Dated, worn decor in need of a remodel. Friendly staff, except for the guy behind the desk who couldn't be bothered to take out his earbuds or look up from his phone to take care of a customer. Good beds and shower. Good location.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Stayed here a couple of weeks ago for my sons basketball tournament. Air conditioner only halfway worked, or didn’t work at all. We were on the top floor and the only accommodation that they were willing to give me was to not charge me for my second night if I left. If I stayed, they still would charge me full price and gave me one super dusty fan to cool my king suite that had 2 rooms. The manager, Mr. Lee, kept just saying he apologized. I asked if he could go get a portable AC and he said there were no stores that sold that in the area. Meanwhile there was a Home Depot 3 minutes away. I’m also a Hilton Honors member and expected so much better.

3-Star hotel at best. I travel a lot and was not particularly impressed. 1. My initial room reeked of cigarettes on a non-smoking floor and the hotel advertises as being non-smoking. They moved me and gave me breakfast vouchers which was nice. 2. Prepare to have drunken people yelling outside your window until upwards of 12:30 am (on a weeknight). This was every night, some nights it ended by 11 pm, one night by 10, but if you try to get to bed early and are near that area, prepare to hear it. The “fan” feature of the AC doesn’t blow unless heat or cold air is actively on. 3. The gym was set to an 85 degree temp and smelled of rubber. It was a whole thing to ask to change the temp and I backtracked and decided to skip it. 4. Housekeeping tapped lightly on my door and opened it on check out day at 8 am, didn’t say “housekeeping” or anything. I should have put the “do not disturb” sign, so that’s my fault and 8 am is not the greatest but not the worst. When they continued cleaning next door, they knew someone was in my room sleeping and the banging was outrageously loud. Disappointed there. Safe to say, I won’t be back. I shared this feedback and the front person offered me points or breakfast. I didn’t feel empathized with - the response was “sorry for the inconvenience” instead of a genuine “that’s not a great experience, I’m sorry.” I was polite and respectful.

Old hotel. AC and heating poor, everything dated. Smells funny. Fitness center comprised of one very old and rusted machine, two decent treadmills, one elliptical. It’s small - maybe two people could be there comfortably. Rooms very dated, shower faucet dripped constantly. Cheapest toilet paper you can imagine and no water bottles in the room.

Had such a great experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptional and friendly. We were able to check-in to our room early without asking; the lady at the front desk just offered. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying at this location.

Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. The breakfast staff is fantastic, funny and very friendly. Our family stayed here for a wedding over New Years and the hotel was very accommodating by letting us use the lobby area as a welcoming point for the guests arriving. I'd highly recommend!

Diamond member. There is a certain level of experience you expect from the different brands within Hilton. This hotel is worse than most Hamptons. The hotel is old and dirty. I got bit by something in my sleep each night I was here. I requested blankets at 9:30pm for my kids and I was told that someone was starting work at 10pm and they would bring them up to my room. At 10:28 I called the front desk and they clearly forgot about me. The breakfast at Hilton Garden Inn is usually a notch above Hampton with cooked to order eggs and omelettes. This is not the case here. You pay $14 with tax for a Hampton inn style breakfast. No cooked to order eggs/omelettes which is why I booked the place. The food was sub par with chewy rubber sausage patties. The hotel guide in the room says, “Enjoy our cooked to order breakfast with Omelettes, Pancakes and French toast”. I asked for this and was declined it. Another part that is missed here is the service. At Hilton Garden Inn they usually have a waitress/waiter that serves your table. There were two people watching everyone grab food from the buffet and then would simply walk to your table to hand you the bill expecting a tip. This is not the experience I was hoping for.

Quiet and safe location close to amenities and services. Staff was professional and courteous. In particular, Tara and Brandon were especially helpful and comforting during a difficult situation. They definitely went above and beyond and I wanted to acknowledge such.

This is a very nice hotel, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a problem with there not being enough towels available at the pool even though we had requested towels before we went down there. We had to use hand towels from the gym area next to the pool. Also, just be aware that the breakfast buffet is not free. I was surprised when I was handed a $13 bill. It's a really good hotel breakfast, better than other hotel breakfasts, and has a great variety, but it's not free. It is $13 per person. Thankfully, though, kids do eat free. Bring your own towels for the pool and calculate the cost of breakfast into your stay.

