Don't let the 1990s outside fool you, this hotel has been nicely updated. The lobby area is fresh, with unique areas to work so you aren't stuck in your room. The cafe is a departure from the norm, more like a walk up Starbucks with an actual cook who made me a nice breakfast. Great. The people who work here are seasoned staff who know how to treat customers well. The room was updated with a unique layout that allowed for a nice sitting couch area. The wifi is fast too. I pulled one star off because the bathroom area (toilet and shower) hadn't been updated and seemed tired. The tub was wide with good water pressure. New toilet. Just a refresh in the bathroom is all it needs. Overall I am very pleased with my 2 night visit here. Great location too.

Not what I expected from a Courtyard. The room smelled bad. Extremely musty. The carpet seemed old and dirty. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, and the beds were comfortable. Still, I wouldn't stay at this location again.

While you can't have high expectations from a Courtyard, this property fell quite short. The rooms are semi-renovated. The main living area is ok, but the bathrooms are old and tired. One of the windows in my room was completely fogged over. Wouldn't stay here again.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, noce garden area and plenty of free parking. There is on flaw. I believe the ice machine was broken so around 4am water started to flow in the broken ice machine, it was more like the sound of a strong stream or river, this woke us up and continued for an hour or so. At the time we thought it was our toilet. But after checking inside the room at 5am we gave up. We could no longer sleep with the sound of a river. Really it was not a constant sound but a splashing water sound. So if your given a room next to an ice machine beware. We won't be back

Excellent staff and a clean room. It was right by where I needed to go the next day as well as a little mall area with food. I recommend this hotel.

Nice spacious rooms which appear to be recently updated. Bathroom and tub area is large but for me the valve to close the spout for the shower would not close all the way. Towels were plentiful and in good condition. Seen better seen way worse. Staff very helpful and happy. Bistro are is nice with pricier versions of corporate locations. Couple of issues I had and brought it with the desk is checkout is 12 noon but they killed my access card at 10:30 forcing me to use the public restroom while having meetings there. Very disappointed with this and makes no sense. I didn't check out yet. Other issue was there was no wifi in my room for the first 3 nights.

Always had a great experience. Great location and clean rooms. Staff has always been very accommodating especially Patty at the front desk.

Very nice, clean room. Front desk was very helpful. I was there for my niece's wedding. I would go back if need be. Close to restaurants.

Very nice staff, lobby is nice for hanging out or working. You're a 5 minute drive from high end downtown Alpharetta and less to some of the nearby office parks. The property and rooms are dated unfortunately. Their Pure Wellness rooms have covid era air purifiers in them. Decent touch I suppose but mine in #265 was loud and rattling like an old AC so I turned it off. Coffee bar downstairs is great but it closes at 9:30a and I missed it in my second morning 😩.

My stay here was absolutely wonderful. I stayed Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and I couldn’t be happier. Linda on the phone when I initially called was so sweet and welcoming. When I arrived Patti was at the front desk and she did a phenomenal job of making me feel comfortable and relaxed after a distressing evening and travel. After checking in I was on cloud nine. The room was clean, quiet and well appointed. The area around the hotel has everything you could possibly want while staying in a hotel. Good restaurants, stores and walking trails etc. and closely located to major highway 400. Before leaving make sure to see Robin for a yummy coffee! Thank you to Marriott for staffing such great people! I will be ba l for sure!

Marriott was very proactive on getting and ensuring ADA compliant room. HOWEVER, the room description says: Guest room, 1 King, Sofa bed, Mobility Accessible Room with Roll-in Shower. There was no sofa bed, AND the bed is so tall, it's difficult to transfer from wheelchair to bed, and difficult to get out of bed.

My room is clean, the bed is soft, the hotel is in a relatively quiet suburban area. The staff was very nice and attentive, the hotel has modern furnishings that are very comfortable and lots of area down in the lobby for working with laptops or just relaxing and watching TV. They have multiple outlets and a wireless charging alarm clock in the room also, plus the WiFi always worked. The hotel has on site parking, laundry service that's coin operated, a gym, but also in close walking distance to two strip malls that includes a Walgreens. The reason why it wasn't 4 stars is the 2 floor has kind of a funky (musty) smell, not sure why? But it wasn't over powering by any means, and the breakfast cost a lot, I was on a work trip so it was included, but $6 for a small OJ is a bit much. I didn't eat on the premises but they do have food options and a small bar with prices that are kinda high, but on par with everything else around them.

