We had an awful experience at this Hyatt hotel. Starting with failing to comply with appropriate room service and daily cleaning to having very poor breakfast in the mornings. We waited more than 30 minutes to have breakfast available and options were scant. The hotel was at maximum capacity and did not have enough food!! In the website, it states the hotel provides a 5-mile radius shuttle and this information was confirmed through the phone prior to arrival but when asked the front-end staff working on September 3rd, 2023 (afternoon) he stated that shuttles were not available since the pandemic began. This front-end staff did not have a name tag and had the wrong attitude from the start. He was very disrespectful to my husband when he voiced a complaint regarding the hotel failing to provide daily cleaning for the second time nor at least to provide clean towels. He was continuously on his cellphone, talking over and interrupting my husband and stated that we should expect cleaning after the third day of stay! He failed to call management when requested by my husband and instead called the police who asked us to vacate the property at 6 p.m. on a Sunday night with a party of 9 including 5 children. Overall customer service and poorly trained front-end staff made our stay in Alpharetta a very sour one! We will never stay in this or any Hyatt hotel again!!! Luckily we found a Marriot hotel that was very accommodating and the customer service was superb from the start. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay was excellent because of Erin! (I hope I am spelling her name correctly). She checked me and my boyfriend in at almost midnight, but you couldn’t tell it was midnight because of her bubbly personality. She was so friendly and eager to assist after I made a reservation at the wrong hotel (it was the sister hotel up the street). She got on the phone and was able to switch it to the correct one. Her kindness, graciousness and willingness to make the check in process fun and easy going made the entire stay so much better! The literal definition of hospitality.

I enjoyed my stay there. I don't expect to much from a 3 star hotel because they normally underwhelm me. But this location was ok. The room I had was clean and the bed was not the best but not the worst. I always look for a clean hotel and this spot for the star rating did there job. I would stay here again.

I don’t see how people rate this hotel so high, it’s so outdated. It’s a clean location but they’ve have many issues I was annoyed by. TV wouldn’t work keep spinning for an entire day no matter how many times I turned it off and on. Toilet was clogged after one light use, AC was loud the entire night , beds where stiff and refrigerator didn’t cool. The employees didn’t seem to excited that I was there nor said thank you. I’ve stayed at this hotel 4xs and the same issues I’m done. Don’t waist your time go down the street to the new Hilton location they take care of you.

I just spoke with an Alex P. who is rude and needs to learn to separate his personal feelings from business. FYI if you book with Hyatt you will only receive up to 3 rooms worth of points. I called to inform HYATT that I was only credited for 6 of those nights versus 18. The problem is that I have read and read the HYATT website multiple times and that is no where to be found. Needless to say I told him that I always research prior to calling so that I can be on my P's and Q's when encountering people like him. Even after I explained what I meant by people like him (knows everything and likes to argue with the customer) he proceeded to say he felt disrespected. I will be calling to speak with Justine R. to inform her that they may need to do some additional training because I am not responsible for how Alex perceives anything especially after an explanation is given. It is not like a couple of hundred dollars were spent with the Hyatt. Thousands were spent with them and who knows it will probably be the last thousand all because of one experience that occurred out side of the stay at this location. As for the Customer Service that was provided through Hyatt Customer service it was awesome! I wish I had gotten the lady who assisted me name. She was very professional and nice and resolved the issue. She also confirmed that the disclaimer is shown at check out. Therefore, I would not find it prior to booking. She also took the time to explain to me how their point system and qualifying nights work. The reason for the one star is solely because of my experience with Alex. I would have loved to give a higher rating because of the customer service rep. But, I will not. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with such unprofessionalism.

My family and I stayed here while visiting friends and family. The operations manager, Imane went above and beyond with her costumer service. She was so friendly and so accommodating when we had an issue with our room. She got us into a new room the minute I brought the issue up, and we were able to get into get into our new room in under 10 minutes. All while she was also helping other customers. She was so friendly to our toddler son, that he gave her a big smile every time he saw her. Definitely some of the best customer service we’ve received from the whole staff during our stay

Location was perfect, close to everything. The decor and cleanliness was great. We had an issue with the first room we were assigned as there was no soap/shampoo/conditioner and the tub wouldn’t drain. We were moved to a different room as it was late at night so that solved the issue. We were surprised it included breakfast so that was a plus. Negatives were there was only one functional elevator and the luggage cart wheels weren’t filled all the way so we struggled to get our luggage up to our room. Overall, it was a great stay and we would come back if in the area !

I might be going a little over the top with giving this location five stars, but there was almost nothing to have an issue with. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and nice, and the location of the hotel is great. The air conditioning unit didn't seem to work unless I powered it off and back on, but when we woke up we weren't sweating and the room was chilly the way we like it, so it must've functioned just fine during the night. In a nutshell, I'd totally stay here again and would absolutely recommend the hotel based on our experience.

