the bridge. The beds are very comfy and the hotel is very clean. It’s a on a quiet street although very close to the highway so there is some noise from that when the window is open. The bar / restaurant is a health food place - so no alcohol is served. I had no idea. The fruit juices they do are delicious and include super foods.

Have to say, was a bit disappointed coming here after our tour guide said it was a 4-star hotel. Given the price and its description as a business hotel, you should change your expectations from 4-star hotel to a decent night's stay. The room itself was decently sized for two people, I've certainly seen smaller. But, the amenities in the bathroom was pretty disappointing. Prepare for a lack of basics such as toothpaste or conditioner. The WiFi card had the incorrect casing for the password so ask the staff for the proper password and user login. The breakfast buffet was pretty average, charcuterie, cheese, eggs, and fruit. Nothing impressive, enough to fill yourself, and on your way out. The location isn't particularly great either. There's a wide park next to it, but nothing in the surrounding area is interesting. The nearest public transportation to the main plazas of Lisbon is about a 10 minute walk away, so not particularly convenient either. Definitely taught me that 4-star hotel meant something different in Portugal.

At arrival I was asked to show a "certificate of vaccination" (not even a Green Pass). After I refused, I was asked to perform a medical test to be allowed to stay in, in a clear breach of the Portuguese Constitution and the Charter of Human Rights. Collaborationists working to the sanitary dictatorship will be brought to Justice, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon.

We have stayed at Mercure Almada twice, both times for almost 2 weeks, it is clean, well maintained, the staff is friendly and always willing to help in any way. The cleaning staff are the best they make you feel at home Mrs. Elvira is a sweetheart, our room was always on spot, clean, fresh, and she always asked if we needed anything else. I recommend Mercure Almada without hesitation.