Where to start … - Booked a suite to have a few meals in room over 5 days. We had a living room but no real kitchen -microwave and mini fridge but not even a few paper plates, towels, sponge, small cafe table/chairs. Should have booked a regular room at less expensive price. - they're commitment was to service our room every other day. Our stay was Saturday to Thursday - and our room was serviced once! First day we had 2 ppl and 3 coffee pods ?!? Had to stalk the cleaning ppl. What were we to do for the next day … No coffee ? I’m all for sustainability and reusing towels etc for a few days - but they need to leave sufficient supplies for 2 days …. Mgr granted a 10k point credit but no refund for booking a suite for no reason. - Rushing to get ready to go out one morning - can’t find the blow dryer? Used the room phone - it rings forever with no pick up. I used the app and 5 mins later I got dressed and walked to front desk. At 10 mins+ I hung up and spoke to front desk in person.. Seems there’s a dryer in bag on hanger in closet but we didn’t see it. We were late for morning activities and pick up. - One late afternoon we returned and the power was out and we were told several times when the service would be restored. First we went out to eat out after hiking all day (when we had food in the refrigerator for dinner). Came back twice afterward - no power. - Finally we asked if there was a power supply to charge devices before moving to pitch dark room. Nope - we were told at 9:40 we should go out to charge our devices - like there’s a library open. (We drove around forever earlier to find a restaurant open on a weekday night.) - Go back to room in dark with dying phone and found the room wasn’t refreshed. Had to walk back down stairs in dark for towels. But no showers since power didn’t return until after 2 AM. - Asked for manager to call about the servicing of the room and lack of emergency charging station but still haven’t heard from him several weeks later I know this sounds like I’m a person in search of a problem, but this is 100% how the stay went. Life happens and I get it’s not their fault the electric went out - but that was the end of an already challenging stay. And no basic emergency prep is a non starter for me Wouldn’t recommend this location for personal or business traveL

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard by Marriot Atlanta Alpharetta. Great location, friendly staff, good amenities etc. Good size rooms, meeting rooms, lounging area and breakfast space. There is no continental breakfast. It is an independent meal. But overall I give this hotel 9.5.

This is Courtyard was not up to any Marriot standards that I have seen. I upgraded us to the Executive suite. Which in reality was smaller and older than any courtyard I have been to. No USB ports, looks like something from the 70's. TV worked though. I brought my wife for a couple day get away. We were both so disappointed that we left the night before check out. Our "Executive Suite" was more inline with a Motel 6 room. Elevator was making "scary" noises when it was trying to stop. I suggest the stairs. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

AWFUL customer service!!! I should’ve cancelled after calling and getting a rude night auditor. But I check in and of course I have Patti who is just awful to me. Such a rude lady, I can not understand why she would even want to be in hospitality if she refuses to try.

Disappointing stay. Place is falling apart. Apparently Courtyards have become Motel 6? Towels thin, tiny bed, light blankets, short-staffed. First night we stayed (Dec 23rd and 11 degrees), we were woken at 3 am by a fire alarm caused by an electrical fire. Fun times! The whole place smelled like burnt wires for the next two days despite fans blowing. The receptionists had to wear parkas and scarves. It was a weird time. I could not understand the mismatch between the neighborhood and the hotel.

The room was clean and spacious but they lied about having an living room area in the kings executive room. There was no microwave and the channels on the TV were awful. However the shower and the body wash was Amazing! And the balcony was nice to have.