I was traveling for business and it met all my needs. All the staff were super nice and helpful with any questions I had. The lobby store has a lot of basic needs for travel or there’s a Walgreens and Walmart 3 blocks down the road. The room was pretty good also. I’d give it 5 stars for travel. Nice comfortable king size bed. They made sure I was always stocked in the bathroom. The lobby was always clean and every other trip thru some one was mopping or wiping down.

Comfortable stay with friendly service. Convenient location to local restaurants and services and right next to the 400 on ramp. Property is in need of an update, but overall the value is hard to argue with.

My experience was worst. I cannot think of a word other than worst which is not doing justice to what I experienced. I booked this hotel for 21 days for some business trip. When it was my 2nd day no cleaning staff came to make up room for whole day. I complained and reception staff said that it will happen again. Guess what, its my 4th day and again viola no cleaning staff came again. I again complained, but this time I decided not to continue my further stay in this hotel. Most of the door locks are either faulty or rusty and require multiple tries to get unlock with card. I am going to cancel my further stay and leave a note here for others to stay away from this Outside shinny and inside pathetic hotel.

There’s one person running the whole hotel apparently. Same person checking people in, trying to make food, making drinks, and trying to process all these separate transactions. Which means I waited 30+ minutes to order one drink with no one else waiting at the bar, just me. During COVID businesses could get away with running skeleton crews, but this is a Hyatt close to multiple businesses on a weekday and they can’t have anyone else to staff the bar and kitchen? It’s not a small hotel. It wasn’t the one employees fault she was nice and doing what she could.

I booked this hotel on accident for a company trip so I'm at another location than everyone else. We'll, I'm so glad I made this reservation. I'm an early bird and need my coffee lol Erin that works 3rd shift made my stay! She is so friendly and helpful! From getting me my morning caffeine at 4:30 am to making me feel like family! This is probably the best stay I've had at any hotel and that's all thanks to Erin these past 2 days!!!

Look at the recent reviews, no at the overall. That was my mistake. Terrible customer service, misleading. Walked in to check in and there was no one at the front desk. Good thing I was able to do it from my phone. The breakfast bar is literally in the lobby. The beds are not queen beds like they say, they’re full size. When booking it said parking was free, but now they have a sign saying is $12 a day when you come in. Just a bad experience overall.

The absolute worst hotel I've been to in the last decade. I'm not sure how Hyatt allows this facility to use their name, should absolutely be revoked. Please read below and DO NOT STAY. Bug infestations and rodents. I understand it's a category 1 hotel, but it's more like a run down motel in middle America. The room was awful, I think we were assigned room 425, top floor all the way at the end of the hall. Spent about 5 mins and checked out of the hotel. Upon arrival into the room, it had a strange smell. Very large noticable stains on the couch, floor and around the room. My son was sleeping so I pulled the bed sheet back to lay him down and was surprised to see an orange lady bug in the bed. So I decided to wake him while I further inspected the room. I found a dozen more of the small beetles and also rodent feces UNDER THE MATTRESS! Absolutely disgusting. Further looking around the room I found what appeared to be a beetle nest by the AC unit. Dozens of tiny shell molts and other disgusting things. I took one picture (hard to make out how disgusting it really was) and immediately left and asked for the front desk agent to cancel my reservation. There was absolutely no way I would have slept there. The front desk had charged me $100 and said they could not refund it lol.

I’ve stayed at this location before this is the reason for coming back. After paying for my room I was charged a 50.0 hold which was okay parking was 13 dollars. By the time I got up that morning I noticed a 39.56 charge on my account after asking why I was charged I was told to give them my card it would be returned instead I was charged again. Moreover my room was already paid they decided to charge my card three times which was crazy these people are robbing you with out a gun be careful before you pick them for a stay something very fishy is going on there??? On top of that at breakfast I asked for a bowl and the young lady seemed as I was bothering her I told he just give them to me I’ll put them out which she did because I’m guesses she doesn’t like her job. I’ll never stay at this location again.

My family and I travel a lot and we have stayed in hotels all over the country and across the world and this hotel was unequivocally the WORST experience we have had. The room was not cleaned even once during the four nights we stayed. When we brought it up to the front desk, the person was extremely rude, disrespectful, and walked away form the conversation. Breakfast was not enough for all the guests. The shuttle service that was promised was not available. Overall, we had a terrible experience and I highly discourage guests to book this hotel. Look elsewhere!!!

