Such SUBSTANTIAL improvements and updates were made since I last reviewed this location. Not just with equipment but also the flooring ~ No more nappy carpets..! There's a new turf area for HIIT and free weight workouts. All the other machines were methodically rearranged: you can find an ab isolated area by the bathrooms and even a mat area on the second floor with the cardio. Things you should know: I. PARKING There is a massive, free parking lot out front of the main entrance. II. SERVICE No complaints, but nothing outstanding to say either. III. QUALITY They have a wider variety than other locations we've been to. This particular location is best diversified for weighted back and leg exercises. Other LA fitnesses nearby just don't have what they have..! In the cardio areas there are televisions, which is nice because not all LA Fitnesses have that luxury of a distraction. IV. CAPACITY Busy during your standard rush hour times. Lunch time seems to be the time to go or weekends.

10/9/22 Update - reported my credit card stolen and made a complaint to Better Business Bureau and that did the trick. If LA Fitness thinks difficult cancellation will help retain customers, they are WRONG! Beware. It is almost impossible to cancel membership. I have followed the instruction to cancel and it’s over three months after the one month cancellation period and I am still being charged. I am not sure what else I need to do. This is absurd and almost fraudulent.

Neat and tidy! They place is neat and maintained... there is always employees who are cleaning and keeping the place neat. There are some people who workout dnt clean their place before and after they workout but in this virus spreading time there is la fitness employees who clean and keep the place tidy! Not only that the employees who work in front desk and customer service area are very friendly... if you dnt know how to use some machine and equipments they help you and educate you. There is also more classes held here which are free. The instructors will start to recognizing you in 2 classes and they encourage you to put more effort.

I've been working out at LA Fitness Alpharetta for 8 months. The remodel over the summer was a huge improvement for the overall experience. Some new weights and new equipment, great new training area with turf and plenty of space. Reorganized to be more intuitive. I've been working out with Olga for personal training since August, and she is amazing! If you're looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend her! She created a program that was comprehensive but also something I can do on my own. And just when I was getting used to it - she switches it up to keep me on my toes! She demonstrates every exercise, pays attention to my form and corrects as needed. She is encouraging, pushing as needed, but also paying attention to make sure I stay hydrated during my workout and don't overestimate how much weight I can handle. Olga really makes working out "have to" and more "want to!"

The remodel has made this gym the top LA in all of Atlanta in my opinion. New machines, weights, functional training and great classes. I’ll never leave this gym unless I have to move!

The GM, Jay, the WGM Jeff and the membership advisors all the way up to the staff at the desk are the most friendly, personable people. They make my workout experience exceptional.Since they’ve updated the club it’s amazing the way that it’s laid out is ergonomically, correct. I am a former lifetime fitness member, and this club has lifetime beat as far as bang for the buck goes high highly recommend I am a former IFBB pro and I approve this message. Footnote DO NOT sign up for training, their trainers are not certified by approved entities. They will not tell you that you are locked in and if you cancel it is 50% off your total training sessions. They will not work with you it’s used car sales.

Cleanest gym that I’ve been in by far. Staff is very nice and helpful and there is a wide range of amenities. Would totally recommend to anybody.

It is 2022 and they won't let you cancel online. Tell us you're desperate to keep members without actually telling us. 🤣 They do this so they can string you along claiming they didn't get it or whatever excuse so they can keep charging you. They will be owing me a refund now.

I’ve been to 5+ LA locations and 5+ other big name brand gyms all in the Atlanta metro area and THIS LA Fitness is undoubtedly the best. Very well maintained and solid community of people that go here.

Fraudulent and dishonest. My wife had signed up for 6 months of personal training and after completing a few months, became pregnant and got a doctors order to not work out. When this was presented to LA FITNESS (which would have allowed out of the contract), they refused and still charged us.

I joined this gym in September 2022. The staff is always helpful and professional. Great value for your money! They renovated the entire location over the Summer. Loved that!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a great gym!!

LA Fitness is a great way to invest your time and money, win win for me. Most people come with a positive mind, very friendly. I personally all that they offer, they offer a variety of things to keep you healthy, such as whirlpool, sunna, swimming pool, weight lifting, spin class, zumba/hit/yoga class, racquetball, etc... If you want to stay health come join us we are positive and love to exercise:)

After working out here for the last 4 years I moved...then they remodeled the place...ugh The remodel looks great and they added alot of value making it one of the top LAs I have been to in the ATL market.

Clean and well maintained equipment. Not the best LA fitness I've been to, but it is the closest one to me.

The new renovations are good and were much needed. I’m not entire sure what the new turf-like area is for exactly, but I’m happy we have three new squat/deadlift racks which are much more versatile than the previous squat/milpress racks. Place is clean and doesn’t reek, sauna is good and smells like old wood which is nice, and the weights aren’t withered and old like they are at some places.

The place is a bit dated, but has everything you need in a gym. Swimming pool, dry sauna, squash, and basketball courts. Plus classes

Yes dated machines BUT customer Service is the best in Atlanta Metro hands down. Front desk experience was uplifting. They just helped me sign in and it was impressionable. Thank you Ladies, loved the valentine's inspired nails 💅

They were the only gym who was able to assist me with my Gympass registration. They assigned a trainer to me and everything. Waaayyyy better than the goofs at the Conyers location who didn't assist me with anything.

This place is clean and has all the promised features, including the sauna and whirlpool. My one issue is that the equipment is older and not in the best condition. The kettlebells, for instance have the coating peeling off the handles, making them more difficult to use.

I like this gym. I’ve been doing my workout in this location since it’s always clean, the equipments are in good maintained and the staff is very friendly.

I am from San Antonio and ended up in Alpharetta visiting my sister for her wedding in June. I have the membership where I can access any L.A. Fitness in the nation (just not the premium ones). The staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed here. The location actually had punching bags (I don’t use them but my sister does) and was fairly clean. The sauna was the right temperature. It wasn’t difficult to get to nor was it difficult to find parking. I didn’t have to pay any fees. I could also keep up with my work out routine. Will come here again when I visit next time!

I always get a good workout here. Always clean, plenty of spray bottles to wipe down machines. Some folks don't re-rack the free weights when done. But staff comes around to ensure others have a convenient experience.

Always nice to get a workout done with maintained equipment. Lots of varieties at the local gyms from classes to free weights to machine based equipment.

Excellent Zuma classes