Great and helpful staff, clean hotel and rooms, hot bar breakfast options were perfect. 4 star rating because rooms were not cleaned during our stay, our towels were picked up but we never received cleaned towels back despite being promised by house keeping staff that we will receive clean towels. Hotel staff should have communicated expectations regarding guest room cleaning. In spite of this, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel… roaches in the rooms. The staff at the front desk were friendly but the rooms are very sub-par. They’re outdated and don’t feel very clean, but maybe I’m biased because I woke up to a cockroach crawling up our wall. We told the front desk upon checkout, and they said “oh we’ll note that”, but nothing else was said or done about it.

Perfect location for shoppers and eatery, as well as entertainment!! Love this hotel, me and my family felt like it was home away from home. The front desk clerks and staff were so friendly and made our stay so welcoming and amazing esp at checking in and checking out. Our best stay by far in the Atlanta area! Will return again!!! 😍

If you are looking for a warm hotel that is a home away from home this is the hotel. My initial point of contact was with Tara, Front Desk team member. She was the most pleasant and accommodating person that I have met at a Hilton property on a long time. She deserves a "Caught you at your best" recognition. She wanted to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. Thank you! Kenken and Tam in the Food services/breakfast were extremely pleasant and catering as well. They served all of the guest during breakfast with exceptional service. Thank you to Jason also. You all deserve the 4 stars. I already recommended your property. We will be back.

There were multiple things wrong and I felt unsafe. There was trash in the lobby I had to tell the front desk attendants about, the attendants spoke loudly and cursed amongst each other in their conversation. The Manager of the restaurant did not greet any Black guests during the breakfast serving time. He only greeted white guests. The room next to me, Room 624 was left unlocked and the door propped open all night. This made me feel as if something was going on in that room that shouldn’t have been. I reported it to the front desk and they basically laughed at me and wondered why I had an issue. I felt unsafe. Anyone could’ve walked in that room during the night. My experience was not a good one. At all. I was truly disappointed and dissatisfied.

Hilton Garden is a cheap and clean place to stay, and the staff is great, especially the bartender Larry, who's always there for a friendly conversation. Now on to the prices for drinks and a breakfast that consists of styrofoam plates and cups, plastic ware, and warmed-up frozen food that can only rival food in the county jail. The dinner options are equally blah and typically the kitchen is out of everything..The drink prices are INSANE, with a double vodka at a shocking price tag of $28.50; a drink at the Ritz Carlton costs less, seriously. So, to if you plan your next trip and choose Hilton Garden Inn, get ready to BROB and download your DoorDash app.

Bed and frames was terrible. Plumbing was continuously running. Carpet was dirty. Under bed looks never vacuumed . First floor remodeling chemicals smell make you nauseated.

Cute hotel with all the necessities. Comfortable rooms and bed but could use some updating. Great location right down the street from the Avalon shopping center

We were not able to get room keys. The room was short on towels, but that was corrected. Late check-in, and we were in for the night. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

The reason we picked this hotel was the fire pit area with the nice couches so we could hang out with family that lives near. Area looked like it had never been blown off and most of the cushions had ants on them so we never were able to enjoy the fire pit. Also was surprised the bathroom didn't have any exhaust fan. Room was ok except for noisy ac unit.

DIRTY AND TIRED HOTEL! It's been a long time since I walked into a hotel and was nervous to touch anything. My room felt like it had NEVER been deep cleaned, it even had a bandaid on the bathroom wall...I put towels on the floor so I didn't have to walk on the carpet. I can't believe Hilton is ok with their name on this property.

Rooms clean. Nice hotel, average Hilton inn. But the reason for the 5 stars is the staff is amazing!!! Girl at the front desk is always friendly with a smile. The guy who makes breakfast "Iconta" is always friendly and easy to get along with and makes really amazing breakfast. I come here because of the staff. Always smiling, always friendly, always accommodating.

Rooms are very clean. Hostess checked me in right away. Bar was clean and bartender was great, lit the fire outside for me. Burger was one of the best ive had in months. Hotel staff is of a rare kind, wish everyone I stayed at was this hospitable and kind.

Staff was Amazing! From the front desk to GRA's. I tried the laundry room, it was clean but the machines are a bit outdated. Their restaurant is open, but was not able to make it there. They seem to be pretty busy everyday I walked by. I had an amazing view every morning and evening 😍

I was owed a complimentary night over an occurrence that took place last year during the holday. The manager Stephan facilitated this in a smooth and professional way! What happened I won’t mention because it wasn’t really their fault yet they still saw fit to ensure my experience. I am so impressed with my stay and how they went out of their way for me (hotel staff!) I travel a lot but this I’ll never forget!!!

