great tasting pho, authentic, good service, quick and large serving. all good, my go to place in the morning, opens at 9AM, pho @ breakfast is the best!

Their broth is amazing and my seafood pho was delicious! The portions are great for the price and the hefty toppings they bring for the table are much appreciated. I ate with a group of three and we were all happy with the meal.

Wonderful. Modern design, open spaces, great flavour. The $60 meat set that serves 2-3 people was served on a wooden escalating platform with tags to indicate which meat is which. This is a Japanese BBQ, so if you're used to the typical Korean set up with sides be aware everything here is piecemeal, so particular sides are extra. However you can order interesting things like Japanese pancake (okonomiyaki).

I love those place. Today I ordered the large pho with rare beef. The portion size is a great value. You can get two meals out of the large size bowl. You are given plenty of fresh raw veggies, sauce, and broth. Pho Hong Long has one of the most flavorful broths I had in the South Bay. I highly recommend this place.🙂

The broth had a stinking smell which I hadn’t had since 10 yrs ago in a Korean restaurant. If the stinking scale was like 80% in the K restaurant, this pho was like 30% ish. The former, I literally suffered to drink the broth, while the latter I was ok, but still not enjoyable. I was thinking maybe some ppl would enjoy it instead? Like the stinking tofu we have in Taiwan. (I have tried about 10 V restaurants around this area by the way)

It was something new for me and different but the staff was polite and the noodles was good.

Vermicelli bowl and the pho were both delicious. Vegetables were fresh. The service was also great. Would definitely return!

Called in to order the Tamaen assorted set (60$) for takeout about 3 hours before the pickup. Went to revive about 2 mins before pickup time and they had things ready. Smooth process, friendly nice dude. Meat was very good. Would go there again.

Updated 1/7/19: I'm knocking them down to 3 stars. Medium bowl used to be under $8 but they raised it to $9 this year, and they started charging an extra buck if you pay by credit. That's OK because the new pricing matches what most other places have been charging. But I swear their broth is more diluted now. It's still pretty good, but the broth used to be legend. No good no quality control.

I've been going here for the past 6 months for lunch breaks during my shifts. No complaints here, the pho is my favorite in So Cal at the moment .I've tried several in the area and in Westminster and it's the broth that keeps me coming back to this one always. The service is quick and the food is prepared fast.

Great authentic pho place. Prices are great and the parking lot has lots of space to park in. Keep in mind that there is a minimum of $20 to pay via credit card.

Beef broth has good depth. Noodles have perfect texture. I like that the bowls comes in different sizes - the large was big enough to share since we wanted to have the egg rolls too, which come with lots of lettuce.

Friendly staff, beautifully prepared cuts of beef. Plus they offer A5 japanese Wagyu!!! For the serious "Foodie" try the beef sushi!

Great Japan hibachi BBQ

Their delightful bento boxes have been a silver lining of the covid era. They've been creative trying all sorts of things and it can be a little hard trying to figure out what they currently have (website, IG and Yelp are not always up to date). I have appreciated the various bargain priced curry bowls, boxes of all different kinds of high quality meat at all price ranges, cheap beer, even the pancake was great. We've tried all the fried chicken, I especially enjoy the cartilage. The groceries they carried for a while was really useful with super high quality eggs for the price. They also have a butcher shop website that looks nice. Of course I hope they do well and can go back to their normal business, but it might ironically be less in my price range then to go as often!

The small portion was really good, I had trouble finishing it! Also tasted AMAZING! And only for 11.50 which is not bad. The chili oil goes so well with the noodle and the brown sweet sauce (idk what its called) goes great to dip your beef. Overall will be coming back often, amazing taste and price! 🍜 + staff is super nice
