Completely awful. I asked for a meat Stromboli at the front counter and oddly I get one taken from a refrigerator on the side to go. I come home and after noticing that the food tastes kind of stale I notice it is dated from ten days ago! Don’t want my money back, this negative review is what results from selling people old stale items. Threw item in the garbage where it should have been in the first place, and I will never come back.

I had an opportunity to meet an owner of this restaurant when he delivered a gluten free pizza to my chiropractor’s office. It was amazing! So I had to visit his market. This is a very nice, very friendly shop with a great assortment of meats (one of the only places in Georgia you can get a Margarita brand pepperoni!) and cheeses, a kitchen making sandwiches, pizzas and what have you. Word is that most of the really good things come fresh from NYC super deli, Katz’s! I ordered a pastrami on rye (sorry keto!). It was good...personally I like a little more fat in my brisket...but it had a great flavor. Even my wife was impressed. I’ll be back to try more. I strongly recommend you give it a try, especially if you are a NY/NJ transplant in need a a taste of home.

I thought I was having a small, low key wedding of 22 (mostly NY family) and having Savory Gourmet cater (they're my fav Italian restaurant/ market) would be nice. Instead, Savory Gourmet turned it into a magnificent upscale catered event! Not only did Adam give me great advice on the menu, he delivered as promised and set up fast. Eggplant parm, pasta primavera, ziti, chicken parm, chicken Milanese, roasted Italian veggies, 2 salads and charcuterie. All were so good guests continued to get "another small plate" for hours. Also my gluten free family members were so impressed with their delicious meal they froze the leftovers to take on the plane back to NY. Yes, I said it. New Yorker's took Italian food made in GA back to NY! If you know anything about how Italian NYers are about their red sauce, you would impressed. Thank you, Chef Adam, Laurie and Carrie Robinson-Hyzdu for all you did to make my wedding guests feel as though they were at an upscale event. A gem like Savory Gourmet is difficult to find in GA and doesn't happen without many people putting in long hours. I huge thank you, to you and your entire team at Savory Gourmet for all you do! My only regret is that I wish I could give more than 5 stars! = )

WOW!!! We are from Chicagoland & found the best Jewish deli sandwiches here in Roswell/Atlanta. I had roast beef (in pic) was exquisite, melted in your mouth like butter! Mom had corned beef, Superb! Best we've had anywhere. 20 stars!!!!! Can you PLEASE open one in Geneva IL (similar shopping town like Roswell)??

Used to love their to-go meals but it seems they mostly only carry veal now, which my family is definitely not eating because of the horrific way it’s farmed. I hope they again start to carry additional dishes that aren’t veal-based.

Customer service was good but the roasted chicken pizza was not. The chicken was dry, the crust was doughy so seemed slightly undercooked, and there was a hair. I tried to reason that the hair came from me BUT it was under a piece of the chicken. A disappointing and pricey lunch that I just couldn’t eat. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take it back as I had to return to work. I’ve heard great things about this place but I just had a disappointing experience. Do not think I’ll return.

Italian combo. Baggett, three meats, roasted bell peppers, lettuce, provolone cheese, balsamic vinegar. It's pretty good.

Had heard this place was amazing, and it was better than that. We split a few sandwiches between us, and my favorite was the Italian Combo. It's easily the best Italian I've had in Georgia. Everyone here was great, too. We had the corned beef Ruben and miss Emily's chicken salad. Both were good too. For some odd reason one of my son's got a pizza instead of a sandwich. Pizza was good.

This Quaint shop is so amazing ! There drops is fresh and they also sell hand cut meats make goods and locally sourced sauces and jellies ! They also serve breakfast all day as well as some yummy lunch options and also seem to have something to fit most dietary needs . If your on Canton street try this one out for a sandwich shop feel but flavorful and filling dish .

Fresh and delicious! I love to grab a soup & sandwich for lunch and take home beef bolognese for dinner. They have all kinds of freshly made take-home meals, charcuterie, cheeses, and lovely desserts.

Best corned beef sandwich in Atlanta. Real NY bagels and food. A bit pricey, but worth it.

A little gem in downtown Alpharetta. I grew up in South Jersey where fantastic sandwiches, especially cheese steaks, pizza, and pasta were everywhere. This has more of a New York slant, but that's definitely not a bad thing. Best cheesesteak I've found since I've been in Georgia. U have to try the Prosciutto de Parma, Italian Combo, and Ruben sandwiches. Pizza is excellent and very tasty. They have a variety of prepared meals that u take home to cook; eggplant parmigiana is really good. For a quick bite try the pepperoni pinwheels - yum. U have to try them.