This was the most horrific experience of my life. 1) One day I came back to the hotel. I realized my door had been opened by someone else and it was unlocked. The room was not cleaned so it must not have been the housekeeper. 2) Around 10:30 pm that night, suddenly a person opened my door and tried to come in. I nearly screamed and shut the door immediately. I called the front desk and he told me their system said my room was empty so they assign my room to another guest. I was so scared and couldn't sleep all night! They said they would refund me one night but I checked out almost a week and I didn't get my refund yet.

hotel is looking a little run down. I stayed here 18 months ago, but returning now, pool is closed and looks to be full of leaves, and ladder is hanging off - will it ever re-open? Does not look very temporary. Breakfast is quite limited. Offer larger selection of cereal and bacon on the hot buffet maybe. Water pressure in the shower (5th floor) is quite limited. Biggest negative is the $12/day parking, which was not listed when I booked via Expedia, it shows Free Parking - and last time I stayed Parking was free. It makes no sense to charge for parking out here, we are in the middle of nowhere - that needs to be scrapped or this hotel will die. The receptionist said it was imposed by the landlord and is nothing to do with the hotel. It is cheap and nasty experience, when you arrive at 1am in a rental car and you don't know the registration, and need to mess about getting online to pay for it. You can't NOT have a car when you stay out here, so it needs to be included with the price. End of.

Very rude manager “Alexis” is breaking FEDERAL and STATE laws by denying/charging for service animals. The manger also charged my card my WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! Would not recommend! This hotel stole money off my card and refuses to corporate. Everyone needs to know this hotel will scam you out your money. It’s plenty other hotels minutes away with better service.

GPS directions weren't clear. The hotel sits behind another business. That being said, it was hard to find. I had to call the hotel. They were able to give me directions to the hotel without incident.

Clean rooms. Really comfortable bed. Room service is only done if call the front desk and request it. I did not like that I ordered a burgers and fries and I had to go down and pick it up. They did not bring it up to my room. Also it wasn't good at all, It tastes like it was made in a microwave.

The mattress is why I give this hotel 3 stars. It can be a bit more comfortable. Time to update them. After that the experience was good.

Overall, the hotel and location was great. Breakfast was good, not a great variety. Some days cutlery was short and they never had lids to take out coffee.

As a Hyatt elite member my concerns were addressed by the manager Alexis in a extremely rude manner. This hotel is not following the fair housing act. They are not ADA compliant either. If you are expecting to stay here with your service animal be prepared to see a random pet fee charge without your knowledge or Consent along with an extremely nasty attitude from Alexis. This is against the federal law to deny someone or charge them for a service animal. I’m going to be reporting them as I see fit!! Alexis specifically charge me when it’s convenient for her.

We booked two rooms for 3 nights for family of 4 First night after check in, we discovered one of our room already have someone in there. Scary… Second night- after a full day outside, we discovered the room didn’t get service except the towels were changed. We specifically requested the room service ( cleaning) and apparently their definition of clean room is only change towels. Not very look forward for the 3rd night. We have to wipe all over again as it’s not very clean. Whether the bed sheet is clean or not it’s doubted. I saw some good reviews here that’s the reason we booked it, however not sure what’s going on now. Very disappointing.

This is a great hotel located close to all additional needs. Breakfast was a little below standards due to inventory but the customer service of the clerks(3) different ones during our stay made up for it greatly. Rooms spacious and clean. Coffee bar was well stocked!

Since my 1st time staying here, I've stayed here twice and will be staying again this weekend. My wife, daughter and I really love this hotel. We are from NC but have been visiting family in Atlanta and Alabama frequently the last 2 months. The MAIN reason for our stay here is the AWESOME customer service provided by Mr. Yannick Um Gwet(The Frenchman). His customer service is the best I've encountered in ANY industry!! I love to observe and I've noticed his encounters with other guests. Nobody leaves or enters without a smile and satisfaction. Hopefully headquarteres see this and give him his respect and dues. The entire staff does great. Kudos to this hotel!!!!

We have stayed here more than a dozen times. It is very convenient to shops and dining. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the school our daughter goes to on Saturday. The staff changes some every few months, but they are always helpful and friendly. They usually make sure we get the room we want. My family and I don't really care for the breakfast since covid has brought menu changes. GA 400 is very close too.

Really nice hotel, the staff service is second to none, all really helpful and friendly. Room was really nice and clean; wish it had more USB plugins but the beds were comfortable. Wifi was good, breakfast in the morning is pretty basic but would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nice and clean hotel. I recommend the Hyatt Place if you are near Alpharetta, Georgia. The complimentary breakfast was also nice with a good variety. My only complaint was the beds were more like full size and not queen.

  • 5/5 Tony K. 2 years ago on Google
The front desk staff were absolutely amazing. Yannick was superb with his customer service to myself and my associate during our stay. There were no questions left unanswered, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be staying here again!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