I stayed at the Courtyard Atlanta Alpharetta for the weekend because I wanted to stay at a Marriott property with affordable, competitive rates on the outskirts of Atlanta while still being within driving distance to downtown Atlanta. I must say that this is perhaps the nicest Courtyard by Marriott I had stayed at so far. Upon check-in, I was politely greeted and thanked for my loyalty as a Titanium Elite Member. I was then informed by the front desk that I was upgraded to an Executive Suite, which I was very appreciative of. I opted for the $10 Food and Beverage credit for 2 as my welcome gift. My partner was able to use it to grab a Hagaan-Daas ice cream at the convenience store in the lobby when he was craving for sweets one night, and we used the rest of it at the Bistro for breakfast. I forgot the name of the dish, but I ordered an eggs platter one morning with Pork Sausage, Whole Wheat Toast, Tomatoes with green onions, and scrambled egg whites; in addition to a Starbucks Venti Caramel Macchiato. My order was brought out to me while I was working away on my laptop in one of the cubicles with a table and TV screen. It came out with regular scrambled eggs, for which they apologized and took it back to switch it out with egg whites. I apologized for the miscommunication as well as I read the menu wrong and didn't realize the dish offered both regular and egg whites, I just forgot to specify I wanted egg whites, so I just made sure to tip extra once I got the correct order. I used the gym at this hotel and I like how it seemed bigger than most Courtyards I've stayed had having a dumbbells rack, adjustable benches, yoga mats, and yoga/medicine balls; in addition to the usual assortment of cardio machines (bikes, treadmills, and ellipticals). This was also the cleanest Courtyard I had stayed at. Other than my room/suite being clean, the one thing that tipped me off that housekeeping at this hotel does a great job were the lights in the hallway. If you look up, you'll see it's a type of circular lantern. Some Courtyard properties I've stayed at neglect these lights and you can see dead bugs and dirt on the bottom surface of these lights sometimes. None of the lights at the Courtyard Atlanta Alpharetta had this issue, they were all very clean, and I was thoroughly impressed at the care and attention to detail! The Executive Room I was given was excellent. I think what I liked most about it was the Keurig coffee maker machine and an actual Courtyard pen and sticky notes pad on the night stand (an amenity I have sorely missed seeing in the last 2 years). Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel and would consider staying here again if I don't want to pay exorbitant rates closer to downtown and want to also avoid heavy traffic.

It’s Patty’s no care attitude, Frank “not being in his office” and Michael from reservations having me on hold to only say I still had to call the hotel and was just simply worrying about credit for rebooking. Reservation was canceled without sending a confirmation email. How we do business like that is beyond me. This makes me question why this hotel has the Marriott name. Very disappointed in the service I received. I left off customer because clearly they don’t care about those. I just hope I’m not financially responsible for a visit I had every intention of keeping and paying for. However, I now have to find somewhere to stay day of. Thanks Patty, Frank, and Michael from Reservations you really know how to do customer service right!

I was truly disappointed and taken back when a dear friend of mine contacted me is such a distraught state about his experience at this Marriot location. He has been a loyal customer to this business for years and have never been treated with such disrespect--they, specifically Patti (Front Desk) and Matt (General Manager), had no concern or intention of accommodating a room to my friend's severe allergies. They were beyond unreasonable when he expressed that he cannot have feathered pillows, Patti and Matt insisted that he would have to "put up with it or get out". In this day and age it is a sensitive accusation to make, but the treatment he endured almost seemed like it was a racial situation. I cannot begin to understand the disregard of human integrity Patti and Matt have displayed. It is unfortunate that such a long time, loyal customer such as my dear friend, had to experience this horrible behavior from employees that are suppose to make them feel welcomed and secured.

Great atmosphere clean and pleasant the staffs are professional, kind, and helpful, definitely the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and of course the lobby is very welcome and relaxing, beautiful view as well all you need is right there, of course the gym is amazing I love it I would recommend to family friends and anyone else who's on vacation also those who wants to have a staycation or just a weekend out I would suggest this is the right place just to get away and have fun enjoy the atmosphere and relax. Room the room was clean and functional but the wait staff knew that we were three people and we did not have three towels or three worst loss or three sets of soap! Also there was some misunderstanding about the bill but we got it straight. Overall it was a good experience but it could have been better. Oh yes the coffee was awful. However the Starbucks coffee at The Bistro was awesome!

The hotel is well located and the staff are pleasant. However, they are currently undergoing some renovation work insidep, so on the way to your room you will come across the work. The laundry doesn't work and the staff doesn't seem to care (they told me that another guest had already informed them about this problem a few days ago but nothing was done). The room is quite simple but the shower ventilation makes an unbearable noise, it sounds like a diesel engine starting!