The Savory Gourmet was recommended to me to cater a Welcome Reception. From the moment I spoke with Kathy until the food was set up and delivered, I was extremely impressed with the service I received. The food was excellent and received many compliments. Our transactions were all by phone since I live out of town. I took a chance and was greatly pleased! Thank you!!

The absolute best deli in atlanta! The chicken salad is famous! The New York meats are authentic! This is a very very special place!

The food here is amazing! It smells incredible from the moment you walk in. The sandwich is an Italian and was a generous portion. I also got a black and white cookie from the bakery section that had a nice cake like texture. They have a little market area where you can by food products and some kitchen items. Service was quick for a to go order. Will definitely go back soon!

We got a chicken Parmesan dinner for two to go, it was basically not edible. Tough, dry pieces of chicken. We cooked it like it said on the package, would not buy this again although I’ve been happy with other food items there.

One of the only real deal delicatessens in Georgia. Absolutely delicious food, great provisions, super fast and friendly service. Alpharetta is lucky to have this place.

Chef Adam is the best!. He’s like a giant, jolly Santa that can kick your a** and cooks amazing brisket and penne alla vodka! Downtown Alpharetta’s finest and a stable! Great vibes and great people. Gigi, the new blonde front desk girl was a great addition and is super nice as well! 10/10 highly recommended and will be back!

I'll blame Stanley Tucci's show on Italy for making me curious about cheese and mortadella and all other wares. Sadly I cannot go to Italy to satisfy my curiosities so a simple google search led me to The Savory Gourmet. And I am glad I made the trip to downtown Alpharetta. They had so many options it made you dizzy. I picked some Procscuiito and Mortadella and the care and they promptly and with care began prepping a small pouch for me to take away. I've been sampling the purchase over the week and holy **** it is so damn good. The staff were really sweet and kind too and explained what they knew to help you if asked. Knowing this place exists makes me happy and I intend to return over the months and try out other offerings.

Paid a visit recently for a late brunch. We ordered a prosciutto di parma sandwich and an angus burger. Burger seemed to be too simple at first but omg how tasty it was after all! Their coffee was also very good. There were just a few people except for us and it was nice to see the kitchen staff having their lunch in the main area, too. The business owner was there and he checked on us to make sure that everything tastes good. The only thing that I'd change is regular cups and plates instead of carton. I understand that it's done for multiple reasons but it gives a better experience to everything. Most definitely will pay a visit again.

I've always be impressed with the quality of food and service so I stopped in to grab a quick bite for lunch. I ordered the Ruben sandwich and it was amazing! The thin shaved corned beef was tender, lean and piled high. The sandwich was served on artisan style toasted bread with melted swiss, just the right amount of sauerkraut and 1000 Island sauce served on the side. I love me some Rubens and the Savory Gourmet is my new go to.

So SO good! As a Jersey girl, I’m usually disappointed when businesses claim to be like a NY deli. But NOT HERE - it felt like home! All of the Italian specialty dishes you’d expect, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend their Mediterranean Tuna Salad. Truly exceptional taste and quality. I came back three times for lunch on ONE business trip because it was so good!

This place is delightful! We stumbled in looking for a breakfast spot when the options nearby were super crowded. This place offers a walk-up and order option with great breakfast sandwiches and omelettes available. Dining is counter style, so you may end up sitting next to people you don't know. The food is deli-fresh and delicious! I had an egg and bologna on an everything bagel and my husband had an omelette-- HUGE! The store is also filled with a huge variety of pre-made meals and soups that are out of this world-- short rib ravioli! YUM. There are so many to choose from, it's nearly impossible.

My daughter and I came here for brunch after Maple Street was way too crowded, and the service was great, and the food was delicious. Seating is VERY limited here, both inside and outside, hence the lower rating. Some customers are also unpleasant/entitled, but I suppose that comes with the territory when dealing with wealthy white people 🙄

😠 Avoid ! The overall experience was ok. Service was slow to almost non-existent. First off they couldn’t find our reservation. The had to re-book us and give us a new bowling alley number. When we got to it the tables had leftovers. They changed the alley for us later to a clean one. It was just ba...