Very quite location. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was big and super clean. And the breakfast was awesome. My husband was still asleep and the server fixed me up with a room service tray to take to my room. Not just your normal Hampton. This place goes above and beyond

Louise was so helpful and polite. I accidentally booked the wrong dates for the hotel, upon arrival we found out and it was also after midnight. She made sure that we got our refund and got us a room with a king bed which wasn’t available when I was booking. Another staff member made sure that the room was clean for us and we had fresh towels. I would definitely stay here again just for the staff.

The rooms are old and need upgrades. It smelled like an old room. Check in was odd. It was not my favorite place to stay, but these trees were gorgeous outside our window. They just need to put a little money in their property and it can be better.

Nice hotel with very nice meeting rooms in the lower level. Rooms were nicely done with a comfortable bed. Desk was setup up well to get work done and the small refrigerator worked well to keep snacks and drinks cold.

Pretty good overall. I think the label of 4 stars is a bit of a stretch. Hotel seemed on the older side, and the sink had low water pressure. Most of the tv channels kept going in and out. But, it is in a great location when it comes to food options, and everything else was solid when it came to the room and cleanliness. Pool being indoors was also a plus.

  • 4/5 Mitch M. 1 year ago on Google
Even though I have gave it 4 stars it wasn't because of the bed. Our bed was bouncy and a little to soft. Besides that it was a real nice place to stay and was in a good location. We enjoyed the court yard and the wicker furniture was real comfortable.

Wonderful welcoming staff. The host of the breakfast buffet, Kenken, was delightful as was the hostess. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. There are nice places to read or chat in the lobby and past the elevators. We had a wonderful chicken salad for dinner our first night there.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel rooms are a little dated, but that is reflected in the price as it was a much lower rate compared to other Hilton hotels in the area. I did not use the pool, but I did pop my head in and it appeared clean and had plenty of towels stocked.

  • 4/5 Grace C. 2 years ago on Google
This is a nice hotel. The indoor pool is the perk we wanted, although there is not a hot tub. I rated the hotel a 4 due to cleanliness. Apparently the housekeeping department needs staff. There was candy wrapping in the bedside drawer, and the pool area had tons of dirty towels and candy wrapping laying around. Our family did notice a lot of kids here for some event, but it still should've been cleaner, especially in the room. Otherwise, it has been a good visit.

Comfy bed. Great water pressure in the shower. No freezer in the fridge. Business center needs some serious updating - browser on the computers is so old that you can't open Gmail; remote printing doesn't work at all. Breakfast doesn't feel as good as it used to - French toast and pancakes were both thin - and the new dining credit doesn't cover the cost of the previously free breakfast.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn over the weekend for a late christmas celebration with my in laws. When we got there the hotel didnt look like the pictures. The outside and inside looked run down and outdated. The room was too small and so was the bathroom. The room was also extremely not kid friendly. There was a glass coffee table with removeable top. The beds had wooden box frames that were raised and I got multiple bruises from it. The internet wouldnt work. The "Contental" breakfast which at most hotels is free, and one of the reasons why we booked this hotel, cost $9pp and a hot breakfast was $13pp. The pool was nice and warm but left you feeling slimy. Also if water splashed you in the mouth it tasted salty. There was so much clorine put in the pool that you have to wash immediately because it burns your skin. The bathroom didnt have enough towels and wash cloths for anymore than a couple. Then upon asking for extras they were either not left or it seemed to be a big deal to get more. The few good things that we enjoyed were the staff. Each staff member was polite, happy, and helpful. Everytime we came back to the hotel they greeted us with a smile and were eager to hear about our adventures that day. You do not get that much at hotels. Also the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The cleaning crew came the day before we left because our son had an accident in bed and the room was immaculate and smelled clean when we got back. There was an ice machine on every floor except number 1. The elevator is in the middle of the rooms so no matter what room you are in its not far to the elevator. The only reason we gave the rating that we did is because of the staff. They were Amazing but not a good enough reason to return to this hotel. I also wanted to upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi tub and was told they didnt have them. Its been a long time since Ive seen that.

Everything is always great at these mid-priced Hilton offerings, except the pillows! Four for the king room I selected, but each had the same super-soft fill. Mix these up a bit.... 2 soft... 2 firm maybe?