I am so underwhelmed by this hotel. I had high hopes that it was going to be nice based on the reviews but it wasn't. We checked in at night and the outside was dim and needs more lighting. The hotel is also located in a cute neighborhood and is located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The best part of this hotel is the lobby area. It was well lit and vibrant nothing like our room. Here are my issues with the room. As soon as we walked in the smell of old smoke hits you in the face. The decor in the room is outdated, it gives you dungy basement vibes. The sheets felt damp, I guess it was because they had the air on 60 degrees to try to eliminate any smells. The bathroom had spots of mold and the wallpaper is bulging in certain spots. Also, you have to pay for breakfast, it's not complementary. After a long drive, I just wanted a clean room with clean sheets... I don't think that I'll be staying at another Marriott and I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

A friend from out of town was staying here. The lady at the front desk was super nice. She was easygoing and kind. I only give 4 stars because I have not stayed here, and that's where the true test lies.

I loved this hotel. Definitely will be staying here again. Staff was super nice and check in and out was easy. Everything was so clean and the bed was so comfortable...I slept like a baby.

Very nice and reasonable price. Great location, in the same plaza as my favorite breakfast spot so it was within walking distance. The additional exits are a plus. Decor and furniture was nice. No complaints. Highly recommended

Integrity and kindness are lacking in this establishment. My daughter and I arrived in the evening of 5/14/22 around 11:30 p.m. We had traveled a good distance and were ready for bed. I assumed the process to check in would be fairly quick due to the fact that I had paid in advance online. When I approached the front desk the woman seemed nice and asked if I wanted to use the same card I paid with for an incidental fee, but never informed me of what that fee would be. I said no, being that I had brought a different card with me and pulled it out to hand it to her. She received another call in that moment while assisting me, and instead of putting them on hold, she begin to assist them. I then saw a notification hit my phone for a transaction of $180 for the Courtyard Marriott that was declined. It happens a second time, in the meantime she is still on the phone with someone else. When she got off the phone, I inform her that I paid for the room already and asked why she was taking an additional $180 out? The total was supposed to be $147 for one night. She informed that due to me deciding to use a different card for the incidental fee she canceled the entire thing and was charging me again. However, none of what she was doing with my money was discussed with me before doing it, also she ran that same card for a higher amount without explaining the charges. I never got an answer as to why the total was $180? I checked my account to see if the money had come back on my card and of course it had not. It takes at least 5 to 10 business days. I was so frustrated but remained calmed and asked her what I needed to do, she said nothing. She handed me my key and sent me on my way. Upon entering the room, the bathroom had not been cleaned well. My daughter took the sofa bed, but when pulling it out there was no plastic covering over the bed and therefore it was very dirty. There were no sheets left for the bed. It looked like someone had urinated on the bed several times. There were bugs in the corners of the couch as well. My daughter had to sleep with me. I woke up to several transactions for different amounts on my card that she had tried to process, due to her mistake. When the money that you took and then canceled without telling me is put back on my card, you can take it out again.. I am a hard working single mother, you can not do what you please with other people's money. This company is not trustworthy. I've called several times and asked for a manager but no one will return my call. I do not recommend this hotel and will never use them again in the future!

The room was large and the decor was very nice. The staff was great once I was able to check in. The property itself is nice in the courtyard area. Parking was somewhat limited and that's one thing that kept me from having it 5 stars.

Terrible customer service at this location, as a Marriott member I’ve never been treated so bad at any Marriott ever! During my stay the shower was dirty and no towels in the room when I checked in. I did not complain just called the desk to get them. The next day a housekeeper actually walked in my room when I was completely naked, no knock or anything just walks in and looks at me. I called the desk to complain, they were extremely nonchalant while apologizing. I called back again to express my issue because it really made me uncomfortable and the woman Patty at this desk was very rude and unwilling to help, her tone literally sounds like she hates her job very nonchalant and unwilling to help customers. Her response to me was that I should have put Tha do not disturb sign on the door. There was never a do not disturb sign left in our room, this courtyard is terrible. I would avoid booking a room here at all costs.

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. Room was spacious and had an outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, they show as a pet friendly hotel but instead of charging a pet fee we were charged a $200 cleaning fee. After speaking to management, I was told that this is the new charge since they are no longer a pet friendly hotel (although the website says otherwise).
